We are very happy with the work ASAP Remodeling did for us. The crew installed new cabinet doors in our kitchen. The crew was reliable and worked to get the job done as soon as possible. I just did a patio makeover and had a very large gazebo and 3 patio furniture sets to assemble. I hired Matt for the job and I cannot say enough positive things about him! He responded quickly, was so conscientious, very accommodating with my schedule, easy to talk with and extremely helpful. The same can be said for his assistant, Ben. I ended up asking him if he could install two smoke alarms and hang my patio lights. He went to home depo and picked up the correct smoke alarms and discussed with me the best way to hang the lights and offered to pick up the additional cords and conduit as well as research the right pendant light for my gazebo. I 100% recommend Matt for any job. He is extremely qualified and professional. He will definitely be my "go to" home improvement professional! read more

We had remodeled our house just a few months ago. I hired ASAP after we had a pipe burst that caused flooding in our home. Matt cane out promptly to assess the situation. We received an estimate in a timely manner. Matt's crew showed up on the date and time that was agreed upon. They began working on literally putting the house back together. I'm so happy to say the work was completed on time and completely as agreed. Very happy to say no complaints or detail left to be concerned about. Drywall patching which can be difficult to complete without major differences was completed beautifully. Through most of the house and rooms there is no longer any evidence of the damage that was done by the flooding. Tile, flooring and walls all back to normal. Our house is a home again I was so pleased with the work that I wanted to hire them to work on our other house. Sadly that house is a bit far and I'll have to search elsewhere. I am definitely keeping ASAP Remodeling in my phone. Things happen and if I Ever need this type of service again they'll be the first I call. read more

Matt installed shelving attached to the ceiling in our garage. He had an unexpected problem with the location of the studs above the ceiling. We are part of two unit condominium with a common roof over the garage. The studs in the two units were not parallel but were at 90° angles, he spent over day finding a solution which he did and then honored his original flat rate quote. We encouraged him to revise his quote because of the extensive time it took to complete, but he did not do so. The work was excellent His interactions with me were professional and courteous. We have contracted with multiple vendors over the years. He exceeded our expectations and performed better than any other contractor. I unreservedly endorse him for any project he would undertake. read more

Honest, quick, reasonably priced. I appreciate him being honest with me about needing a permit to add a bathroom

I just found ASAP Remodeling and it was one of the best handyman experiences of my life! I had a list of about 13 fixes that ranged from a door that would no longer close, installing a new dimmer light switch, fixing a broken drawer, installing a new ceiling fan, and a broken garbage disposal (which ended up requiring the installation of a new garbage disposal). I called four different services on a Saturday not expecting anyone to answer. Matt answered the phone, we talked through everything and he set an appointment to stop by and see everything the next day (Sunday). He was prompt, thorough, but also concise on Sunday. Within four hours, he had messaged me his proposal of how much everything would cost (and everything included). He messaged me the day before he was coming to fix everything to make sure I had all materials and offered to pick up a new garbage disposal because that was one thing I didn't have! He showed up on time the day of work, and brought an assistant to make sure he could get through the whole list in one day for us. There was even one thing I had forgotten on my BBQ, and he CREATED a special knob for my barbecue handle! He also took off his shoes inside the house, and cleaned up as he went along, and after they were done. (Without any request from me). I will definitely be using Matt and ASAP Remodeling again in the future and couldn't recommend them higher. Krista read more

Great experience with Matt! We needed multiple small fixes around the house. He did them all quickly and efficiently. Most of our communication was via text which was best for me. Matt arrived on time, removed his shoes without our asking, listened to all of our concerns and answered all of our questions. In addition, he worked as quietly as he could as he realized we were working from home and were actively involved in meetings. He replaced our shower head with a better version, replaced our toilet seat with improved features that would last longer rather than the base model that would break sooner, investigated a window issue, and fixed 3 lighting issues we had. Matt explained what was going on and how to avoid some of the issues we saw in the future. We are happy with the work done, it was a pleasant experience, both professional and friendly. We would have no hesitation using their service again. read more

5 star work. The team was hired for a complex electrical situation in our 1987 garage. We moved in and realized we only had one working outlet in our garage and Matt meticulously inspected all the electrical and rewired everything, adding lights and extra outlets. He goes out of his way to ensure everything is done correctly and to code, which is rare these days. They don't make contractors like Matt anymore... he's truly a diamond in the rough. read more

Matt installed a new vanity and sink. The plumbing had been removed to the wall, so he put all that back in and made adjustments to the vanity and plumbing to ensure it fit against the wall. He responded quickly to my inquiry and communicated clearly. He cleaned up after himself and was very polite. He underpromised and overdelivered. We will be using him for some other jobs around the house. read more

I hired ASAP Remodeling to install a clothes closet kit I purchased from Home Depot. This group is extremely professional and top-notch in every way. Communication was consistent and clear all the way through and Matt went out of his way to accommodate my weekend request. His installer, Ben, showed up on time and got the job rolling, even realizing early on that Home Depot failed to package all the hardware necessary to complete the job. Ben told me not to worry, he can work around it and he did a GREAT job completing the project even earlier than I expected. Matt joined Ben to make sure everything went according to plan and helped and even did extra cleanup on the job, discarding the boxes and trash. The end product is a well-built closet that I trust will last a very long time. This is an excellent group and I will look to them for my repairs and builds in the future. Thanks! read more

Our rental in Encinitas was falling apart. They merely convinced us to move in because they told us they'd rip the carpet out and put in wooden flooring. That they did but low and behold 3 months later the wooden flooring is splintering. The plumbing door in my closet was falling out, bugs were getting in. Shutters were breaking. All of your rental nightmares. Nevertheless Matt came and fixed it all like a dream. He sets himself apart because he's truly the guy! We are moving to another state and rented our home to another family that needed some repairs done before they moved in.
