I contacted Jodi Ryder, I told her my girlfriend situation, within one day she gave us options regarding a second loan on my girlfriend house. Jodi was honest and she explain the process. Than, Ashely Gollick took over the process, and she walked me thru the process of what we needed to submit. At that time, my girlfriend credit was jumping from 690 to 715. After getting the second loan, paying all debts her credit scored jumped to 755 within one month (June 2024). Ashley set up everything to make the process smooth, painless, and always ready to answer questions. Loan closed May 28, 2024 and my girls had her loan money in the bank within 3 days. (See credit score screenshot) Jodi and Ashley have always told me that they do their best to close loans in one month, and they have been correct. Jodi and Ashley helped me back in 2012 to reduced my VA loan from a 5 or 6 % to 3.5% and everything was completed in one month. 2014, Jodi and Ashley helped me refinance cash out on my house and lower my interest rate to 3.25% and processed completed in one month. Additionally, back in 2022 my girlfriend lower her interest and did a cash out refinance on her house and she has a 2.5%, all in one month. Jodi and Ashley, and the entire team go beyond their work, honest personnel, and ready to answer any questions. My girlfriend has been very pleased with their work, and helping her relieve stress from making financial decisions. If I could, I would give more than 5 stars to Ryder Mortgage Group.     My lender sent me an email about a down payment assistance program. I quickly Googled it and…read morestumbled upon the Home Loan Artist website. I filled out what appeared to be a waitlist for the program itself, but I received an email from this Brad individual saying he was going to contact me to go over prequalifying for a mortgage. I responded back saying no thank you and that I was apparently mistaken as to what I filled out, so no need to contact me. Attached is the (completely unnecessary) response I received. I just wanted to put this out there for other like-minded people who want to know the kind of person they are dealing with when making what is, for most, the biggest purchase of their lives. As to his response on this review - I was neither upset nor seeking his assistance. This email and his responses to other negative feedback speak for themselves. Judging by some of the other negative reviews, it sounds like he is quicker to respond to someone who ISN'T interested in his services than others who are. Good luck to you and that chip on your shoulder.

I set up an appointment online for Friday April 27th at 3:30 PM and received several email confirmations of this appointment. Friday came and went, I tried calling and received no response until 9 PM when he emailed me to say he was sorry he was unable to speak with me and offered to reschedule the appointment. Don't ask me how it took 5.5 hours for him to communicate that he could not make the appointment despite the multiple email confirmations I received from his business. I was going to give him the benefit of the doubt but today AGAIN he did not follow through or answer my call during the scheduled appointment time. Again, I received multiple emails confirming the date and time. All I can think of is he does not need the business and is running a very unprofessional organization. Very disappointing considering all the good views I had seen.

    The Wildomar location is fantastic, and I like that there are real people with desks and not a…read moretraditional bank counter. The app is fantastic. I docked a star for the stupid Elite Checking fee, which is $6 per month. I don't really use Frontwave as a bank, more as a placeholder in case I need a loan, so I don't leave much money in my checking. Having at least $2,500 in one's checking waives the fee. I called to have the Elite Checking Account downgraded to "Everyday Checking" but after a half-hour wait the person was unable to access the computer, allegedly. I wonder why there's so much call volume? Maybe it's that sneaky upgrade and $6 a month charge? Either way, it's a good credit union overall with GREAT people at the Wildomar location, but upgrading everyone to the "Elite" checking account without asking was not a good move. They should have left me with the fee-free checking since I obviously don't use the account at all, hardly. **UPDATE** I drove to the local branch and the nice employee not only switched me to free checking, she refunded the $12 I paid unwittingly for the upgraded checking account I didn't upgrade. She said that anyone can get their money back if they show up at a branch as they can make the initial Elite Checking "promotional", post hoc. Still not glad that they upgraded my checking account but all's well that ends well, right? Thanks!
