I hired Heavenly Handyman 2 weeks ago for several small jobs including painting and fixing cabinets, and replacing 2 outlets in the kitchen with GFCI outlets. After he replaced the 2 outlets, NONE of the outlets on that same circuit worked, including the 2 new ones. I called him back to fix it. He came out but could not fix it and told me the issue was dirt in the other outlets. I ended up having to hire a licensed electrician to come out and fix it. The electrician fixed the while wire inside the GFCI outlet. I asked Heavenly Handyman to reimburse me for the cost to correct the electrical work. He refused.I cannot recommend for any electrical work. The small handyman jobs were done, but the electrical issue and refusal to take responsibility was very disappointing. read more

This was actually the second time Evan had helped us with a home project--and just like the first time (which I regret not reviewing earlier), he delivered excellent results, at a very reasonable price. We had a plumbing leak in the wall between our laundry room and garage, which required major drywall removal and several days of mold remediation. We hired Evan to handle the drywall replacement and painting, and he recommended the remediation company and coordinated with them while that was happening. In addition, we asked for help organizing the garage--something I'd been meaning to do for years. He built custom shelving for a tricky corner, installed prebuilt shelves, and added wall organizers to finally make the space functional. Evan was prompt, professional, and friendly throughout. His workmanship was top-notch, and we're really happy with how everything turned out. Highly recommend! read more

Evan was a huge help with a couple home projects that have been on my to-do list forever, we're so glad we found him and are very happy with the results. He hung a ceiling fan for my son's room in a location that didn't have a light fixture already, so it required cutting a new anchor point in the ceiling and rewiring everything. He also relocated and adjusted the height of a light fixture in our kitchen, as well as anchored my bookcases and installed anchor points for a hammock. Evan is a great communicator, has helpful suggestions for whatever space you're trying to improve, and we're thrilled with how everything looks. I highly recommend his services! read more

I am honored to leave a review for Evan and his work. We've actually used Evan for numerous projects around my house, music studios and many of my friends houses. The great thing about having him on our projects is he very often has an even grander vision for project than we do, and he makes it affordable, and brings your wildest dreams for a space to life. He's helped me build numerous music studios going on 3 now and I recommend him to all of my peers continuously. I am surprised there aren't more reviews on here. To be honest. read more

Super stoked on my new custom desk area. Evan came within the hour I called , measured it out and gave me a few color options then completed the project in 3hrs. Afterwards I realized I wanted the desk higher to fit my custom desk chair and he came back the sealed day and fixed it for free. Most definitely recommend him for any custom fabrications. read more

We just bought a house in Carlsbad that had an interesting pass through room that needed a hallway (needed our kid to be able to go without waking up her brother). Evan gave us a great quote and was honest about how much time he needed. Him and Chris worked very quickly to build a new wall, drywall 2 door frames while creating 2 new doorways to improve the flow of our home. It was a lot of work and had some definite challenges however they completed it super quick and great quality. The house has such a great flow now! I will be calling Evan to do projects in the future for sure! read more

Excellent work and client service, not to mention a seriously genuine, nice, honest human being. Evan truly is passionate about what he does, and that shows in his work. I found him on FB. I was looking for a local artisan to make a bench for my front entrance of my home. I contacted him and he got back to me in the same day. He came by the next day to look at space and took measurements. Then did his thing and had a beautiful bench a couple weeks later. The piece of wood he used had to "cure" for a bit, otherwise I believe it would have been done in a couple days. He also asked if I would like to put a special engraving on the under side, which makes the bench a real part of our home. I'm so grateful for such a beautiful bench and a great experience with a wonderful artist. read more

Evan was amazing. I own a brewery in Vista and we needed our countertops covered with epoxy. We spent weeks interviewing people and we only felt comfortable with Evan once we interviewed him and he shared photos of his past work. We were confident in his abilities. With one week until we opened, Evan did what we hired him to do. He installed our epoxy coat over our beautiful wood countertops. He did an absolutely amazing job. We will only hire Evan for all our locations. He is extremely talented and a hard worker who gets it done. read more

I hired Evan to do some needed handyman projects. He put together several pieces of my furniture. I was dreading attempting doing this on my own as I don't speak furniture building. Evan did an awesome job, working with proficiency and cleaning up after himself, plus reasonably priced. I would and plan on definitely hiring him again!!! Thank you Evan! read more

Needed Home Improvement Project Went Great!!! Evan and his guys are a very professional crew and they are real craftsmen. I had neglected my exterior french doors and my main front door. They were in bad shape. Evan responded to my request for a proposal in a timely manner, and once the scope was agreed upon, we scheduled the work. The Heavenly Handyman Services team got right to work. The doors really needed a great deal of bondo rebuild and a lot of TLC. They look beautiful. A total transformation thanks to Evan. The scope also included some drywall repair, texturing and painting, which all came out really nice. I highly recommend Evan for any project you may have. We actually ran into a couple snags on my project, but I was very impressed with how Evan's creativity, resourcefulness, and knowledge of the business and craft quickly got us back on a trajectory for success. Thank you so much for your help Evan! Vernon P. read more

We hired Evan to do some handyman work for our business in Carlsbad. He was extremely professional. We needed shelving, he recommended the perfect shelving unit from Ikea and he even picked it up for us and put it together. Saved us so much time and it looked perfect in the space. He professionally mounted a TV and hung some large framed jerseys on a very high wall. We would not have been able safely do this on our own. Highly recommend and will definitely use him again! read more

Evan is awesome! He's done several projects at our house and they always turn out great. He is responsive, friendly and does excellent work.

Evan of Heavenly Handyman Services is a delight to work with! I had a unique, resin table that I needed work done on to restore it to its former glory. I contacted several companies to take a look at it and most of them weren't confident or even capable of the scope of work on this antique piece. Not only did Evan come out and look at in person, but his estimate was spot on from the original post and he delivered exactly on the timing he said he would. I would gladly use his services again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend others as well! read more
