One of the worst experience I had. Ordered veg. Biryani never mentioned to be spicy and Gobi Manchurian. Guess what its loaded with Spice.. extremely spicy food. Saw other customers sitting in other tables talking about same thing. Everyone running to counter to grad a soda or water or whatever. Looks like these guys are smart in stuffing you with whole lot of spicy sh.. and sell you drinks.. Gobi Manchurian is supposed to be GOBI what they gave is a mashed up gobi you cannot see Gobi in that form. Worst .. If you still want to try .. mention "NO NO NO SPICE". My first visit to hello India was satisfying. Yummy food and amazing hospitality. Felt as if I was in Hyderabad. I started it with hot Mirchi bajji and Irani chai. Tasted exactly how it should be 5/5 for both. Followed by Pepper chicken as an appetizer along with Chicken and Mutton biryani. Yummy delicious. 10/10. Must visit place for Biryani lovers. Although the store has nice products, a little more organization wouldn't hurt. I spend so much of my valuable time trying to locate small items and it takes forever. Customer service here is a bit too unorganized as well. When we called to place an order, we noticed a 30 min wait but small lines. They also don't have customer assistance as well. read more

This place has gone from being really good to being worst. Repeated mistakes with orders - Missed items, replaced items, uncooked food are just a few to name. My last order just hit the nail in coffin as they just completely messed up my order by mixing some rice with korma as Biryani. I have never seen such thing anywhere. Currently, they have lot of customers so obviously they don't care but this is the beginning of the end. Never going to order from here now onwards. Hyderabadi Irani Chai is a must have item in this place, I don't think any other Indian place in Dallas has this. The food is amazing and I hope they don't lose the quality of it as time goes. They are still stocking up on the grocery but have promised to be up and running in a week. The ambiance is soothing and the staff is very friendly. read more

The customer service here was very bad and unreceptive. It took 5 minutes for someone to come to checkout just to buy groceries. I also purchased some food and they served the people that ordered after me, before me. When I inquired about why I didn't receive my food, the whole staff had no response and told me to wait 5 more minutes, while all the customers behind me were getting their food served. read more

Hello new favorite cafe! Yesterday was my second time eating here .. this place was a 50 mile drive and I came with a hankering for boneless chicken biryani. Sadly, we were informed that on Monday's they have limited selection and there was only dum biryani. Way to feel "dum" going all that way with a craving and no satisfaction. The young man saw my disappointment and showed me compassion in the greatest way. He said I'll make it for you. He left the register and personally cooked my food. It did take a while but totally worth the wait! Was expertly done and flavor packed!! I nearly did not want to disclose that in a review so you all don't go bother my friend to make you things that are not available but I needed to express gratitude in this public display for what he did. =] read more

Best and only place that serves Hyberabadi Irani Chai in town! It was a perfect end to our meal today. We ordered some harabara kebabs and sheek kebabs with fresh naan.. they were sooo good! And the tea was complimentary... #Awesomeness! Definitely a one stop store for groceries, halal meat and sumptuous kebabs and flavorful Hyderabadi biryani! Great place and great food... in a place like Irving with so many Indian restaurants to choose from this place is. A definite stand out. I have had really good service when I went here and their Irani Chai is till date the best chai I have had in the States. The wait time on getting the food from taking to order to putting food on your table is very less and the best thing I like about this place(unlike others which just make us wait for long). We had our daughter's birthday party and ordered catering for 130 people. Everybody at the party said that the food was really good. I can't get enough of this place! The Iranian Tea is perfect!!!!! But Honestly the customer service is what blew me away. I visited Hello India! a week or so ago with a couple of my buddies for quick South Indian snacks which btw they do amazingly the vada with mint chutney delicious!!! But back to the customer service as I was saying my buddies and I were outside chatting one of the employees brought us a plate with 6 cups of chai complimentary!!!
