Have pastrami sandwich, wedding ball, soup, and potato salad
Lea G.

Great place for a quality sandwich. I enjoyed the half sandwich and soup. Wedding ball soup. Pretty good. Needed a little salt. Half pastrami sandwich on homemade marbled rye. The bread was amazing! Good quality pastrami. I chose Swiss cheese and it was heated up. my only issue was way too much mustard. Maybe I should've stressed that point. The dish came with a choice of potato salad, coleslaw, or chips. Homemade potato salad so I went for it. Red skin potatoes with a lot of mayonnaise. No pickles or onions. Some people like that. It essentially good . The service was quick and attentive. Very friendly and helpful when I had questions. Bright spot with clean restrooms. I would definitely go back. They have many choices of delicious looking items.

$16 gets you this luke warm sandwich and a bag of chips. Wouldn't recommend it, can see why it was empty on Sunday during lunch

Rueben! Modified with half pastrami and half corned beef.

Star Rating Rubric: 1 Star for Service 1 Star for Taste 1 Star for Dietary Accommodations 1 Star for Atmosphere 1 Star for Overall Experience Service: The guy behind the counter was extremely helpful. He made some good recommendations and made spending money easy. Haha! Taste: The sandwich was good! I split the difference between pastrami and corned beef on the Rueben and was pleased with the results! Dietary Accommodations: The seem to have everyone covered under the sun. Great deal for all looking for something! Atmosphere: The decor in the restaurant sets a nice mood and makes you forget you are in a strip mall. Overall Experience: I had a great pit stop Experience for a quick meal. As with most places these days, the menu is a bit pricey, but alas you get hormone free and healthier cold cuts in your sandwiches. The help was super helpful and I overall enjoyed the visit.

Hamming it up!

I've ordered spice room delivery before but had never actually been to one of their locations, so I…read morefinally went to check out the Arvada spot with a group of five. This location has more of a South Indian menu than the others, which was a nice reason to pick it. We ordered a ton since there were five of us. Tandoori was my favorite, the chicken out of the clay oven was so good. We got three different naans, butter, garlic, and cheese, and the cheesy garlic one was the best of the bunch for me. Also tried the sev puri, pani puri, the appetizer platter, and the paneer dosa, all solid. This place is a classic in the Denver metro area and after finally sitting down here I get why. If you've only ever gotten it delivered like I used to, go sit down at one of the locations at least once. Already planning to go back and work through more of the menu since they have so many items.

I'm not really a fan of Indian food, but I saw the Yelp rating and wanted to try it. The honey…read morecurry was tasty, but it got too sweet for me after a while. I'd say it's good for a smaller serving. They also have a kids' menu, and they kept refilling our waters. I told the server it was our first time, but he didn't really recommend anything or talk much about the menu. I noticed he was more talkative with some of the other tables and even gave another group a little sampler of sauces. It felt weird, but I don't want to assume anything. I was going to give 5 stars, but when we asked for a to-go container, the helper dropped it and the lid on the floor, then handed them to us. I had to clean the lid myself. The food was good, but the service was just okay for us. 4 out of 5. If the restaurant wants to check the video of the incident im happy to show my receipt and you can see on your video if available and maybe can address this later.

Best Indian restaurant in Denver metro, hands down! I can't believe I haven't written a review…read moreyet!! The Spice Room in the Highlands is the best one too, the others are great but this one is the best. A fantastic meal with good service at a great price- hard to come by in Denver! A few dedicated parking spots in front or otherwise on the surrounding streets.. whatever it is, don't let it deter you from coming bc they won't let you down. There's ~15 tables & everything is so fresh! You're served complimentary sauces with a thin roti-like cracker, and the sauces are all so good- my favorite is the cilantro one or the tamarind sweet one.. and they all go great on your dishes. The best appetizers are the samsosa chhole chaat- it's like a deconstructed samosa with crunchy bits & sauces on top, soooo good you won't want a regular samosa again! My other favorites are Chicken 65 & the veggie pakora (fried veg nests). Those 3 alone are enough for 2 people, but if you're super hungry, the entrees won't let you down either! Chicken makhani, biryani, tandoori chicken &/or the curries are where you'll never go wrong. All in all, I suggest you prioritize this Spice Room if you're even slightly an Indian food fan! Their variety of northern & southern Indian foods along with street food dishes are phenomenal.

Not the best, very over rated…read more The Naan is soggy and bland and the Buttered Chicken taste more like tomato soup than the dish... I do not recommend especially for the price. There's many better locations around!
