His staff is fantastic, his office is quaint, there is no wait when you have your appointment, and he is such a professional and current with all the dental practices. Really, I was blown away. Dawn at the front desk checked me in and out and set up my next appointment and checked my insurance to explain what they covered, she was very thorough, professional and did it all with a Smile, you could tell she is very experienced and good at her job. The hygienist Jessica was great, she gave me a lot of time answering all my questions and explained what i needed in detail. She was Awesome!! Last but not least Dr. Zena was also great, he also talked to me and gave me time instead of rushing me out, I really appreciate that as it seems most places do that, your just a number, but at Babylon Smiles your much more than that, they really care about their patients and it shows in the great staff. Very Disappointing Experience - Will Not Be Returning…read more This was my first visit to this office after switching dentists. I had to wait approximately one month for an appointment. The purpose of my visit was to have my tooth examined/scanned and to have a filling replaced. I had previously received fillings from my former dentist and had no issues with that treatment. Since I recently moved to Suffolk County, I decided to switch to this dentist. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The doctor came in and, within approximately two minutes, told me in a very rude and dismissive manner that she absolutely could not perform a filling on the tooth. She stated that the tooth was not a good candidate for a root canal and recommended having the tooth extracted. She also stated that even after the extraction, the adjacent tooth could potentially become loose and might also need to be extracted. When we explained that the tooth had previously been filled by my former dentist and that the filling had recently come out, the doctor responded, in a very loud and disrespectful tone, essentially saying, "Then go to that dentist. I'm not doing it." I understand that a dentist may determine that a filling or other treatment is not appropriate. However, the way this information was communicated was extremely unprofessional and unnecessarily rude. Patients should be treated with respect and spoken to in a calm and professional manner, even when the recommended treatment is extraction rather than a filling. Initially, we were also told that there were no treatment options and that there was nothing she could do. Only after we specifically requested medication for the infection and pain did she prescribe antibiotics and ibuprofen. I will not be returning to this office and will be looking for another dentist. I hope the doctor takes this feedback seriously and improves the way she communicates with patients in the future.

It is very obvious that great lengths are taken to maintain an environment like this. Literally, the building is immaculate (see pictures). So far I've counted at least 7 dental assistants and they all seem to be busy with patients. They are extremely organized and it seems like everyone here is happy. As I write this review on my smartphone, Dr. Vitagliano is walking around right now looking as sharp as mr. Clean, making sure that everything is running smoothly. I'm only 25 years old but when I have kids, I know where I'm taking them. Looking over into the corner, I see that they even use an autoclave machine. Now, I only know what that is because I do biology research, and we use it to sterilize equipment before running experiments. So let me tell you, seeing that they sterilize their equipment with research grade hardware is a very very good sign. They also have a shark tank Now I want to get my teeth done here :(
