Charged over $600 for a consultation and scans that I was assured would be covered. Most unethical practice - absolutely don't go. I filed a complaint with the state as I am not the only one this has happened to. They've reached out to an attorney to collect an outstanding $150 after I already paid over $600 for scans they insisted on doing and was told would be covered. This attorney has been aggressively trying to contact me by reaching out to my place of work and family members... over a bill of $150. I will be paying the bill in order to put this matter to bed and it seems Peter Pruden needs this $150 way more than I do. read more

I think that's it's fair to say that NO ONE likes going to the dentist, and even more so getting a tooth pulled. With this in mind, Dr. Pruden and his staff of professionals do everything in their power to make it a decent, painless and informative experience. Dr. Pruden himself has done two of my teeth extractions and was nothing short of being a total professional and a totally painless experience. I had in the past had a horrid experience with ANOTHER oral surgeon who will remain unsaid here, long story short wisdom teeth stayed in and I.V.'s were ripped out by me and I bolted. Since that day forward I've been very cautious in my selection process and Dr.P came highly recommend by other dentists and oral surgeons. His bedside manner is great, he speaks to you in detail and discusses all of the options. This is a painless experience, and in all to pull the tooth took no more the 3-4 minutes. I took it to small claims court and nasty Marie "office manager" wanted me to come in and pick up release, get notarized, bring back and she would pay me in full. she never called on the day she promised. I was not available the following day. I asked her to mail the paper and I would bring it back notarized for check. she refused. waiting for court date. absolutely disgusting and unethical behavior. my daughter was referred to go there for wisdom teeth removal, LOL -NEVER AGAIN shame on you dr Pruden for having Marie represent you in any way. read more

I had an implant put in by Dr Prudin, paid for it , process took many months...several months after implant put in, it got loose and came out , he informed me the post he uses sometimes doesn't hold(?).....no tooth, no implant and gave me no recourse of rectifying or return of any monies . currently still no implant! read more

Had a cracked and infected molar that needed to be pulled and was causing severe pain and infection was spreading to whole right side of head. Had to continuously take antibiotics to keep it down. Also had a VERY difficult time trying to find an appointment for an extraction with the current Covid restrictions. Called Dr. Pruden's office at 3:30 and had an appointment for 5:00 same day! They were the kindest, most reassuring, caring, pleasant and of course, super experienced and professional, reasonably priced (and took my EDP)....everything I could hope for. I was referred to Dr. Pruden's office by a friend of mine who had recently had his wisdom teeth removed. I was anxious about the procedure, as well as the cost, but I found I was worrying for nothing! Without dental insurance, I was able to secure a Discount dental plan that Dr. Pruden accepts, and then opened a Care Credit account in order to pay it off interest free. Can't get better than that! The office answered all questions I had regarding the discount plan and how it works with their office. Dr. Pruden was away so I saw his associate Dr. Maimone and felt more than comfortable. Have been going to Dr Pruden for more yrs than I'd like to know. He is the best but WATCH YOUR MONEY!! I had my 3rd implant done there and it got infected and had to be removed. My insurance company accidently Pruden's office altho i had pd them. Eventually, they did send me the check from my insurance co. It has been 6 months and my gums/bone needed time to heal. Meantime during my last dentist visit(been going to her for 35yrs) noticed the tooth behind next to the missing implant was in bad shape & we discussed that it would make more sense for a permanent bridge. I called Marie (office manager) to ask for a partial payment since i had no implant but he did do his best & spent time with me. However, she turned it over to Jennifer in billing who said the ins co pd me so I have no right to that money. I said my dentist was going to put the claim thru insurance for the tooth that was going to be an implant as well as the tooth next to it and the insurance co surely was not going to pay 2x for the same tooth. She said I am not entitled because i have been reimbursed. I ask what if i didnt have insurance? She said then we would partially refund you. SO THE BILLER AT PRUDEN'S OFFICE AND THE OFFICE MANAGER DECIDE THE OFFICE GETS TO KEEP FULL FEE EVEN THO I HAVE NO IMPLANT AND EVEN THO THE INSURANCE CO WILL DENY PART OF THE NEXT CLAIM WITH THE DENTIST. go somewhere where they will give you a partial refund based on what you paid them and not what the insurance co paid you. read more

I have to say that was not my experience. I thought the receptionists were just awful.They were busy eating their lunch and talking to each other. I asked specific questions and they seemed annoyed to be interrupted. I had wisdom tteth removed and the pain was intense and lasted for a week with very little support from office other than 1 call from the doctor. I felt like I was left to my own devices. Not good. No bedside manner. Yanked and tugged at the tooth-very painful. Very stark, cold and clinical setting. He gave me Vicodin for pain and I asked him if I would be able to do my very physical job the next morning if I took it that night and he said that it would be no problem. I had to call into work sick the side effects were so bad. Overall, a very bad experience that made me question my dentist who recommended him. read more

I have had work done by Dr Pruden to prepare for an implant and all I can say is that he is an excellent dentist I wouldn't go anyplace else. He is gentle and knowledgeable about the procedure which is an extremely difficult as i see it especially a front tooth. I had a little bit of discomfort and pressure and the dental technician immediately alerted the doctor and additional novocaine was administered. Making my experience painless and as pleasant as a dental procedure could be. I totally trust Dr Pruden and feel that he is informative and listens to his patients making them feel very comfortable with him as a dentist. His staff also demonstrates the same level of caring and try very hard to meet the needs of the patient to make it as painless and comfortable as possible. The assistant was very friendly. They do not always answer there phone during business hours. No bedside manner, I was so nervous, and they didn't seem to care. Dr. Pruden didn't even introduce himself and just shoved his fingers in my mouth. After the procedure he was just on to the next. My son needed to have seven teeth pulled! Four wisdom teeth and three molars. I was very concerned how he would handle this experience and whether the recovery would be difficult. Dr. Pruden was so considerate and professional. He explained the process and the possibilities of what might or might not occur very clearly. We decided to go ahead and do all the teeth at once. Everything turned out great. The recovery was without problems and the office called to check on my sons comfort and progress.
