As the project manager, Mike Gast was extremely patient and accommodating, and provided lots of feedback to solve various issues. This was a large project that involved removing the garage door, retrofitting 3 sets of doors, framing and finishing for a custom look, inside and out. They even installed special thresholds so we could be assured of being able to roll equipment in and out of the space easily. After each stage of the job, the crew cleaned up the area and removed all debris. The price quoted us initially was in line with competitors, better than several, who failed to follow up with us. There was no cost-creep, and we finished at the price quoted us. Progress and payment was tracked on their online job project site, which was an added benefit and inspired confidence. I can highly recommend Mastercraft and hope to use them in the near future for several other home improvement projects. He talked in depth to my husband, who uses a wheelchair, to see what exactly his needs were for the space, and then he made it beautiful. We had a limited budget, and Michael's design and materials were very affordable and well within our budget. If an adjustment needed to be made, he was flexible and quick to find a solution. He also watched for discounts on materials and saved us hundreds of dollars that way. Often an ADA renovation can look antiseptic, but Michael found flooring and doors and other items that made our new bathroom modern and gorgeous. It has added value to our home.
