Hemingway Brunch was a very pleasant surprise! Our group of 7 had brunch here on a Saturday morning and we didn't have to wait long to be seated. The restaurant is super cute on the inside and my group was able to take some great pictures while waiting. Our server (sorry, can't remember his name) was the best! I started with the Espresso Martini and it was one of the best drinks I've ever had. The other guests had the Bailey's Cream (w/coffee) and Cranberry Mimosa and they were delicious also! I had the Meat Lovers Omelet w/breakfast potatoes and pancakes. Everything was so yummy and I loved that they brought out warm syrup with the pancakes. This place was great. The service was amazing, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was amazing. Around my table we got the Oreo panned, the cinnaholic pancakes, the avocado omelet, the chicken fried steak, the country Benny, the California Benny, and the French Benny. Everyone loved their food and it came out quickly. Definitely get in line before you show up even if it says there's not a big line. Definitely helps with a larger groups so they can know they have to set up larger room. read more

Initial impressions really make a lasting impression. My sister had been here before and said it was a great place for breakfast. Upon entering a supposed host greeted us and then went on her way doing something at the front and didn't care about communicating with us what was going on. A number of people who looked like waitstaff even flew by us, looked at our group and disappeared just as quick. Not sure what was going on and left me a bit confused. When we were seated our waitress came over. A couple of misses but overall a very solid experience with her. If it weren't for the awkwardness at the beginning this would've been a great experience. I ordered the southern Benedict which basically was biscuits with a sausage gravy and a side of mixed greens. It was good but wasn't amazing. The dish was certainly filling but at the end just tasted like a run of the mill meal. Not sure I would be back though. The convenience of location outweighs the quality of service and food. I'm not too familiar with the area but I would search further out as I'm sure there are plenty of other places close by. read more

Came here with some family for my birthday and the waiter, Bryan, saw my birthday card on the table and brought out an extra special birthday surprise at the end of the meal! So nice! But we will get to that at the end... To start with, I got a Cafe Americano with caramel to drink- yummy! For food, my husband and I got two omelettes that we shared- Bacon Avocado and the Hemingway. They were both great! The sides were plentiful and we were so super full- fluffy pancakes, juicy fruit, hot biscuits, and potatoes. Sister-in-law also ordered the Hemingway omelette- she loved it. Have been here so many times. Was so sad.. asked for an order of hash browns, $4, and they brought out greasy McDonalds hash brown patties. :-( actually the ones McDonalds serves are better. This place is my go-to brunch spot for so many reasons, a few being how beautiful it is inside and all the delicious menu items they have! I always get something different when I go, except for the lemon poppyseed pancakes, which they serve with lemon curd. It's absolutely a must-get and worth the upgrade on any side pancakes you get. This place gets pretty busy on weekends especially holiday weekends and since there isn't a reservation system I recommend seeing if they opened their Yelp waitlist and putting your name down early. They do try to get you seated as soon as possible and get your orders in quickly so you can eat! read more

Although it is a sandwich, it is akin to ordering French toast with a side of ham. I appreciated the raspberry sauce on the side, so I could apply as little or as much as I wanted it. But the only reason I rate this very low is because we had to wait for about an hour or more to not only receive our food but also to order taking a very long time. My fiancé and I tried Hemingway Brunch around Christmas time 2022 and for some reason I did not write a review after that delicious meal. My girlfriends and I went a couple of weekends ago and it was just as awesome! It is a clean restaurant with a continual flow of brunch seekers. PRO TIP: get in line on Yelp, check in when you get to the restaurant and you will be seated fairly quickly rather than getting at the end of the line when you arrive! If you enter the number of people and the desired time Yelp will even send you a notification when it is time to get in line! I wish all businesses did this! I ordered the French eggs Benedict on my first visit - I hadn't ever seen eggs Benedict on a croissant before. It had ham, Swiss cheese, poached eggs and hollandaise. It was excellent - so much that I nearly ordered the same thing on my next visit! I decided to branch out on visit #2 and ordered avocado toast. It was whole wheat toast, avocado, pickled red onion, feta cheese, everything spice with two poached eggs. It was really, really good but was missing something. It needed some zing to it. Don't get me wrong, I would absolutely order it again! One of my friends ordered the Garden Breakfast Bowl and chose biscuits as her side. Both looked amazing! The bowl was huge and my teeny tiny little friend ate the entire thing! She was NOT sharing those biscuits (or the bowl) though, so I ordered a side of biscuits (2 per order) and shared with my other friend. Clean and bright, with plenty of space. Our waiter was so friendly, and was very helpful when I was indecisive on my food choice. The latte was perfectly steamed, and had a nice warm rich flavor. I love a good find, and this is our new favorite go-to brunch spot. Ambiance chic but not over the top. Loved their photo wall, totally insta worthy. I'm a bar person, I just don't like to risk poor service, and we were not disappointed. Lavender mimosas are a thing, and now my thing! Unique and refreshing. I had the Salmon Benny. This is like hot sauce at a Mexican restaurant. If this isn't good, everything else will suck. Not tye case. Passed the test with flying colors. My daughter had the Short rib hash bowl. Good portion and hit the spot. We also tried the Lemon Berry pancakes, I will be dreaming about these until the next time, and the Cinnabomb, delicious, but the lemon rocked my world. I went here with some friends one Saturday for brunch. It is a quaint place inside a strip center. Gives off that diner vibe but with modern seating and ambiance. I got the Biscuits `N Gravy, which I do not remember how much this was. It comes with 2 eggs cooked your way, I chose over easy and they were cooked perfectly. Hemingway is for everyone..... they have an extensive menu and drinks to compliment your entree. The food is bland. Needed both salt and pepper. Being a Louisiana girl I understand food will never match our flavors in many places however this could be a gift to meet dietary needs. The ambiance was nice I was able to dine and chat with my friend and didn't have to yell over blasting music. Pleasant treat. Our waitress was a true delight smiles and attentive to our needs. I have dined in multiple times and also used takeout. There is a huge difference when you order takeout, the ladies in the front do not care about you if you placed a to go order. They are not friendly and they do not treat you the same as a person that dined in. They happily greet the dine in customers and say thank you when you leave, but you don't get any of that treatment when you have placed a to go order. You have to wait long time for someone to take your order because they have to find a waiter willing to answer the phone, then you have to wait for that waiter to take your card to pay for your food when you arrive at the restaurant. I have stood there 10-15mins waiting for the waiter and the ladies in the front jut give you a nasty look while you wait. Can they designate a person for to-go orders or don't accept phone orders at all when the service is this bad. read more

Went with some friends for a nice brunch and the biggest problem we had was deciding what we wanted, because everything sounded good. I ended up getting the garden breakfast bowl and I was very pleased. The potatoes were flavorful and the eggs were perfectly sunny side up. I watched my server draw on the chalkboards up at the front, despite being asked for more coffee and the pancakes she forgot that were supposedly "just coming out." My missing pancakes didn't show up for an additional 20 minutes after the rest of my food, and my replacement coffee didn't come back for an extra 5 after that, right as we were getting the check.
