I wanted to wait until my case was completely finished to write this review. I have had a few experiences with Lawyers and sometimes things go south, I was holding my breath with Mr. Hunt. From the first phone conversation to the most recent I have always been blown away! From the front office staff to Mr. Hunt you will not find a rude person in this office! You are not treated like a case number! It was extremely refreshing to be treated like an actual person that mattered!!!! I was unsure if Mr. Hunt would take my Social Security case, I had been denied at the initial level. I was in my early thirties when I applied. So many things stacked against me and yet I was too sick to work. I tried many times and was unsuccessful in keeping a job long term. Mr. Hunt reassured me each step that we were going to be successful and to keep the faith. He encouraged me to keep fighting. We appealed and were denied again. We filed for a hearing. It took a very long time to get a court date. Then the court date was months away. I never had to wonder if my attorneys office was keeping up. They updated me each step of the way and answered my numerous questions. I loved hat I did not get lip service, if the person I was speaking with did not have an answer they let me know and ALWAYS returned my call or email. We were successful at our hearing. I felt very well prepared when going into the hearing, I knew what to expect and how to handle myself the best I could. Tears of relief flowed when I got the approval news! Mr. Hunt helped me know what was next and the approximate timeline of everything. I know that it is ultimately up to the judge if your case will be approved. I was referred by a friend of a friend who had helped them out a couple years ago with success. I know there are a ton of choices and didn't want to take my chances of getting someone good or not bc I've heard horror stories. Needless to say, Eric Hunt and his staff are exceptional. Friendly, on the ball and professional and very easy to work with. They explained the process and put my mind at ease that they would handle things. I had been turned down 3 times by disability bc of my age and education and had to have a hearing. It was a long shot but Eric Hunt met was VERY PREPARED and had complied over 400 pages of documents and notes on my case on a usb drive he provided to the court and also had many hand written pages of highlight notes on my case. He fought for me and was a badass. He's such a sweet man and is a great combo of badass and sweet. He genuinely cares about his clients and knows the process isn't always exactly fair but he works hard and today he called me personally to tell me that I have won my judgment and will receive my disability after more than 4 years of waiting and fighting! If I had the option to add more stars for Eric Hunt and his team I would! In 2002 I was injured at work. 19yrs. later it came back to haunt me requiring a shoulder surgery. When I was unable to get better after my surgery my surgeon didn't understand because other patients that have this specific surgery got better but it instead things got worse. At that point he didn't know what to do. He told me I needed to go see a specialist. After being passed around from specialist to specialist with multiple diagnosis my primary care doctor made a recommendation that I file for SSDI. The original application was denied. I then filed for a reconsideration. At that point I decided to get an attorney. I called a few but there was one specific attorney that had the nerve to tell me that he couldn't take my case because I was not taking enough drugs. I told him I don't do well with pain medication they make me super sick. He told me that I needed to go back to my doctors and ask them for different drugs other than Norco but I didn't have to take them. Just make sure to pick them up at pharmacy to make sure they are documented in my file. After he reviewed my case he called me back and told me that he COULD NOT take my case because he said he said my case would be denied because I basically don't take enough drugs and thats what the judges look at. He told me that my case would be a waste of his time and it wasn't worth it. That attorney was CRAIG A. FAHEY. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND him for Social Security Disability. I would not recommend him for anything. I ended up filing my my own reconsideration at that point and of course I was denied again. My doctors told me I needed to hire an attorney I was so skeptical due to what Craig H Fahey said about my case. I ended up filing for my appeal first then I started to call around to other attorneys and after speaking to ERIC R. HUNT I decided to hire him as my attorney. Our conversation was amazing he made me feel 100% confident as he felt the same. His staff was absolutely amazing. Very easy to work with, communication was perfect, responded to emails fast and messages were returned within minutes or hours. ERIC. HUNT was awesome! Very knowledgable and very positive about my case. He communicated with me only a few times throughout the process but when he did call he knew everything. I had over 800 medical records that his staff had to gather up and he had to read all of it to fully understand my case. The appeal with the judge was so easy and went just as he explained. Eric Hunt and personnel did a awesome job in my case. I just had my appeal (favorable thank you God). When the judge asked me questions I was extremely nervous to the point where I went blank and Eric Hunt helped me to regroup, Mr. Hunt ask the same questions but in a way I could understand.
