I have been getting gel manicures for almost 10 years and this is literally the worst manicure I have ever had. The polish was super thin and unfortunately, I chose white as my color which turned out looking very dirty and unclean. A gel manicure almost always lasts me 2 weeks and this one started chipping after just a couple of days. My boss even noticed how bad my nails looked and asked what happened to me. I had to cancel an event because I was too embarrassed to rock these nails. I also got a pedicure which didn't turn out very well either. I think a picture says a thousand words. read more

I've only been here once, but I won't be back. I had a manicure and green tea pedicure, and the service was fine but not spectacular. The pedicure was average but the fingernails were chipping substantially after a few days. My big problem here is that I had a significant tip added onto my credit card, when I paid a tip in cash. The manicure was $13 and the pedicure $33, and I paid the tip in cash. My credit card was charged $102! Sorry guys, you gave a decent pedicure but adding on a $56 tip earns you shitbag status. I AM BLOWN AWAY. Ever since I was a young girl, I have been going to nail salons consistently. Never in my life have I enjoyed an experience much like this. I called ahead to make an appointment because this salon is by appointment only. I come in at 5, and I have the whole salon to myself. Some might see that as a red flag for poor service, but it is the complete opposite. The owners, husband and wife team, made the decision to limit their business to 25% in order to remain safe and sanitized for each guest. They only allow two customers in the salon at a time, and have gone ABOVE AND BEYOND for COVID precautions. Each station has a three panel shield for optimum safety for both employee and customer (used on manicure and pedicure stations). They do not schedule back to back customers in order to sanitize each station thoroughly. Often times during pedicures, I keep to myself with the occasional question thrown in, but I spoke with Lee and his wife Theresa the whole time. I felt like I was chatting with friends. I received the gel pedicure ($45) which included a leg and foot scrub massage, hot stones, and additional lotion massage. The pedicure came out great as expected. I'm surprised to see so many good reviews here. I just walked out and am pretty upset. I need to take a few breaths before driving back to my hotel so just posting a review. I requested a basic manicure for just a polish change. I selected a color and Theresa was my manicurist. We made idle chit chat while she also chatted with the other two shope employees/owner (?). She made a lot of observations about my nails (they are short, as I usually cut them before I go into a salon since it can be uncomfortable for everyone to try to cut them). She filed and cut my cuticles noting that they were very overgrown (probably true, but she went a little overboard and actually cut too much) The polish I selected must have been old and was bubbly and a little tarry. She didn't paint my whole nail on my left thumb, there were chip like pieces missing along the edges of two of my nails. The polish bubbled up on my left thumb, index and middle fingers. I pointed this out to her and she said first that the top coat wouls even it out then she said she could redo it I was short on time and told her to just remove the polish and I'll pick up a bottle somewhere and do it myself. They gave me a refund. This was all fine. Not quite the experience I wanted but whatever. I took a picture to show a friend and that's when things went sideways. Theresa started yelling at me saying "what you do comes back to you". She probably assumed I was going to post it as a Yelp review (actually wasn't planning it but was going to show my friend why I was late meeting her). She continued to yell at me, saying it was my fault because my nails are so short she couldn't do the work (I've never had a problem and if she couldn't do it she should have said something at the beginning). The yelling continued as she removed the polish and I couldn't get a word in at all to reinforce I never had a manicurist have a problem with my nail length. An woman and a man came in (customer) and she continued to yell at me. She went so far as to say "I knew you were like this when you walked in, that's why I didn't give you to my friend. What you do comes back to you, how are you going to do that to people". I told her that was unkind and judgmental. She finished by putting oil over my hands and expected me to walk out. I will say they handled things well by offering a refund but the yelling at me was not ok. I know it's silly but I'm upset enough to sit in my car and write this review (sometimes things just hit you at the wrong moment). Since coming to the car I did notice that she did cut my skin by my left middle finger and right pinky. Maybe this is not the experience most people have here, but had I read a review like this, it would have prevented me from going and saved all of us a little upset this morning. :( PS I deleted the picture that caused the ruckus right in front of Theresa. It didn't stop the yelling. I do have a picture of my cuts and scraped up nails. I haven't posted it because they are gross but I do have it. read more

I am a nurse. My nails and cuticles are always dry and cracked from lots of handwashing, wearing gloves, and hand sanitizing. My hands and my feet are always perfect after I leave here. Also, it's very clean and sanitized. So I feel safe having my nails done here. read more

Second time coming here for a pedicure and it is still my favorite place. I brought my younger sister with me and she enjoyed it. I had called to make an appointment for 4pm. I had garage trouble plus being stuck in traffic so I got there well after 4:30...but they still took us the employees are always so nice, kind, and understanding. They do everything they can to make sure you are comfy and happy. They also rely take care of your feet and know what they're talking about. I walked out with beautiful new hands.They really take pride in the work they do, which they should because they really take there time making sure the client is completely satisfied. I have had many nail applications and yes fake nails tend to damage your nail a bit but never before have I had my nails damaged so much. All of my nails have dents in them and some of my nails are even lifting off my nail bed all together( I don't think they will fall off) and they are paper thin in a couple places from the gel pushing down on them. When I first got my nails done about a month ago my nail my nails were hurting extremely bad and they show it now. I'm sure you could get your nails painted here but I would NOT recommend ever getting a gel application here. It was painful and insanely destructive. read more

I also had the unpleasant experience of hearing the details of why they were firing someone and it was not essential to sit and listen. Lee is very nice the old nasty lady not so much. My toes were not bad (gotten a pedi about 3 weeks prior) as she had her daughter who was very young and extremely not experienced working on my toes and giving her guidance like it was her first time ever. The older lady took over and she made me bleed not once but two times and just stuck my feet back in the water to stop the bleeding. This place should be called Hell rather than Heavenly! Their mission statement is so far from the truth it's a freaking joke. Never been in so much pain even after the service was performed. So rude to people who were walking in asking for service I am not sure why they would ever come back! Amazing how some people think they are gods gift o the nail profession. After several reviews of nail salons in my area I chose heavenly Nails. First, because all but 1 review were well written and great. I thought that a husband and wife team may be better than several ladies who speak no English wait to do your nails without understanding what you really want or need. That experience, I am done with! So, Teresa and Lee are lovely people. They have great personalities and their shop is CLEAN and well appointed. No TV but light music playing. They really do work with appointments which is better. They take their time with your nails or pedicure and do it right the first time. If you are having a nail lift, polish rub off, they will redo for you within the 2-3 weeks at no charge. Teresa took my ugly bitten split nails and reworked them until they were presentable.
