So here is my updated review…read more As far as staff, everybody was very cordial, polite, and showed up on time. Denise specifically had a great vision for what she wanted to do. That was appreciated. We were having our pantry and kitchen reorganized because we just have so much stuff and it made it very difficult to have any somewhat of organization. Denise, another staff member showed up at 9 AM to get started. Forgive me my mind is fried I forgot her name. Things started slow, which is understandable because there needs to be some two-way communication on how things are going to be and how we wanted it to go. Once things got going, we took a step back and let them do their thing. There was a bit of miscommunication on how things were specifically being charged per hour. We had an understanding in our estimate that 10 hours at $100 an hour was what we were budgeting for. $1000. As things progressed, I asked a question regarding how late they were staying since things seem like they were moving a little slow. I was told they were working from 9 AM to 2 PM which is five hours. So the miscommunication was that I was being quoted 10 hours With five hours for each person coming. That's where there was a miscommunication. I do not believe it was on purpose. I think it was just one of those things that wasn't clearly discussed. I can take partial blame for not asking the question, but I made an assumption. The girls stayed an extra two hours to try to finish the pantry. So the kitchen portion was not even addressed. And reach out to the boss Cathy, I explained where there was some confusion. Once it was explained that we were essentially paying $200 an hour for two people to be here we quickly hit our budget limit, which did not allow for a secondary follow up for the kitchen. The girls did their best to get the pantry finished as possible. There were many items that were still left out that we were told we could now figure out where those could go. The pantry is re-organized much better than it was before absolutely. Was it a $12-$1300 worth job? No based on many other estimates we had received this was the highest we had had. But based on recommendations we wanted to go with a group that had a background that seemed to have a strong foundation in this area. This is not personal, Cathy, Denise, and everyone else were spectacular people and I do not believe that there was the slightest intent for the miscommunication on cost. Again, the pantry looks much better than it did before, but there was also a bit of unutilized space considering so many things were left out. That seemed to come from the fact that Denise needed to rework things that the second staff member had done prior. As stated before, Denise seem to have a better vision and honestly may have done a better job on her own. Communication with Cathy is fine. She did try to address the issue by giving us a slight break on how we were paying, but I did make it clear. We definitely could not afford a follow up at what was being charged. My recommendation is this. If you're looking for someone to do a house move or to deal with a hoarding situation or an overloaded garage where you just need a ton of things moved out, boxed up and gotten rid of. They are the perfect solution. If you're looking for someone to re-organize kitchen cabinets, drawers pantry space , this might not be the best choice due to cost alone. They appear to be a fantastic company that does show empathy and care but I think due to the cost loan we would not be able to utilize them again. If you're on a budget, you may have to look elsewhere. Again, if you were doing a major move or you need to clean out the top overloaded area to get things moved out and gotten rid of. They are definitely the ones you want to call. For future in-house re-organization we would have to go with a different option that's more affordable within a budget. $100 an hour per person is just a bit much for the average homeowner. I do think Cathy for her communication and attempts to make things right. Most businesses won't even bother with that. She showed integrity. Again I believe there was just a unclear miscommunication regarding the cost. Having multiple staff on site at the same time. Question apparently I should have asked, but just did not think too. I'm giving them four stars based on the fact that I think they definitely meant well and Denise really did do exceptional work in the time she had especially considered. She was reworking things that had been done prior.

She is simply amazing. I will be moving again next year to live with my son in Missouri. I am definitely planning on hiring her to pack up my house for the move. I wish I could take her to Missouri with me to unpack my house as well. She is truly a gem.

Absolutely Outstanding from Design to Installation!…read more We could not be happier with our new office from Closet Factory. The finished space is absolutely beautiful and, just as importantly, incredibly functional. Every detail feels intentional and customized specifically for how we use our office. Our designer, Ana, was amazing to work with. She was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the entire process. She really listened to what we needed and guided us through the design choices without ever making us feel rushed. Her recommendations on the colors, textures, cabinetry, wood finishes, lighting, and overall layout were perfect. Everything works together beautifully. What impressed us most was the attention given to functionality. Ana designed specific areas to house our printers, office equipment, supplies, files, and everyday work items so that everything has a place. The expansive custom work surface gives us plenty of room, while the cabinetry provides an incredible amount of storage without making the office feel crowded. The full-extension soft-close drawers, floating shelves, under-cabinet lighting, and custom cabinetry are details we appreciate every single day. The installation team was equally exceptional. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding. They took their time to make sure everything was installed properly and treated our home with tremendous care. We had just installed brand-new flooring the week before, and they went above and beyond to protect it throughout the entire installation. When the job was finished, they thoroughly cleaned everything and left the office immaculate. From the design process through the final installation, this was truly an exceptional experience. The finished office is even better than we envisioned--beautiful, organized, functional, and completely customized to our needs. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would recommend Closet Factory, Ana, and the installation team without hesitation. Five stars all the way!

When no one arrived, I texted at 11:15 AM to see if she was on her way. She responded, first saying she assumed I wasn't able to meet. Later, she explained she had a severe migraine and had gone to urgent care. I completely understand that medical emergencies happen. What I don't understand is why I wasn't notified before the appointment. We already had a scheduled appointment, so I was disappointed that no one reached out to let me know she wouldn't be able to make it. Instead, I waited without any communication. I also reached out to the company at 11:15 AM, but four days later I still had not received any follow up. I was ready to move forward with designing three closets, but the lack of communication from both the designer and the company did not give me confidence to trust the process

Even now, I can find the most obscure item in under a minute -- it's a gift that keeps paying off every single day. Recently, I hired them again to organize my office storage room, and it was somehow even more incredible. Without the emotional attachment factor, the transformation was fast and unbelievably efficient. What would have taken me at least a month took them just six hours. Six hours! Amy, the owner, is exceptional. She is kind, thoughtful, and so easy to be around -- truly good company during the process. She has an incredible ability to help you make decisions without pressure and offers the best, most practical advice. Her systems actually work and are sustainable. I genuinely wish I could hire them to organize my entire house. If you are even thinking about it, do it. It is one of the best investments you can make for your sanity and daily life. My parents were empty nesters, and childhood bedrooms had turned into storage units for endless amounts of clothing, and other items that had accumulated over the years. Denikka & Joshua Maly were energetic, and delightful to work with. They worked non-stop for 2 days, 8 hours each day, to help donate, dispose of and organize pretty much every item. It's not something I could have done by myself without taking a month off of work. They helped me go through an enormous amount of clothing, furniture, and old knickknacks, and sorted things into piles that were easy to keep track of. They also packed up some old china with great care and expertise. They even scheduled the local charity for a pickup! They were supportive, considerate, patient and fun throughout the entire time. At the end of it all, the formerly scary-cluttered house was perfectly organized. Old beds were broken down into mattresses and disassembled frames. We had many, many big garbage bags full of items - some for the landfill, some full of clothes to donate - a great deal of flattened cardboard, and all the old furniture cleaned and polished, gleaming, for the local charity. Yes, Denikka & Joshua not only emptied all those old dressers and shelves, ** they polished them. ** My only regret is that I can't give them ten stars. D-Clutter gets my highest recommendation.
