We had Izzy from E & M Handy Services come out to repair a broken closet shelf and hanging bar that collapsed from too much weight. After assessing the damage, he recommended a solution that cost less than his original quote, which really spoke to his honesty and integrity. Izzy was professional, kind, and did excellent quality work. We've been searching for a great handyman to be our go-to person for various projects around our house, and we're so happy to have found him. We'll definitely be using him again for future projects. I've already recommended him to a friend and highly recommend E & M Handy Services! read more

Contacted E&M and spoke to Izzy about a small project I had in Corona as they are well rated and reviewed. He asked for some basic information and asked that I send it to him via text and that he would get back to me by the end of the day. Nothing. I texted him the next morning asking if he could do the job and provide a quote. Another day goes by. . . nothing. I go to their website and fill out a contact us request form. . . still NOTHING. Terrible customer service. read more

Had him scheduled to do a project a couple years ago only to get a text he was in hospital on the morning he was to begin and couldn't complete. Ok, understandable health issue, although it left me in a bind to find someone else quickly. Tried again a month or so ago. Talked to him on the phone, he expressed interest, texted and sent him a picture and address to go by. He responded he would go by in the next day or so. But, then ghosted me. I followed up twice by text, second time just asking him to let me know if he had any interest in the job. No response. He may be competent IF he shows up for a project but no excuse and very unprofessional to be unresponsive. He responded to my review he may have been busy but never deliberately ghosted me. Maybe not deliberate but ghosted nevertheless, however it is rationalized. My phone followup and text followup another week later were not responded to. A simple "too busy, sorry" text would only have taken a minute, been understood and not left me waiting for a response. These reviews document our experience. That was mine, read more

Izzy runs a great small business and did an amazing job in repairing our dry wall (more like our newly dry ceiling) from our AC leak. It was a dangerous location with our high ceilings but they were not only professional but timely. Repair, texture and paint all done in 1 day, done safely and with proper wrapping of tarps to help contain the dust. Fantastic job! read more

He's also a perfectionist, which really shows in the quality of his work. I'll definitely be calling him again for future projects. We hired Izzy to help with adding drywall, door and door frame to our home office. He was prompt and gave us a detailed quote upon the initial visit. After the first day of work, he let us know that his team wasn't able to finish everything in one day so he added a couple more days (asking what worked best for our schedule) and apologized for the delayed time frame. It was also mentioned that he could do skim coating, install wainscot panels and trim, which we will explore soon and get our office completed! read more

First of all Izzy is the nicest guy you'll meet. He was responsive and understood the situation. I had a crack on my ceiling that ran about 10 feet. The problem is I have 20 foot ceilings that is hard to reach due to a winding staircase right underneath it! Scaffolding needed to be set up and while it was complicated Izzy managed to set it up. The repair was done on time and he painted a portion of the ceiling that had prior patching done. Everything turned out well and I'm quite happy with the result. Done on time. I will definitely use him again for handyman service. read more

He was prompt, stuck to his word everything he quoted us. He is professional in the work he does and goes the extra mile to please the customer. The plans we had had the island to be off a few inches from being centered and even though he had already installed the island he went back and moved it to make it fit how I wanted it. He knows very well what he is doing and he is fair with his prices. He still has to come back 1-2 more due to some issues with our cabinets that delayed our project but I am fully confident he will see our project through until we are satisfied. I will post pictures when completed ;) Thanks Izzie! read more
