This is an honest review. I attempted to be fair and even edited my review to be shorter and more generous. Unfortunately, the owner continues his online crusade to discredit me and I'm backed into a corner to prove the legitimacy of my concerns. I've added a video showing yellowing throughout the house. This is not a moisture issue. When the work was finished caulking was not yellowed, but I found several areas throughout the house that were not caulked at all. I was also was unhappy with the gap between boards and the floor. The owner is correct when he says I signed a contract indicating that this would not be done. I was guided into this and later found out that it is not always standard practice. Nonetheless, I signed this contract and feel that it would be unfair for me to grade based upon this problem alone, hence the updated increase to my rating. When painting was finished I did voice my discontent with the way things turned out. The owner became defensive about his work. His strategy was to deflect these concerns as a me problem, rather than a workmanship problem. I can remember feeling pressured at the end of the job to agree that things were satisfactory and reluctantly paid. There was no call back to fix the yellowing because his arrogance turned me off. I did not want him back in my house. I've lived in the house for years, looking at my unsightly baseboards. Every time I walk through my hallways I'm reminded of how frustrated I am that I paid good money for this. I do not like publicly shaming a company, but in this case it's necessary. After years I finally posted a review. The bottom line is that the job is substandard. I have to have things repainted at my own expense and I'm very disappointed about it. read more

I used Vivify to paint my cabinets about a year and a half ago. I reached out and asked for a quote for touch ups. Phillip came to my house and I expressed I was a little disappointed in the quality and expected them to last longer than they did. He said my cabinets have wear and tear. Believable, I have a toddler. He asked if I have leftover product, which I said I did in the attic and we agreed I would send him a photo of what I had because it would depend on the pricing for touch up of they needed to order material or not. NEVER HEAR A PEEP after that. Responding to the comment: what was I unclear on? I told you I had product, sent you a photo and responded to you that the product was liquid. Phil and his team are amazing!. from the front office help, heather, they were on time, to quote, fast getting us quote and directions to start. Everything automated, text updates, scheduling and so professional. We used them for a smaller job a few years ago and this week they painted the interior vaulted ceilings walls and main area of our house. The crew, Danny and i forget all their names, but they all were on time, professional, friendly and accommodating to changes we made on the fly and put up with us coming and going with three kids in the house needing things from the painted area a bunch of times. I would highly reccomend them, and i've used several painters over my 25 years in the area. not any more. This review is long overdue. 2 years ago, Philip and his team came to paint our kitchen cabinets two years ago with Renner brand paint. Everything is holding up nicely. They remove them, sanded them down off site, and painted them. They also taped off the kitchen area to prevent spread of debris. We would hire them again. read more

Seriously the best customer service by far compared to other paint companies I have worked with in the past. They painted my home and made it perfect! Vivify paint was the only company out of several that took the time to educate and help us pick the right color, because we had our house painted two times prior to calling Vivify with a two week period and just couldn't get the right tone of gray, and nothing against the other paint companies as they did good jobs as well, but no one took the time like Phil did to help us select the right color and for that this is now my top recommended company.
