I waited 30 minutes before calling to see if something had happened. He answered and said "Oh, what's your address, I can be there in 20 minutes." He arrived 30 minutes later and gave us the quote. He took his time and wrote out exactly what we needed. His quote was thorough and seemed reasonable. The reason for my 1-star rating is because when we were ready to schedule, we called and called and no one ever answered. My husband also tried and left messages that were never returned. I know they are a busy company, but it shouldn't be that hard to schedule once a quote has been provided. Perhaps Doug needs to hire a receptionist to help with phones. We ended up going with another company and I'm so glad we did. They did a wonderful job! They were also Yelp verified and backed by a $2,500 protection by Yelp. We chose a smaller company where we had direct access to the owner and communication was never a problem. The owner was also onsite every day of the job.

I'm writing this as honestly as possible and not from a place of anger as I am not angered with them at all--"disappointed" would be the more appropriate feeling. I asked to have the exterior of my 2 story track home painted. They said they could do it and provided a quote and I accepted. They showed up as scheduled and got the requested colors and went to work. However, they didn't finish the job. They didn't paint the back or upper sides of the house, stating that my house was "by far the tallest house" they have ever painted and that they couldn't reach those areas. They took off $250 for the unfinished job, stating that's what it would cost to paint the rest of it, but unfortunately, I cannot find anyone willing to finish the job for $250-so I'm left with a partially painted house. On the plus side, the front looks great and the HOA is happy. My father-in-law said I should report them and make them finish the job and I probably would if I felt like they were deliberately being sheisty. But I don't think that's the case. I believe they did their best and that they just overestimated their capabilities. They were profusely apologetic. So, buyer beware, they're probably not the right company for the job of exterior painting of a 2 story home.

I was very happy to hear back from Andrew fast and also set a time and day for him and his team to come. They got there the very next week always on time and had everything ready. They were all very professional and very helpful. They painted my entire first floor and made sure they covered everything and took care of every detail. I am very happy with the outcome and the results of my house. We had a house fire in January and unfortunately and our insurance only covered the second floor paint in areas without doors. Andrew and his team painted all the rooms not covered by insurance and down stairs. They worked faster, and more efficiently than the contractors I had for my insurance work. I wish they did my insurance work too! So if you are looking for a contractor don't look anywhere else and just pick Rainer Painting Pros. Rainer Painting Pros -- Disappointing Interior Work and Poor Value for the Money…read more I hired Rainer Painting Pros to paint both the exterior and interior of my 1,568-square-foot home. I was okay with the exterior work, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the interior work. The interior project included painting approximately two-thirds of the house, excluding two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two closets, as well as repainting the kitchen cabinets. The project also included installing baseboards on the first floor and installing a few pieces of laminate flooring, all of which I supplied. I specifically requested that portions of the walls be retextured and that damaged baseboards and door jambs, including areas chewed up by my dogs, be repaired. The quote was substantial, but I agreed to the price because I was given the impression that all the areas of concern would be properly repaired and finished. I believed I was hiring professionals who knew what they were doing and could deliver the quality of work I was paying for. I expected the damaged areas to look new when the job was completed. Unfortunately, that was not the result I received. The attached photos show just a few examples of the finished work. They include rough and uneven patching, poorly finished wall areas, and damaged door-jamb and baseboard repairs with visible ridges, gaps, and exposed material. These are not the results I expected after specifically pointing out the areas that needed attention. What made the experience even more disappointing was being told that this was the best they could do. Given the price I paid and the expectations set before the work began, I found that response unacceptable. I was not expecting perfection, but I did expect proper repairs, professional preparation, attention to detail, and a finished appearance that justified the cost. My biggest complaint is the lack of value for the money. I agreed to a substantial quote because I trusted that the work would be completed properly. Instead, I was left disappointed with the interior workmanship and the response to my concerns. I strongly recommend that anyone hiring painters inspect the work carefully at the end of each day's work. If you notice problems, point them out immediately and ask that they be corrected the very next day. Do not wait until the entire project is finished to discover problems throughout the house. To be fair, I was okay with the exterior work. However, based on my experience with the interior painting and repairs, I would be very hesitant to hire Rainer Painting Pros again for interior work. We got what I knew to be a very good quote especially when you consider Hoffman's always does two coats - most do not unless you pay extra ( that's precisely why we're repainting after only 7 years). They did excellent stucco and wood prep. Every hole, scar, blemish, scratch and crack were patched appropriately. The level of detail was mind blowing (I've dealt with professional painters at least 7 times in my personal life). The care and concern for masking and taping not just windows, but every single potential issue was mitigated by covering or moving. Without being hyperbolic, the house looks new and light-years better than 7 years ago. They left no mess or evidence of having been here aside from a beautifully refreshed home. I did find that my suitcases and my cooler were victims of me not thinking about spray coming in the upper garage vent, but really think I should have thought about that.
