I had Brian paint my house in October, 2017, so it has been almost 8 years. A few weeks ago I went to pressure wash the house because it was dirty, and i mean, I PRESSURE WASHED this house. The house is almost 80 years old. It's a mixture of concrete block, wood, and repairs. I observed that after 8 years, only a very small bit of the "repairs" (unknown composition and origin) came off under the pressure torrent. After sitting in the direct sun and intense heat for 8 years, I was astonished that I didn't lose AT LEAST 20% of the paint. I had two metal security doors starting to rust. I contacted several painters for an estimate. Brian from Hoffman's Painting was quick to respond, provided an on-site estimate and a detailed estimate follow-up in writing. The pricing was competitive. Getting the work scheduled was a little challenging, but not enough to look elsewhere. As for the work, Nathan did the job by himself. He was on time, polite, efficient and did meticulous work. All surrounding areas were masked off and he cleaned up everything perfectly. I am very happy with the results and would not hesitate to use Hoffman's Painting again should the need arise. Writing a short and long review - feel free to read one, both or neither... Short - Home was painted Q3 '24. Exceptional work and attention to detail. Brian and the team are courteous, clean and attentive to homeowner needs. Open conversation project, it went very well. We are very happy with the final outcome of the job. We are painting the interior main living space of the house in '25, and will be using Hoffman's for the job. Long - Painting the entire exterior of the house is not inexpensive. With some of the horror stories out there you really want to make sure that the correct decision is made... but I'm no home paint expert, it is not an easy decision to make by any stretch of the imagination. Procrastination was inevitability the response over making a decision until I really started hating looking at the 24 year old home. I started with the community facebook page - asking for recommendations. I let this post stand for about a month and then tallied up the top four recommendations. From there looked up if the company was properly licensed and insured. One fell off, so then there were three. Obtained quotes from the remaining three. Inquired about the company, ownership and employees. Asked about the quality / brand of paint being used and why. One piece about Hoffman's is that the workers are employees of the company (I am guessing not 100% - but so for the most part) Brian has had the crew that worked on my place for years - and it definitely showed in the end. Two quotes came in about the same, one seemed a bit off (high), however I still followed to the next toll gate, which is I wanted a list of addresses that I could look at. I asked for residential jobs that were in the 1-3+ year old range. I did not want to just look at new, but something that was a good 3 years old. Received addresses from two organizations (the high quote fell out). All homes looked good, (there was one home that looked to have some rust showing through on the other company's address) however only Hoffman's provided some homes that were 3+ years old paint job and all of Hoffman's addresses looked really tight lined and clean. Moved forward with Brian and his team. Home was pressure washed mid week, just that part looked better. Team started the following Monday, took about a week to complete the job; they went so above and beyond. Team did more than what was quoted, just because they felt it would look better (and there was some extra paint). The side garden gate was old and falling apart so I took the opportunity to build a new one. The team removed the old gate and hung the new one which was incredible. I also have a covered back patio, which the team removed my sun shades for the paint and then rehung them after. Brian came out after the job was complete to look at the place. There were one or two touch up points I had noticed, however Brian had a list of items that he wanted the team to come out and straighten up. Even as I was looking at it, I was ok with it, however Brian was not and wanted it touched up. Touch up was completed within a few days. It has been a few months since the job was completed and the place looks great. I am very happy with the decision to use Hoffman's. As previously mentioned, we are getting the main living area painted in '25 and will just go to Hoffman's for this. read more

Recently we had the outside of our house painted by Hoffman's Painting. Nathan, Chris and Poli from Hoffman's Painting did an outstanding job. Every day they arrived on time and began work immediately. They worked together, coordinating their efforts to be as efficient as possible. They expertly prepped the house, ensuring a clean and quality product. During the day they'd check in with me if they had any questions on what color to paint certain trims or areas. Any time I had questions or comments, they would take the time to listen to me and respond with accurate information. At the end of every day, we'd walk the job where they'd explain what was done that day and what they expected to get done the next day. In my daily interface with them, I could tell that they cared about the quality of work they produced. The finished product produced by Nathan, Chris and Poli exceeded my expectations. All paint lines were sharp and clean with no overspray. Every "nook-and-cranny" of the house was sealed and painted. They worked cleanly, neatly and at the end of every day stored their equipment out of the way. Hoffman's painting is the real deal!!! If I could give them 10 stars I would... Let me start with the the quote. Brian kept in constant communication with me , was punctual and was very friendly. The facia board around my house was fading and the wood was starting to crack. I was nervous that I would have to spend a bunch of money to replace it, but instead of up-selling me, Brian told me he could fill the cracks with a thick 50 year paint that would prolong the life of the wood, and talked me out of spending more money to paint the eves and house at this time because they appeared to be in good shape. I was blown away when I asked him if he needed a deposit and was told I don't pay until the job was complete and I was 100% satisfied... Nobody does that unless they're going to knock it out of the park... And he ABSOLUTELY did!!! I felt like I was being a little too picky about the color, considering this was a relatively small job for him, but not once did he make me feel like I was being too critical, or that I was wasting his time. Sam (the painter) was on time, and Brian was here early to walk him through the job and give him the paint. He had Sherwin Williams mix the color three times to get it "a shade darker" to match my roof tile, just as I described. The other guy that was supposed to help Sam called in sick, but Sam didn't just half ass it to get it done, being that he was short a man... He ended up working a 12 hour day and went above and beyond my expectations... He layed 3 coats of paint on the areas of my house that get the most sun, and filled every single crack in the facia board, as promised... I was blown away!!! This is why this is a 5 star company, and Brian has a "waiting list"... Do yourself a favor and get on that waiting list... Best decision I've ever made!!! read more

I don't know if there are generous enough words to describe our homes transformation from the before and after look, thanks to Hoffman's painting. We purchased the home about two years ago, we loved it, but it wasn't really "ours".... It didn't have our touch or our feel to it. After following Hoffman's painting on social media (instagram) and seeing the time, effort, and care put in to each customers project, I contacted the owner Brian (through his scheduler Janice) for an estimate. Brian came out personally for the estimate. He didn't tell me what I "needed" in order to drive the price up, he simply told me "here's how I have my employees do the paint". Little details like under the facia matching the trim color, covering previous poor stucco patch attempts, sanding wood trim, etc..... he was INCREDIBLY detailed and not once said the words "this will cost X amount more". It wasn't an add on for their service, it was simply the right way to do the work. Then, he recommended colors for our house (at our request) since we really weren't too set on a color choice, we just knew we didn't like the way it was. All of this, combined with punctual workers, timely completion of the job, AND THEY STILL BEAT THE OTHER QUOTES I ORIGINALLY LOOKED IN TO. The simplest way I can explain it, is when the project was all done, we didn't say "I'm glad we got our house painted".... Our first reaction was LITERALLY: "I'm glad we chose Hoffman's Painting". I'd give him all the stars, the moon and the sky!! I bought a home via foreclosure that was in some desperate need of loving care and paint on the exterior and surrounding property walls. He surpassed my expectations, and having worked with painting contractors in the past, I knew what needed to be done and what to expect. He pointed out that there were some cracks in the stucco on the surrounding property line walls and how he would patch them - he also said he would fill and patch other parts of the house itself with stucco patch, matching the "design" - The patch job was flawless!! His pricing was very reasonable - and his interaction with me, his customer, was what basically sold me on using him.
