The Wildomar location is fantastic, and I like that there are real people with desks and not a traditional bank counter. The app is fantastic. I docked a star for the stupid Elite Checking fee, which is $6 per month. I don't really use Frontwave as a bank, more as a placeholder in case I need a loan, so I don't leave much money in my checking. Having at least $2,500 in one's checking waives the fee. I called to have the Elite Checking Account downgraded to "Everyday Checking" but after a half-hour wait the person was unable to access the computer, allegedly. I wonder why there's so much call volume? Maybe it's that sneaky upgrade and $6 a month charge? Either way, it's a good credit union overall with GREAT people at the Wildomar location, but upgrading everyone to the "Elite" checking account without asking was not a good move. They should have left me with the fee-free checking since I obviously don't use the account at all, hardly. **UPDATE** I drove to the local branch and the nice employee not only switched me to free checking, she refunded the $12 I paid unwittingly for the upgraded checking account I didn't upgrade. She said that anyone can get their money back if they show up at a branch as they can make the initial Elite Checking "promotional", post hoc. Still not glad that they upgraded my checking account but all's well that ends well, right? Thanks! read more

I had trouble with my new debit card that I have never used, I got redirected to the fraud department who couldn't even find my account in their system, then got disconnected from another person, and finally got help by Kai, everyone else who "tried helping" me with my card trouble truly sucks at their job. Been banking with Frontwave for a while now, even when it was Pacific Marine CU. This new location is convenient because I live in Menifee so it's nice to have a closer branch. I used to go to the Temecula locations. This location is implementing a new customer service approach in which instead of a bank reception window between the banker and the customer, there is just a table and a computer. This gives it a more approachable feel which is awesome! Also you can expect to be offered a water bottle or some coffee with your visit . Customer service here is great and the location is good also. Might even get myself one of the Frontwave shirts they have for sale inside . But overall great bank, and great bank location. read more

Terrible bank. I am writing this review for the banking institution itself, not this specific location necessarily. This location has to be terrible too because it is Frontwave CU. This review is for your benefit to save you from hours of frustration and money loss. I will be semi-brief here, as there are many, many reasons why this institution is the worst out of all banks. -Random charges to credit card for no reason (from the bank, not an outside fraudulent charge). -Late fees for fake charges -Call center to answer calls that does not have ability to answer questions, will give you the runaround. -discontinued our auto withdraw for no reason, then charged late charges because the auto draw they discontinued. -Trying to pay off our auto loan with them in full was a nightmare. -Online banking is terrible, their website is the worst. I have 5 bank accounts, and this one is just terrible in all aspects. Save yourself time, money and frustration, and bank with a legitimate institution, not this train-wreck of a "credit union".
