I had eight trees removed from my property and my experience with Northwest Arboriculture was an excellent one. The entire crew of six were highly capable safety-minded individuals who showed up on time and were extremely organized and efficient in their methodology in removing the trees. They moved the cut trees safely to the wood chipper and cleaned up the property so no signs of debris was left. The team was very friendly, respectful and efficient at every stage of the process. From the initial call to the owner to schedule the bid, to the estimate visit from Matthew was a positive one that made me feel confident with my selection of this company. I think the pricing was extremely reasonable for the amount of time and effort to remove the large cottonwoods and maple trees from my yard. The six person team arrived in with their two large vehicles ready to work and get down to business. Their jobs are incredible dangerous and they made it look so graceful. They deserve my respect for what they do to safely remove the dangerous trees. I would recommend this family owned business for your tree removal needs. I will definitely have them work on my property again in the future.

They had 4 people who came and efficiently worked for ~2.5 hours and got the job done quickly. I noticed they used safety harness and ropes when cutting so the branches would fall where they expected. Derek and team are very kind and trustworthy, I would definitely recommend and use their services again in the future. We also got 4 other quotes in the Bellevue area and Derek's was the most reasonable while still being reliable. I did my research so you don't have to! Not only was A1 one of the best prices, they were the nicest, most professional, and caring company of the bunch. Drew is the owner and main climber and he brings a great attitude and fantastic skills to his work. Karri manages the scheduling and details on the phone and she is a pleasure to work with. My biggest worry with many tree companies is they may often push for tree removal when it is not needed. I live in a forested area because I love trees. Drew is aligned with this and even changed their name, adding "Conservation" as they prefer saving trees over removal. A1 Tree Service Conservation gets this and is now my preferred company to maintain and keep my trees healthy and managed. If you are looking for any tree work, don't hesitate to reach out to A1.

The first time we hired him we asked to cut the trees from the top. John took the time to advise us that what we asked for wouldn't yield the results we wanted and that we'd have have to hire someone to come out and trim the trees again earlier than necessary. We took his advice and John and his team achieved what we wanted and also beautifully shaped our trees. We were impressed that he priorities what we want and with what's best for the trees instead of what will fatten his wallet. I was impressed by Andy's knowledge and experience, and his estimate turned out to be slightly lower than another estimate we'd gotten, so we went with Dominant. A few days later Matthew arrived right on time with his crew. In addition to the branch removals, tree shaping and trimming, Matthew took the time to replace an old cable on our biggest locust that he saw was cutting into the bark with a superior cabling system. If you need this kind of work done I can highly recommend Dominant to take care of you.
