All wooden rails and posts are absorbing water and are rotting and warping. Has led to water intrusion all along the wall damaging wooden frames of doors and windows downstairs. Buyer beware!

Abraham Sr and Jr, the builders, are true craftsmen. They work hard, move fast, and were always open to dialogue when something needed improvising on the spot. Hardscaping wasn't part of the project. They're upfront that it's not their focus, so I brought in a separate company for that piece, no issue at all. While this isn't the least expensive deck builder in San Diego, the quality and honesty are there. Where I did blow past my original budget, John flagged it ahead of time, so it was never a surprise. We had a big 2nd story bedroom double pane window that the seal failed so it looked like amoebas were attached to the glass. They came out this morning, a crew of three, set up scaffolding and took the damaged window out and installed the new one in a matter of hours. I'm sitting in my bedroom now looking at a bird and expecting it to fly right in. You can hardly tell there is glass there, it's so pure and clear! My only regret is that their truck wasn't on our street 10 years ago! I would call them back in a heartbeat for any glass or mirror work we may need in the future! Call them!!!

Despite the powder coating being compromised, he felt it wasn't a spot rain would be able to sit - so therefore wouldn't rust easily enough to justify the cost. He told me it's a big job and wouldn't be cheap. So we agreed to do it at a later time if I really wanted it and was willing to pay. To my surprise, there was a minor defect in a completely different post that they caught and had to swap out (as in dig it out of the concrete, wasn't a small job). They came to do the job while I was at work - and to my surprise, they had swapped out the one my landscaper scratched also! I was SO happy and so touched! For them to do such a kind gesture, even knowing it was not their fault - speaks volumes about this company!! Hired to stain our teak deck. The stain faded badly within two months. When I complained, they came…read moreback and patched it rather than doing a full restain. That made things worse. The border boards are now a deep warm brown, the main deck surface is a washed-out gray. The color variation is severe and obvious -- you can see exactly where they stopped working. A professional fix means stripping and starting over. What we got was a cheap patch that highlighted the original failure rather than fixing it.
