The husband was very sweet, good foot treatment. The selection to match your nails and toes were very little which was disappointing. I wanted my toes and nails to match and even told the woman and they STILL came out mis-matched. I have orange nails with red toes. VERY disappointing. read more

Heavenly Nails Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Encinitas, California

I've been looking for a nail salon that I love and trust, and I'm so happy my search is over! Heavenly Nails is a great place to relax and get my manicure and pedicure. Le and Theresa are welcoming, and they do an excellent job, always taking good care of their customers. Since they don't take walk-ins, I always make sure I book my next appointment when I go there. They have loyal customers that have been going there for years, and I can see why. Now I'm one of them, and I don't need to look elsewhere. Thank you, Le and Theresa! read more

The couple that runs this salon are the sweetest, and they're taking every precaution to keep their customers safe during the pandemic. Their attention to detail is superb and they're so fun to talk to. Feeling very grateful to have found my new local nail salon, will 1,000% be coming back! read more

Great family owned nail salon with kind owners, who were very thorough with their mani/pedi. They did a great job on my nails!

Great place to get a professional manicure and pedicure! I have been going to Heavenly Nails for over 10 years ! And thank you Teresa for helping me with my Color Street Nails for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer! Teresa you rock! read more

Writing about my first time at heavenly and it was such a lovely experience! Theresa did a wonderful job on my mani/pedi, and it lasted for almost two weeks! This is the cleanest nail salon I've ever been in by far. Great prices as well. I'll definitely be back!! read more

I have been getting gel manicures for almost 10 years and this is literally the worst manicure I have ever had. The polish was super thin and unfortunately, I chose white as my color which turned out looking very dirty and unclean. A gel manicure almost always lasts me 2 weeks and this one started chipping after just a couple of days. My boss even noticed how bad my nails looked and asked what happened to me. I had to cancel an event because I was too embarrassed to rock these nails. I also got a pedicure which didn't turn out very well either. I think a picture says a thousand words. read more

I AM BLOWN AWAY. Ever since I was a young girl, I have been going to nail salons consistently. Never in my life have I enjoyed an experience much like this. I called ahead to make an appointment because this salon is by appointment only. I come in at 5, and I have the whole salon to myself. Some might see that as a red flag for poor service, but it is the complete opposite. The owners, husband and wife team, made the decision to limit their business to 25% in order to remain safe and sanitized for each guest. They only allow two customers in the salon at a time, and have gone ABOVE AND BEYOND for COVID precautions. Each station has a three panel shield for optimum safety for both employee and customer (used on manicure and pedicure stations). They do not schedule back to back customers in order to sanitize each station thoroughly. Often times during pedicures, I keep to myself with the occasional question thrown in, but I spoke with Lee and his wife Theresa the whole time. I felt like I was chatting with friends. I received the gel pedicure ($45) which included a leg and foot scrub massage, hot stones, and additional lotion massage. The pedicure came out great as expected. I had grown up in Encinitas my entire life and never knew this gem was here! Life long customer - happy Valentine's Day to me! read more

I've only been here once, but I won't be back. I had a manicure and green tea pedicure, and the service was fine but not spectacular. The pedicure was average but the fingernails were chipping substantially after a few days. My big problem here is that I had a significant tip added onto my credit card, when I paid a tip in cash. The manicure was $13 and the pedicure $33, and I paid the tip in cash. My credit card was charged $102! Sorry guys, you gave a decent pedicure but adding on a $56 tip earns you shitbag status. Stay away! read more

This is one of the worst place in San Diego. They are both extremely rude and disrespectful. Horrible job on gel manicure and pedicure.

I'm surprised to see so many good reviews here. I just walked out and am pretty upset. I need to take a few breaths before driving back to my hotel so just posting a review. I requested a basic manicure for just a polish change. I selected a color and Theresa was my manicurist. We made idle chit chat while she also chatted with the other two shope employees/owner (?). She made a lot of observations about my nails (they are short, as I usually cut them before I go into a salon since it can be uncomfortable for everyone to try to cut them). She filed and cut my cuticles noting that they were very overgrown (probably true, but she went a little overboard and actually cut too much) The polish I selected must have been old and was bubbly and a little tarry. She didn't paint my whole nail on my left thumb, there were chip like pieces missing along the edges of two of my nails. The polish bubbled up on my left thumb, index and middle fingers. I pointed this out to her and she said first that the top coat wouls even it out then she said she could redo it I was short on time and told her to just remove the polish and I'll pick up a bottle somewhere and do it myself. They gave me a refund. This was all fine. Not quite the experience I wanted but whatever. I took a picture to show a friend and that's when things went sideways. Theresa started yelling at me saying "what you do comes back to you". She probably assumed I was going to post it as a Yelp review (actually wasn't planning it but was going to show my friend why I was late meeting her). She continued to yell at me, saying it was my fault because my nails are so short she couldn't do the work (I've never had a problem and if she couldn't do it she should have said something at the beginning). The yelling continued as she removed the polish and I couldn't get a word in at all to reinforce I never had a manicurist have a problem with my nail length. An woman and a man came in (customer) and she continued to yell at me. She went so far as to say "I knew you were like this when you walked in, that's why I didn't give you to my friend. What you do comes back to you, how are you going to do that to people". I told her that was unkind and judgmental. She finished by putting oil over my hands and expected me to walk out. I will say they handled things well by offering a refund but the yelling at me was not ok. I know it's silly but I'm upset enough to sit in my car and write this review (sometimes things just hit you at the wrong moment). Since coming to the car I did notice that she did cut my skin by my left middle finger and right pinky. Maybe this is not the experience most people have here, but had I read a review like this, it would have prevented me from going and saved all of us a little upset this morning. :( PS I deleted the picture that caused the ruckus right in front of Theresa. It didn't stop the yelling. I do have a picture of my cuts and scraped up nails. I haven't posted it because they are gross but I do have it. read more

Second time coming here for a pedicure and it is still my favorite place. I brought my younger sister with me and she enjoyed it. I had called to make an appointment for 4pm. I had garage trouble plus being stuck in traffic so I got there well after 4:30...but they still took us the employees are always so nice, kind, and understanding. They do everything they can to make sure you are comfy and happy. They also rely take care of your feet and know what they're talking about. One small tip is to call ahead of time, sometimes they get busy since there's usually 2 people on a slower day read more

They took their time which I truly appreciate and were super sweet. Amazing pedicure. Loved the service and the people. Cute and relaxing atmosphere. Adhering to safety guidelines which made my experience more comfortable. Would definitely return. read more

Clean and lovely nail spa owned by a wonderful couple who also give the best pedicures I've ever had. They use too-end products and charge extremely fair prices. No need to look further, unless you're opposed to pedicures that last months and months...and months. read more

Heavenly Nails Spa - Pedi perfection. - Nail Salons Near Me - Encinitas, California

After a bit of research, I decided to try Heavenly Nails for my gel manicure. All of the positive reviews are correct - this salon is fantastic. I have tried multiple nail spas in North County and this is by far the best. I was especially impressed by the attention to detail and quality of my manicure. The price was more reasonable than most salons as well. Highly recommended. read more

My second time coming here and still is my absolute favorite. I walked out with beautiful new hands. They really take pride in the work they do, which they should because they really take there time making sure the client is completely satisfied. Theresa who has been my manicurist the last two times did make a few observations about my nails but I believe her intention was to pass on knowledge and educate the client, like myself the benefits of taking care of your nails, but also wanted to make sure I had pleasant and enjoyable experience. The atmosphere had a calm and relaxing feeling and also the cleanest salon I have EVER been to. I would recommend making an appointment a head of times because they are busy. read more

Lee and Theresa are awesome. They take care of their customers, are friendly and fun. One of the best stone massages in so cal

5 star service every time!  A very sweet husband and wife own and run the business for 25 years now. They take pride in their work and it shows. They are very hygienic and tidy. Lee and Theresa are amazing! Their pedicures aRe fabulous, and they are genuine, kind and compassionate. They take a genuine interest in each and every client. I won't go anywhere else! read more

Had a great Pedicure here. This place is super clean and inviting.

Wow, this is the best mani pedi I have had by far in Southern California! There was so much attention to detail and an amazing arm massage thrown in with my manicure. The couple that owns it is really nice and you can tell they care a lot about their customers & the high quality of service they provide. Ask for "party nails" if you want to spice it up! read more

I also had the unpleasant experience of hearing the details of why they were firing someone and it was not essential to sit and listen. Lee is very nice the old nasty lady not so much. My toes were not bad (gotten a pedi about 3 weeks prior) as she had her daughter who was very young and extremely not experienced working on my toes and giving her guidance like it was her first time ever. The older lady took over and she made me bleed not once but two times and just stuck my feet back in the water to stop the bleeding. This place should be called Hell rather than Heavenly! Their mission statement is so far from the truth it's a freaking joke. Never been in so much pain even after the service was performed. So rude to people who were walking in asking for service I am not sure why they would ever come back! Amazing how some people think they are gods gift o the nail profession. Trust me unless you like being abused you should not go here ever! read more

A friend and I tried out the Heavenly Spa on a Monday afternoon. We were lucky enough to get an appointment within the hour. It's run by a husband and wife team. They have a very clean shop with medically sterilized tools. And the vibe is very inviting and comfortable. I had the wife Theresa who spent her time scrubbing my feet while cracking jokes. She did an amazing job! Hands down the best pedicure I've had in a long time. I can't wait to go back! read more

I have had many nail applications and yes fake nails tend to damage your nail a bit but never before have I had my nails damaged so much. All of my nails have dents in them and some of my nails are even lifting off my nail bed all together( I don't think they will fall off) and they are paper thin in a couple places from the gel pushing down on them. When I first got my nails done about a month ago my nail my nails were hurting extremely bad and they show it now. I'm sure you could get your nails painted here but I would NOT recommend ever getting a gel application here. It was painful and insanely destructive. read more

Their Yelp page shows they accept walk-ins, but when we got there they said they don't and didn't even offer for us to book appointments. Very rude, very short responses, no attempt to offer their services at all. read more

Walk ins are not welcome. Went to try to get a pedicure this evening and was asked what I needed. I said a pedicure. The woman and man working said "no not right now". I said online said you guys are open until 6:30 pm. The man working said we will be open until 8 pm but we have clients coming in so no walk ins. So much for walk ins welcome. read more

Lee and Theresa are awesome! Not only do they give fantastic manis and pedis, but they are fun to talk to and I always meet other local customers and have great conversations. The couple that runs the salon is so kind and Theresa does an amazing job on my nails!

I came here for the first time & had one of the owners Theresa. I was very impressed with how meticulous Theresa was EACH nail. She made sure each nail was to my liking. She explained things thoroughly on why she did things a certain way. I've never had anyone spend as much time to detail as she did. It's a nice small place & the decor makes you feel comfortable and cozy. The place is very clean. The only downside is that it is more pricey than other places but you pay for quality. Definitely splurge on the spa pedicure once in awhile...the massages and callous scrub was excellent. read more

I'm not sure what nail salon you all went to but I have been going here for 15 years - even when it was L'Elysse and they are awesome! Theresa and Lee are great (the owners) and they do a great job.
