TBH it was average to frank. Compared to the other poke places in Redmond (which isn't much) it was decent for the price. Depending on the size of the bowl of protein choices the cost will run about ($12-15) per bowl. Fish was prepared decently and the service was the same. I loved the poke bowl I got here! Fresh, tasty, filling and didn't break the bank. I got the spicy tuna and added most of the add ins. Speaking of add ins, there are a lot of choices! This can be both good and bad - bad because choices can be overwhelming. Good because that means more items to add to your bowl. Everything is labeled so that makes it easy to know what is what as you're moving down the "assembly line" to get your bowl prepared. I also got a spam musubi (haven't tried it yet) and I wish they had Mac salad (maybe they'll add it soon?!). For two bowls and a musubi was $30. Bonus: they are next door to Hoffman's so you can get your dessert fix! Though I got my order to go, there was plenty of seating during the lunch rush and service was quick and prompt. read more

I love, love love love Hello Poke on Cleveland Street! First of all, it is clean, and simply full of Aloha! The poke is fresh and oh so pretty. The citrus ponzu dressing is crazmazing and perfectly refreshing on a warm summer night. They have spam musubis and Hawaiian beverages, just like at the general stores in Maui. The employees are so sweet and hard working. One of them even came looking for me on foot when I forgot my phone in their restroom, and caught up to me a couple of blocks up the street! Bad: The fish smell in this place. It's pretty bad. Some poke places do come with a fish smell for scale but this place was the worst I've encountered. If you're sensitive to that kind of thing- get it as takeaway. I definitely had a bad effect on mine and overall, a spot that smells like dead fish is going to be perceived as unsanitary. Went there today for lunch and was very satisfied! I've had poke before but not in bowl form with rice and other toppings, so I wasn't sure what the best mix would be. I asked for recommendations for finishing sauces and the server was very polite and helpful. If I could go back and do anything over, I would select a few more crunchy add-ons to mix up the texture a bit more, but the flavors were great. Before leaving, I decided to get a couple macarons for dessert (one green tea and one strawberry) and both were delicious. Total, with the bottled drink, I spent about $18. So, this is a pricier option. If I wanted a poke fix more regularly, I would of course skip dessert and bring a water bottle, because the price of a regular bowl is around $10. And considering what you're getting, it's very well priced. read more

The portion was generous and flavor was big! Everything seemed fresh. I took off a star because I was not a fan of how the spicy tuna was served - mushed up like it is in sushi. I've ordered spicy tuna elsewhere as poke and they still keep the tuna in chunks. If you order the regular tuna (non-spicy) they serve it in chunks. This is merely a personal texture preference. I had poke for the first time in Vegas and it was absolutely delicious. I returned from my trip and craved poke so I visited Hello Poke. Maybe it was I built it myself instead of a preselected one, but it wasn't as good as the one in Vegas. I'm pretty sure I ordered the same ingredients but it wasn't the same. One great thing about Hello Poke is that they have chicken as a protein option. I've looked at other poke menus and chicken, pork, nor beef were ever an option. So it's been hard to convince people who didn't like seafood or tofu to go to poke restaurants. But it was easy to convince them to try Hello Poke since ethey have chicken. This is probably the best poke I've had so far in life. Price is very reasonable, you pay for a regular with 2 choices of protein and the rest you can add as much as you want without extra cost except for avocado. Food is very fresh and not heavy at all but does leave you satisfied. I would have to warn you that it may be addicting so beware of coming back multiple times.
