Adding my voice to my sister's: I'm happy to provide this recommendation for Dave. I found his work to be clean and thorough: well thought-out from inception to completion. Dave is very easy to work with and is clearly motivated more by customer satisfaction than by ego, which is truly refreshing. Dave handled or oversaw all of the work: from painting to electrical, plumbing, carpentry & construction, including cement work. He has a wealth of contacts and brought in a plumber to handle a long overdue (and quite stubborn) exterior patio drain issue. Although it took a while, he and the plumber stuck with it and solved the problem together. Over the course of three months, Dave supervised up to three additional people on-site at any given time. And, if ever the people didn't meet our expectations, Dave handled it quickly and brought in others who did. When a hiccup in expectations arose with a task, we worked together to clarify the task, then Dave pivoted to achieve both the desired result and Dad's satisfaction. This included work that he subbed out, such as sliding door re-screening. When we discovered that the screening was incorrectly installed, Dave didn't hesitate to take it back and get the job done right. Dad's home is his castle. And, as someone deeply experienced in repairs and renovation, he's a tough customer.
