Heirloom Farmhouse Kitchen is on the first floor at the Marriott hotel in Irvine. I was really impressed by how upscale this hotel was. They have the restaurant on the first floor and then there is a rooftop bar on the rooftop. We came around 5pm for dinner on a Friday night and it was mostly empty, minus a few people at the bar. The menu is a bit small, but there are some great options. We decided to start with the spinach artichoke dip and it was super tasty. It was creamy and very flavorful. I also enjoyed that the chips were warm. Then, I got the arugula salad and that wasn't my favorite. I am typically a salad lover, but this one was pretty bland and left something to be desired. The ribeye on the other hand was tender and juicy! Our server was fantastic and all the staff were helpful. I think this would be a great place to watch a big game, they have a beautiful bar and giant TV screens.

Sterling is a wonderful bartender and he's very knowledgeable about the menu and the hotel as well. You can see the pool while sitting at the bar. I'm ordering the Harvest apple berry salad with prawns. It is super expensive which is kind of surprising for an average Marriott but I'm hungryyyy and don't want to starve.

I've stopped in a few times before and the food has always been great, but the service was so great tonight I absolutely needed to take the time to leave this review. The bartender Danny is phenomenal! I stopped by for a quick bite and didn't expect it to be the highlight of my day but it totally was. He was so fun and such a joy to talk to. What an absolute asset to your staff :) thanks Danny for such an awesome end to my awesome night!

The poke was good but the seared tuna tasted really bad. The kitchen had only one waiter running around with no one around helping him. So many people eating and only one servant available.

I absolutely love the freshness of the food and how quickly the food comes out! I am so thankful I came across this place under the spectrum Irvine hotel! The staff here is super friendly and they have a great selection for lunch! I'm excited to see what they have for dinner! The ambience is very modern and chic! And I would definitely be back!

Let's clarify, this is the Marriott's lobby restaurant. And will have to valet with the restaurant when you arrive. Open space, very relaxed, not very busy on a Wednesday night. Our server was very nice and attentive. The meal moved pretty quickly, which we appreciated since they were a few screaming kids in running around. The food was pleasantly delightful. Loved the flavor of the sprouts, even though it was a little too oily. The pizza was great to share, thin crust and a generous amount of toppings. The best overall was the sea bass, perfectly cooked and a great paring with the collar greens. I wouldn't might coming back if we had friends staying at the hotel but not otherwise.

I didn't see that they charged an automatic 20% charge on the bill.

No one was at the entrance to greet you or seat you. We had to wait and look for someone to help us. We also had to ask someone else to give us our bill. Nice ambience and presentation at buffet but a lot of the items were not labeled so we did not what they were or if it had any nuts because someone in our party is allergic. It was frustrating because I had to keep asking the ingredients and then they would have to ask the chef. This is not good because some allergies are very serious. Food was mostly good. I didn't really enjoy the red wine sauce that accompanied the prime rib or any of the desserts. $89 per person Drinks included are coffee and water. Juice and sodas is an extra charge. They charged an extra 20% service charge on the bill that they did not inform me when I made the reservations. Total for 4 people was $460.31. Only $10 off for valet parking which was $28 for 3 hours So it was $18 to parks. They said they would charge our car but they didn't.

Tucked inside a hotel and surrounded by office buildings, this spot is perfect for a quick lunch escape or winding down with coworkers at happy hour. It's super spacious with tons of outdoor seating, ideal for rolling deep with the whole crew. I went with the chef's special: a dreamy heirloom tomato burrata salad and lamb chops for just $25 (yes, really). The salad was fresh and light, and the lamb chops? Tender, juicy, and totally worth it. Our server was on point, too. Overall, it's a fun, low-key gem! I'll definitely be back for happy hour (and maybe drag a few teammates with me).

We had a nice dinner here on a Saturday night. The live music was great, it wasn't overbearingly loud, and we were seated in about less than 10 minutes. SERVICE: The staff knew the menu well and offered options and recommendations. Food took some time to arrive, but it was understandably busy at the time. We ended up ordering the Pork Chop and Pan Roasted Salmon from the main entrees. FOOD: The Pork Chop was delicious, 8.5/10! The sauce was the cherry on top for this dish and the butter beans with kale and pickled chilies paired really well together. The Pan Roasted Salmon was prepared nicely above average, although the "forbidden rice" added interesting texture but not too much flavor, 7/10. OVERALL: Prices were on the more expensive side but was expected due to its location in a nice hotel. Would recommend for a date spot since they have seating by the pool too!

Tucked inside the Marriott, this spot offers up delicious meals at reasonable prices. I ended up with a Farmer's Bene and it was perfect I'm every aspect in my opinion. Perfect portion, perfectly cooked and perfect enough for a picture. Service was fast. Had a meeting to attend in about 45 minutes and we made it with some time to spare. If you happen to be in the area or stay at the hotel, don't pass up an opportunity to dine here. Thank me later.

    Avocado Toast

I had their avocado toast for breakfast almost everyday when I was staying there. It's so loaded and tasty. It's grilled to black by default, and they were happy to change it to be toasted instead. They may occasionally forget to toast the bread at all so it might be great to always ask. They don't have espresso based drink so you may have to bring your own if you prefer to pair the toasted with a Latte.

delicious mocktail, not too sweet and refreshing! the pressed burger was cooked perfectly and the caesar salad was lightly dressed and refreshing. all winners. great service and cool open bar. was staying at the hotel so eating here was super convenient!

We enjoyed breakfast on a Sunday morning during our stay. The atmosphere was very pretty and tranquil. We sat outside, under cover, near the pool area. Seating was comfortable. Waitstaff was prompt and pleasant. My breakfast was delicious. The potatoes tasted buttery, and my eggs were properly prepared.

The cooking uses quality ingredients and love and care. I was here on business by myself and was seated immediately and after a quick look at the menu decided on the devil's cut ribeye a steak. It comes with a massive amount of oven, roasted potatoes and green beans. I also got a side salad with it as well which was way too much food for one person. The entire thing was big enough for two normal or maybe even three light eaters. The steak was excellent with a sweet coffee rub with a slightly sweet mapley taste. I could only finish about half and save the rest for the next day. Even though I was full, I decided to try the fried apple pie because it was recommended by many other reviewers. It was actually amazing. It was the dish that was highly recommended by the server and she was not wrong. The ice cream on top was probably House made and the pie itself was like a gourmet version of a hostess apple pie but of course with much higher quality ingredients and it was delicious. The vibe of the restaurant is exciting. It is a fun place to visit with the visual aspects such as the bird cages in the window case. Oak barrels used for aging whiskey are set around and the general vibe was very attractive. Everyone was having a great time and making quite a lot of noise from all the conversation and the music, but people were really enjoying themselves. If you want to have a quiet conversation with someone, this is probably not your place, but if you want a fun time with that kind of vibe, it is an excellent place. I recommend Bosscat highly.

And I truly believe that they are not really made out to be a full-service restaurant as much as I like their dedication and drive. I had a reservation at 7 pm. I checked in at 6:45 pm. At 7:25 pm, they brought us in and did not have a table ready for us. They made a table then after a table left 15 minutes later, they rearranged us. I do not understand why you offer reservations if you will not actually honor the system. Around 8 pm, we asked if we could order as they had only brought water. Listen I understand. You're closing soon. You only had 1 server for the entire restaurant the weekend of Valentines. You have to go lean on the busiest last weekend ..? I don't actually understand. When all came to, they were not offering dessert because "they were saving it for Valentine's Day". No notification about when their kitchen closed and no asks if anybody wanted to order for to-go. On top of that, everyone did not have free parking and had to pay upon exit even with validation. You will do great as a ghost kitchen since the food was good and everyone enjoyed it. If you come back as a full service, I would seriously reconsider how you do business.
