So excited to try this place! We do not live close to here but was around the area. The place is super cute and clean. Nice open patio with plenty of space. Right when you walk in you see all the amazing looking bakery items such as mochi donuts and cake. My daughter got the blue Hawaiian lemonade, chicken sandwich, and hurricane fries. She loved it and I stole some fries which were yum. The reason for one less star is I was a bit disappointed in my bulgogi lava noodle bowl. It had way too much sauce and looked nothing like the picture where it wasn't drenched in sauce. I ate about half of it and regretted not getting the other Noodle bowl. The guy next to me got the same and had same opinions. I hope they branch out to more cities. read more

The facility is clean, bright, colorful, and enjoyed the Hawaiian vibe. My group had four rice bowls, three with the crispy chicken. All were served cold, not even room temp. The temp did not allow the flavors to come out. One in our group had a sandwich which was warm and flavorful. Another customer said the potato salad included noodles and way too much mayo. Prices are high for what you get. I will probably return but only get a sandwich. Had to wait ten minutes between the first in our party to get their food and the next in our group. I've ate here twice once for dinner once for breakfast. The flavor of everything was pretty alright. Nothing to write home about for how much it cost. It does have different food from anything around here which is nice if you wanna change it up. I really liked their donuts. Weird texture but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The first time I went here for dinner the service was eh, but the guy in the drive thru the second time for breakfast really helped me and had great customer service. I appreciated him, it made my experience here much better. This is one of the places I'd come back to just every once in awhile. read more

So far, so good. I didn't realize they were in a soft-open state, so don't be surprised about the partial menu. I enjoyed sliders, a rice bowl, cake, and the spam sushi. Dropped by to test, but I'll be back again. Two things strike me, I enjoy the option of a rice bowl to mix up the usual fast food fair and get something a little healthier. I also see that most of their food is pretty difficult to eat on the go in the car! Even the sliders are chocked full of stuff and continually drop pieces back into the box (hopefully). Really wanted to try the Lava Steak Bowl but was informed that all the Lava sauce had been used for sliders to be made that morn. I could have the sliders if I wanted to try em. Nah, I'm not really one for tiny little sliders. Shame they did not put some sauce on the side to make the other offered item that does sell for more $$. I settled for the Hello Hilo bowl and it was very tasty. 3 meat types gives you the chance to taste 2 types of thier Chicken and a Kalua Pulled Pork. Lots of rice, fruit, an almost desert type of potato mac salad and tomatoes diced. It is NOT all mixed up in the bowl. it is segregated properly so you can pick what bite you want and really enjoy it. The Pog drink was a bit sweet for me but it was not overpowering. Glad it was small. Wife had the Huki Huli Chicken and a Pog drink she really liked them both. The breakfast Burrito sounds right down my alley if they can 86 the Spam. I spent enough time in Korea and personnally Spam is not my go to meat. I'd take steak substituted and be glad to pay another $1 just to try it out. Prices are a little bit high. What isn't nowadays? The staff seemed to be having a lot of fun as they were pretty noisy, giggling n all that sort of thing. Almost Day Care noisy at one point. I guess maybe mngmt hushed em up a bit. This restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing. I really like the layout and the nice patio they have outside. The entrees were honestly okay. I feel like the portions were small for the high price. I will say that the desserts are very delicious. I've only tried the mochi donuts, malasadas, and cookies. The service was great as well. They were only conducting a soft opening so they only had a few items on the menu. They also don't offer any Military Discounts. The food was average at best. Probably won't stop here again. Not the 4 or 5 items they were offering, we tried the Loco Moco which was uninspiring and drowning in gravy. The Mochiko Chicken was better but not something I would really want to order again. Ive spent a lot of time in Oahu in the Military and never ate any food like this before. The environment feels more like a donut shop when you first walk in. Hopefully there Teriyaki sliders will be better when they start offering those? They bring your order to your table but they failed to bring any plastic ware or straws so they are obviously still in training. We'll try again after they've been open a few months and have their processes nailed down. When we requested a manager we were told there wasn't one but I could speak to the lead trainer who looked like he was 14. They didn't seem to have a senior Manager or trainer on duty. read more
