Absolutely amazing super friendly staff, good atmosphere, and amazing food. I usually get the "pick 2" meal.

12/10 food, service, & atmosphere! I am so happy downtown Flowery Branch has such an authentic, delicious option, that's also owned and operated by the sweetest people! This will definitely be our go-to spot from now on. Everything was homemade, SO fresh, and flavorful! We had the tea, spring rolls, chicken tenders, garden salad, Oxtail Pho, Ghang Phet and we can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. Even the side sauces were to die for. Shoutout to Seth for being so helpful and welcoming during our first visit, thank you!

Talk about home cook meal, this is the best Laos/thai food I've had for a long time. It's authentic and so amazing. Everything was incredible and the portion was plenty. I'd recommend anyone to try it out and you will know what authentic Thai food tastes like. Love the place too. So adorable and clean. You will thank me! Here is my favorite dessert here!

Best Lao food in Gwinnett! The servers were amazing! Very attentive and knowledgeable about items on the menu and explain very well to customers who never had Lao food before. The restaurant was clean with lovely lao/thai music playing in the background. Definitely recommend to those trying to explore especially during Lao New Year!

The owners of this casual establishment are very friendly, personable, and obviously in the business to feed you well! Everything is very flavorful and delicious. So happy they are in downtown flower branch, and open seven days a week!

Went with friends who live in the area for lunch today. Absolutely 10/10 for this establishment. The family has lived in the area and attended local schools for 2 generations. The front was being run by a brother and sister duo and helped by a niece. Service was top notch and they were very patient with our questions about the menu. We ordered a pick 2 for 12.50 each meal. You have a huge choice from which to pick that even includes a choice of mango sticky rice dessert. We ordered a veggie plate (fried rice and veggie stir fry)and a Lao stick (grilled kind of kebab) + spicy fried rice plate. Both came with a veggie egg roll. We also sampled a kalapao (a stuffed bun very similar to a Vietnamese bao) which was additional 2 dollars. Finished off with a warm and sweet mango sticky rice dessert. The owners are super nice and very helpful since the menu was huge and a bit confusing. But everything was well made and delicious. We will definitely be coming back.

What an amazing little shop!! The food is so good. We got 4 dishes to share for the table and each dish was so good. The dishes are pretty size. Not much to say other than most people that come here will love this place!!

Yeaaahhh this place is the one. I'm visiting from SoCal which has a ton of Thai and Loatian spots, and I have to say, this place could compete with the best of them. A completely hidden gem of a spot. The oxtail pho is phenomenal-- my mom was under the weather and I wanted to treat her to a warm soup. The broth was extremely rich, and the beef balls in the soup cwere homemade and DELICIOUS- LOTS of places use pre-made meatballs but not this one. You can truly taste the love and care in every item. The owner Seth is warm and welcoming, and big props to his mother in law who is the "queen chef" of the establishment. His daughter and wife were also extremely kind and took the time to say hello. This type of place is EXACTLY what Flowery Branch needs, and I hope they get the support they deserve. They're serving amazing foods in a small town, giving "big city" flavor in a place you'd least expect it. Other than the Oxtail soup the 4 item sampler was a standout!I LOVED the papaya salad--I got it Lao spicy, which is real spice with a nice kick. If you're not a fan of spicy, ask for mild. It was washed down with a refreshing lychee and mint soda which I also recommend.

OH MY GOD!!! Amazing! We tried the Nam Khao Balls, Kalapao, Oxtail Pho, and Pad Thai. It was all absolutely delicious. The Pad Thai, Nam Khao and Oxtail Pho were my favorites. We'll definitely be back. To top it off, the service was great. Very friendly staff.

This place is so cute and the staff is so nice. Walking in we were greeted like family. The prices for the amount of food you get is amazing. The food is 10/10 I will be going back!

Chicken wing, rib, sausage, papaya salad and sticky rice.

Placed an order and picked up. Restaurant was a decent size. Nice and clean. The food was good. I was expecting the papaya salad to have the real "padek" taste of strong, pungent fermented fish.

Bestttt food I ever had!!! Me and my niece found this place on Yelp and once we seen the Oxtail Pho we knew it was a go. RUN here don't walk. Thank you for great food and amazing service.

Once you park and step inside it's such a cheesy mom & pop business overly decorated in Thai decor. The restrooms are ALWAYS clean. This is not fast food, you will wait a little while even 15-20 mins for takeout, but it's worth it. My favorite spot on the Southside. I first discovered this restaurant while in Real Estate school at Barney Fletcher. Most evenings we tried to hurry and find close dinner options. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. It can add up to over $40 if you're greedy ordering several items like an appetizer + entree + dessert. I've eaten on my leftovers maybe 2-3X. No exaggeration! The best dish I've had is Naam Khao (crispy rice w/ fermented pork bits, fresh veggies and wrapped in lettuce) and Laos spring rolls (crunchy) . Thai tea overly sweet so it's best when watered down from the ice. Mango sticky rice is a purple color and yummy as well. Unique earthy taste, but still sweet and on par. I will drive 20-30 mins bcos I crave it sometimes. Everyone I've introduced to this place are fans on the first visit. I almost want to gate keep! lol

The wings were crispy and nice I was dipping it all in the sauce. I didn't care for the papaya salad it tasted like dead sea animals then I noticed a lil crab in it so that explained why I tasted fish/crustacean. Maybe they also added fish sauce? I don't use those flavors in my dishes so the flavor profile was new for me. No hate just my experience I would still recommend you give them a try. I love the rice steamer I washed it and immediately started cooking sticky rice for the first time. The staff were nice. Nice ambiance, quiet, pretty plants and cultural memorabilia all around.

The location is in a decent enough spot, but I'd definitely recommend locking your car doors just to be safe. The restaurant is pretty small inside, so I went with a pickup order instead. The food was made with fresh ingredients, and the chicken fried rice was solid -- nothing mind-blowing, but a good baseline Thai-style version. The portions were average, and the spring rolls were decent too. Price-wise, it was pretty standard -- not too expensive, not a steal either. Overall, it was exactly what I ordered and expected. Would I go back? Probably if there weren't better options nearby. I did try a couple other Thai spots in the area that gave bigger portions, better value, and noticeably tastier food. But if Wimal is your most convenient choice, it'll get the job done.

What I found instead felt like a small echo of what the place used to be. The food has shrunk in size while the prices have climbed, which makes the whole experience feel out of balance. I ordered the bao because it used to be the star of the show for me. I still remember the way they were fried on one side before, with that golden crisp that added texture and soul to every bite. This time the bao arrived soft and much smaller than I remembered. The flavor was fine, but the magic was missing. It felt like the memory of a painting that has faded over time. I do want to say that the staff were kind and welcoming. They suggested a hibachi special, which I was not interested in, but they made the attempt to guide my order. Their warmth was the best part of the visit. I left with a sense of nostalgia for what used to be. Maybe the menu has evolved or costs have changed, but the experience simply did not match the picture I carried with me. I hope the place finds its rhythm again, because it once held a special spot in my rotation.
