I have been searching for a long time for someone to do my stairs and rails because I'm very picky. Beach City Stairs did an amazing and beautiful job. Everyone one of their employees were very respectful, knowledgeable, and professional. Most of the time when I deal with contractors and workers there's always something that disappoints me. I am surprise I don't have any complaint about Beach City Stairs. My stairs/rails look perfect and professionally done. So highly recommended!

My wife looked BCS up and Matt came out to do the assessment & qoute. Steve & his crew came out to conduct the installation. "It's beautiful" the wife exclaimed. We just wanted to give the entire crew a hardy thank you. Very professional and prompt. We are very pleased with the service provided as well as the overall value. Thank you all for beautiful craftsmanship.

    The major project looks great.

Update: Kevin did reach out and our primary discrepancy was fixed. Thank you, it means a lot for a company to have a good follow up. Our initial assessment of the completed job was a five star rating. We then started to inspect the work and noticed a lot of discrepancies. My wife made numerous attempts to call the company and get (1) discrepancy fixed, but we were never contacted or had any follows ups. The protect, which was to replace our wood balusters with iron was successful and we're happy. The attention to the details is where we feel let down. After a few quotes from other companies that were lower priced, we paid more for piece of mind and were essentially let down.

Really good company to work with. My stair remodel went well and was really happy with the quality of work that was done. Matt was great to work with. Communication could have better at times and the project took longer than expected, but we are really happy with the result. I would definitely recommend them.

First, I would like to say that Tom was one of the best contractors I have had the pleasure of working with in all the contractors we had come in while gutting and remolding our house in 6 weeks. Tom came in and gave me a quote that never changed unless I added another service into the job! You can tell he is very passionate about making sure the details are on point and his customers are more then pleased. He kept me in the loop every step of the way throughout our staircase remold. Thank you Tom !! Josh was one of the guys that came in and did most of the painting, sanding and staining. He was extremely professional, kind, detailed guy! I trusted him to come into the house while we weren't there and he made sure to communicate with me when coming and going. Josh took a whole day to make sure our stair rail matched perfectly with our floors... he went back and worth getting different stains and made sure we were 100% satisfied with the color of the stain and he did a fabulous job! He really knows his colors !! Fransisco was the guy that came in a demoed the staircase, bent all the wood to fit the curves and also did the paneling and risers!! He was also so professional, knowledgeable and great! Thank you Tom for delivery a beautiful product as you promised! This staircase is the center of our home and after our house warming party last night everyone couldn't stop complimenting us on how beautiful it looked! Thank you for helping make our house a home!

This small family owned company should be recognized for their great service and prices. I would highly recommend them. Thanks for providing superior service.

We had a phenomenal experience with Beach City Stairs. (Nov-Dec 2020) The entire team is incredibly professional and made sure all of my questions, concerns, ideas were addressed in a timely manner. They also brought my 20+ year old home up to current safety codes for stairs, which was very important to me with a disabled child in our home. The crews arrived on time, were friendly, didn't wreak of smoke, didn't cuss and were very professional all around. Matt on sales and carpentry. Keaton on demo and finishing. Henrique on carpentry. Charlie and Josh on finishing & stain color matching magic and Steve on finishing. I can't forget awesome Amber working at all hours answering my emails and Mr. Ian the project manager that kept everything running smoothly. Bottom line: I love my new stairs and I HIGHLY recommend the team at Beach City Stairs for your stair remodel needs.

My handrail was custom made and installed in no time! Looks great. I just need to give it a quick stain and it will be good to go. Thank you Tom and Kevin.

Highly recommend Beach City Stairs! Researched and interviewed three stair companies for a stair remodel. Chose Beach City Stairs after meeting with Tom. He was very professional and listened to me and worked with me on figuring out how to achieve my vision on my budget. He showed up when scheduled and finished the job on the completion date. Also, finisher Eric did a fabulous job with the staining. When my husband and I saw the finished stairs we were delighted with the result! It is exactly what we envisioned! Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Kevin, Gabe and crew were phenomenal. I had stairs that were originally installed in 1980 with rustic runners and I purchased in Mar of 2021. When I saw the stairs I had an idea of what I wanted and they came through. The runners were sanded down before the new steps and railing was installed. Came out fantastic. Easy to work with and will help you with the design.

    Before - my 1970's stairs.

We replaced our 1970's white iron staircase railing with a gorgeous Maple and stainless steel ballusters. I researched about a dozen companies before settling on Beach City Stairs. I verified licensure, worker's compensation insurance, etc. I checked Angie's List, Yelp and called references. Hey - spending a few thousand dollars, I want to make sure I'm doing business with the right people! Kevin Label was great to work with. On time. Professional. Respectful. Great guy. I don't know the first thing about staircases so he educated me on the new regulations regarding height and gave me a rundown of how each day would play out (Day One: remove old staircase and begin build. Day Two: install rest of wood. Day Three: the finishers stained and finished and Day Four: was the ballasters). Easy Peasy. Shane and Travis and the rest of the crew were great. Each day we would review what was going to be done that day. And it was done exactly they said it would. They were a little late on one day because of traffic, but other than that everything went off without a hitch. For those of you about to get your stairs redone. Here is a tip: Don't underestimate the dust after the staining and finishers are done. These guys did a great job of sealing everything off, but that dust is so fine, it somehow finds its way through and leaves a super fine dust on everything. So be prepared. The crew told me that would happen, so I wasn't surprised. My favorite part (besides finishing the job on time and on budget) was the custom stain color. They custom-mixed the perfect stain to coordinate with my floors. It looks AMAZING. I highly recommend Beach City Stairs. A great value and a great quality of work. I'm going to try and update this review with photos and you'll see from the pictures that there is some touch up painting that needs to be done along the white wood under the moldings. I told Beach City Stairs to not worry about that part that I would have my painters sand and repaint that section since they are going to be here next week to do some other painting around the house. But look at those stairs. Stunning. Thanks Beach City Stairs!

I'm so happy I selected Beach City Stairs to do my stair case. I found the number on the home magazine, called and scheduled an appointment with Tom, but our schedules kept conflicting. I was anxious to know what the quote would be. After 3 re-scheduled we finally met, and I was happy with the quote. I remember Tom asking if I wanted to get a skirt, I was torn because I wasn't going to change my carpet. He said it would be better to get it done now but it was my decision. I would've saved a few hundred, if I didn't get it done, however I'm SO glad I decided to get the skirt done. WOW on how it gives the stairs an amazing look. The results were beyond my expectations! Their worker Francisco was amazing and detailed at cutting the wood to make sure it looked perfect.

Throughout the process, we felt pressured to proceed with the maximum financing available. We also did not receive a detailed cost breakdown from Ben and had to ask to speak to someone else. He told us many times "sorry, this is good as I can do, it's a bundle deal", which made us uncomfortable feeling like he was hiding prices from us. After obtaining additional estimates from other contractors, we were advised that several of the smaller handyman-type items included in the proposal appeared to be significantly overpriced. As a result, we requested that those items be removed from the scope of work. However, despite removing multiple services, the overall project cost remained essentially unchanged, which further raised concerns. We ultimately decided to limit the project to repairing our shower pan leak. At that point, Nathan informed that the company could no longer do business with us. Unfortunately, this left us feeling that the focus was more on maximizing the project value than on addressing our actual needs as customers. We value transparency, clear communication, and flexibility when making significant home improvement decisions, and our experience did not reflect those expectations.

The company stated that the waterproofing work was completed and documented. However, after that response was posted, new leaks continued to appear, including leaks in areas that had never leaked before. Additional damage occurred to my home, including hardwood flooring and interior finishes. The company also stated that it does not reinstall unsafe components. Yet I personally documented damaged and broken pillars being reused, and multiple workers told me they had objected to reusing them. Most importantly, the company has since involved its insurance carrier regarding the conditions and damages at my property. Their insurance consultant inspected my home on March 18, 2026. If the work was completed properly and there were no issues related to the project, I find it difficult to understand why an insurance claim was necessary in the first place. Since then, I have been repeatedly told to wait for the insurance process. Months have passed, no meaningful testing has been performed to determine the source of the continuing leaks, no repair plan has been provided, no leaking doors have been repaired or replaced, and the missing railings and pillars remain uninstalled. The most frustrating part is that my home is still left looking like an unfinished construction site while the company points to an ongoing insurance review as the reason for delay. I do not believe a homeowner should be expected to live with continuing damage and an incomplete project indefinitely while waiting for an insurance determination. I genuinely hoped this matter would be resolved after meetings with the company's ownership and licensing representative. Unfortunately, despite promises that things would move forward, very little has actually happened. I will continue to update this review as events unfold so that potential customers can make an informed decision.
