John took the time to advise us that what we asked for wouldn't yield the results we wanted and that we'd have have to hire someone to come out and trim the trees again earlier than necessary. We took his advice and John and his team achieved what we wanted and also beautifully shaped our trees. We were impressed that he priorities what we want and with what's best for the trees instead of what will fatten his wallet. They had 4 people who came and efficiently worked for ~2.5 hours and got the job done quickly. I noticed they used safety harness and ropes when cutting so the branches would fall where they expected. Large chunks were also aimed to fall in safe areas and I never worried that any of our fencing, house, or surrounding areas would be impacted. That did not make the cut for winning our bid. My father had his own tree company for years, Z Trees, I went with, helping, so I am a bit particular what I want plus one tree was on our neighbor's property and leaning over our roof. The entire crew of six were highly capable safety-minded individuals who showed up on time and were extremely organized and efficient in their methodology in removing the trees. They moved the cut trees safely to the wood chipper and cleaned up the property so no signs of debris was left. The team was very friendly, respectful and efficient at every stage of the process. From the initial call to the owner to schedule the bid, to the estimate visit from Matthew was a positive one that made me feel confident with my selection of this company. I think the pricing was extremely reasonable for the amount of time and effort to remove the large cottonwoods and maple trees from my yard. We even had a Alder tree on neighbors property leaning over our house, neighbor gave them permission in writing, had it down so efficiently. Our huge cedar was limbed fast.
