Very helpful handyman! I needed to replace my front door handle and Russ helped me out. Very good communication skills! I would not hesitate to call him again for future projects and repairs. read more

Called a few times and left messages but never heard back. Perhaps he doesn't take male customers or doesn't need the business. Either way, should at least respond. read more

Russ is fantastic! My sister and I were renovating our mom's place and there were a bunch of odds and ends we needed help with. Russ did them all... from hooking up a dryer, fixing the garage disposal, installing light fixtures, installing new closet doors, plus over a dozen other things. Russ is an expert at them all. He is very fast with excellent workmanship. So happy we found him!! read more

Bookmark this guy! You will be happy with his work and will use him again. So happy with services provided by Russ. Prompt response time. We needed him for a bigger job and a smaller one, he took care of both for fair price. He was very honest, we had a few other things in our list which he advised against and helped us make some other decisions. He comes with big truck filled with all the things random jobs need, big ladder etc. Relieved to find an honest handyman. read more

Russ is every bit as awesome as all of his reviews. I just moved and have had a bunch of furniture that needed to be assembled. He was right on it and got it done. I could not be happier. read more

This "Rent A Husband Handyman" Russ was quite a find for us. Last night we had the very difficult responsibility of moving our wonderful mother to a nursing home. I searched for rent a husbands on Yelp because it was such a small move to see if he would do it for us. Although he is not a mover and rather a very skilled handyman, he agreed to do it for us and for a fair price, as well. Due to his excellent communication & reliability we are definitely glad that we chose him! He is easy to be around and a very genuine person. I would not hesitate to strongly refer him and to call him if ever we are in need of a handyman in the future. He made a very emotional night a LOT less stressful for my mom, my sister and I :) read more

Miracle worker.... Installed a microwave that we purchased from Home Depot. Actually paid Home Depot to install it, but they would not install microwave, because they saw that tile ran up behind it. Gave a call, left a message, and crossed my fingers that he wasn't so busy. He called back and accepted the job. Along with replacing and fixing the old leaky knobs in our bathroom, and fixing loose faucet in the kitchen. I'm so happy with his work, and I would recommend him to anyone. I kept his business card on the fridge, and will be calling back for more work. read more

Russ Garcia is the best handyman around. I had him out to look at a rotten fascia that 2 contractors said they wouldn't do cause it was a total pain in the butt. Russ came out and had it finished in lass then 1.5 hrs. He is totally knowledgeable and works fast. You will never be disappointed with him. read more

Russ has been my handyman for over 14 years. He always comes up with creative and reasonably priced solutions to home improvements or other household problems. I know he is very busy and he gets me on had schedule as soon as possible. He always texts prior to arrival, so no wasted waiting time. His work truck is so fully equipped. There are tools and supplies for just about any project. That means not waiting for a return visit. I highly recommend Russ. Apara read more

Russ is the BEST! I discovered water damage on an inside, exterior wall of my garage. A bunch of stuff had been leaning against that wall, so I don't know how long this moisture had been accumulating. My friend had patched it the day before, and I thought he knew what he was doing ... it would be OK... Ha! I went out to prime the area before painting it when the patch started falling off in my hands. The wall was still wet. Why? Do I have a plumbing leak? Is this a sprinkler problem? The more I peeled back the wall, the worse it got. Nails were rusty. The whole wall was disintegrating in my hands! I freaked. I don't have the money to fix a whole wall, and I certainly don't have enough money for a major plumbing issue. I used YELP and Angie's List to try to track down a reliable handyman. The more messages I left, the more panicked I became. Russ called back. He said he heard the desperation in my voice, and said he'd stop by on the way to another job. Russ was calm and sensible - a good balance for overwhelmed, stressed-out me. Russ inspected the wall and determined it was very unlikely that it was a pipe issue. All indicators pointed to sprinklers overshooting the mark. Russ explained exactly what I needed to do and offered creative, inexpensive solutions which even I could implement. He even gave me a tool to spread the joint compound! I did what he said, and I'll keep an eye on it for any further water intrusion. If I DO need to replace part of the wall, I know exactly who to call. Oh - and the best part - Russ was willing to provide all this great information (and his shoulder to cry on) for no cost! I insisted on paying him and gave him all the cash I had in my wallet - which wasn't nearly what his time was worth. Thanks, Russ! read more

My 87 year old mother lives just 10 minutes away and every time she calls with a FIX-IT problem Russ is the guy I call. Sure I can do most of this stuff myself. but he is faster, cleaner, stronger and keeps my mom off my back. Makes sense to me. Call Russ and you will not find a better handyman or FIX-IT Friend. Plus he has some cool Tools. Lots of them. read more

Russ came out to our home today. I called him Wednesday and he was able to come Thursday afternoon. He was prompt and responsive. His work was professional and he cleaned up like he was never here. He was polite and very efficient. I asked him to come back next week for additional work. He seems to be able to handle most handyman needs....in our case hanging a large flat screen tv (including the install of a rotating bracket mount), hanging a shelf, moving and re hanging some light fixtures and making a pony-bar. His prices are VERY reasonable. More than fair. I would highly recommend him. read more

Russ did not "doodle" nor waste time or money. He arrived on time, completed all projects, and even had time to say hello to my reserved, discerning puppy. Russ is the first visitor he didn't bark at! Wow! Quick, clean, efficient, pleasant, interesting, and reasonably priced. If you've got projects, call Russ- you'll be writing the next great review! read more

Russ has proven to be smart, experienced and exceptionally easy to work with during the past decade that he has served as my handyman. He is honest, dependable and a true professional who can fix almost anything. Via text messages, voice and photos he has helped me to maintain a rental that is more than 500 miles from my home. Absolutely essential for my situation, he has fair prices and can be trusted to look at problem solutions with an eye toward saving me money, not stuffing his own wallet.
