I'm in heaven! This doughnut place is open 24 hours! How incredible is that! Not only that they have some amazing doughnuts. We have stopped 3 times this week for a dozen delicious puffs of dough! Everyone in our house has their own favorite but my personal favorite is the lightly glazed tractor tire looking one! I'm not exactly sure what it's called. Family favs are the sprinkle doughnuts. Hubby likes the glazed doughnuts. The lemon cream filled ones are delicious. We've also picked up (out of curiosity) a maple bacon. Surprisingly good! Henry's Donut is one of those unassuming places that keeps you coming back for more because what they offer is so darn tasty. I pull into the strip mall, always in daylight hours, and wonder how busy this 24-hour shop gets in the middle of the night. I certainly wouldn't be hanging around here at 2 a.m., but when the siren song of donuts call, you gotta answer I suppose. The nice thing about that 24-hour business model is that no matter the time of day, the selection is usually pretty solid. I've come by at random times. Even at 7 on a Saturday morning or 4 on a Sunday afternoon, my needs are well met. No matter the donut shop, I tend to get a maple bar and an apple fritter (don't judge, I go hard). The maple bar at Henry's might not get my top honors (that'd be Countryside Donuts in Bothell), but the apple fritter is unmatched. The edges are crunchy, the inside soft and spiced with plenty of cinnamon, with a healthy dollop of apple pieces and flavor present throughout. It's not greasy; thank the stars, it doesn't coat your mouth in that mouth-smacking day-old grease bomb. As close as this place is to my house, I'm shocked I don't end up here more often than I do. But my wallet and my waistline probably thank me for the oversight. read more

My wife and I came in here at 11:00pm on a Saturday night, there was absolutely nobody else in here and the case was filled with donuts. The worker (owner?) came out of the back, we ordered 2 donuts for ourselves and then texted our friends to see if we should pick up a dozen for them. The guy started getting very rude and impatient after about one minute while we awaited our friends' response. I said "I'm sorry, I thought you would be happy to have more business." But he just shook his head in frustration. So we got our average donuts and left. I don't understand why people get an attitude when customers are trying to buy something. I mean, isn't this how you make a living? Why are you mad at me for wanted to purchase more donuts from you? There was no one else there, no line being held up, no other orders being fulfilled. Donuts are decent most of the time but the lady there is always just super rude and unfriendly. Nail in the coffin was today when I went in and asked for a bacon maple bar and an Apple fritter. She had me pay the $0.50 charge to use my card which was fine. But then when I got to my car I saw she had given me a regular maple bar. I went in thinking it would be a simple fix but she was adamant that I had said just maple. She said "it's going to cost you extra" and I said I was happy to pay the difference which was $0.87. But then she told me she was going to charge me the extra $0.50 to use my card again to pay the difference. I'm not trippin but why does she got to be such a b**** every single time I go in there. Love this place and the donuts so much! It is our go to place since it's so close to home (definitely not a good thing) & it's opened 24/7!!!! I've definitely made some midnight donuts run before, not ashamed about it. The donuts are so soft, fluffy, and fresh! It is on the sweeter end but I like it. I am a regular customer at Henry donuts. I ordered half dozen donuts today and lady put all the donuts in a small brown bag ( all squeezed together). I asked for a box and lady simply said . 50 cent. I mean i ordered 6 donuts.. I don't want all donuts mixed together. It's the best. Just stop by and get something. Anything. This is a Mukilteo establishment. I remember staying up late working on homework here in high school, stopping by after a night out in college, and stumbling in early in the morning before a hike for a coffee and sweet, sweet sustenance. Consistent quality and service, and the shop itself is always nicely lit and fairly clean. It's great to hang out in or just roll in and out of. Either way, worth the detour. read more

This is one of those legendary places that makes absolutely no effort whatsoever to tell you how legendary it is. There's just the little two-word sign out front, and it's not even plural. Do they really have only one doughnut? How can that be? They've built a mini-empire across Snohomish County, ranging from the fair gray fields of Boeing (this location) up through the ports and back inland to the farm country. There's nothing fancy about their presentation, except for the gothic cathedral bell that sounds when you open the door to come in. You park in a non-descript suburban strip mall parking lot, walk through a door like a million other doors you've walked through before, and Big Ben sonorously heralds your arrival. Cool door chime. An elegantly flour-dusted man behind the counter bustles silently from place to place to place, before materializing before you with a "Yes." You order from the plain pressboard display case, and he says "Yes." You run around the case to pay, and you're still putting away your receipt when three more people walk in, and he says "Yes." The simplicity of this feels like either a Harry Potter story (there must be wealthy goblins back there somewhere?) or maybe Raymond Carver or Joyce Carol Oates (you need to listen more deeply and empathetically to appreciate the virtues of consent?). Probably it's just a doughnut, but it all feels laden with portent somehow. And, yeah, the doughnuts. That's all anybody cares about. Why else would you read this, much less drive all the way here? I didn't try the coffee, but the doughnuts, damn. They are like little grenades made of pure cake. Other doughnuts just seem half-heartedly constructed by comparison. They're really sweet, lots of white sugar flavor, but they all taste different, and they all taste good. Don't let me come back here too often. read more

My friend introduced me to Henry's Donut sometime last year and I've been a fan ever since. They have great Chocolate Bars (Long Johns), Maple Bars and Cream Filled doughnuts, they're even good after sitting in a bag overnight. The French Crullers are only good when they are warm and fresh. Service is almost nonexistent, sometimes they say hi and sometimes they don't. My bf says the guy at counter tends to "mean mug." Lol. Anyways, tasty dougnuts, cheap and anytime you want them day or night. Can't really ask for more than that. read more
