I was about 30 minutes early to my noon appt thinking that I would need to fill out new patient paperwork but it wasn't as much paperwork as I assumed there would be. The office isn't large but it's quaint. They do wipe down the instruments and chair after each guest, which is always something that should be done. Dr. Heaven was friendly and easy to communicate with. The exam was quick but thorough. He made sure I understood everything he was saying and asked if I had any questions. The ladies in the front were helpful as well, making sure I understood everything about my insurance and my options. I can't wait until I get my new glasses. read more

The doctor and staff are wonderful. I came in for an eye exam and contact lens exam/fitting. The doctor was knowledgeable and super nice. The staff is friendly and patient. They don't push any sales on you. I did have to come back a second time to try another lens, but that was because I asked to try a non-toric lens the first time. And don't be alarmed by the exterior of the building. We (husband and I) first met Dr. Heaven 3 years ago when he was the in house optician at Pearle Vision on Hammond in Sandy Springs. Over the years, we'd seldom come across an eye specialist who is as caring and concerned about the patients eye health. He communicates well so you understand any eye problems you might have. Not only is Dr. Heaven the consummate professional, he's friendly and cute. That can't hurt, can it? ;) Last year we learned Dr Heaven had left Pearle and opened his own business. YAY! When we got our eye exams and Rxs this year, we spent less because Dr.Heaven takes eye plans but doesn't mark up products as high as the chains. He will go the extra mile to find the frames you want, too. His staff are very helpful and nice too. His office/shop is conveniently located right off 285 across from Buford Farmer's Market. How convenient is that? You can dine at a nearby Chinese restaurant and/or shop at BFM when you go get your exam, or pick up your glasses or contacts. read more

I don't recommend this clinic at all. Unprofessional and rude. They accused my mother falsely My mother had an emergency and needed to be seen ASAP. Victoria was rude, pushed and cursed at my mother. accused my mother of having Covid19 and having a fever. I have a video saved where I take my mother's temp after the incident and it's 97.7. She has not been sick nor anyone in the family. Thanks specially when my mom needed help. I know I won't hear back or an apology because they don't care. These people are totally unprofessional and are complete liars. I called and asked what the cost of an eye exam was, and the receptionist told me $64.99. I then asked if the eye exam was free with the purchase of glasses, like many of their neighboring competitors, and she told me "yes." I get there literally 5 minutes later since we were already down the street and the lady at the front desk tells me the eye exam would NOT be free! The exam went fine about a year ago, but the glasses there are overpriced, at about $200 for the cheapest pair, without an anti-reflective coating. My problem with this place is that I was trying to use up the rest of the money in my Flex account, and my prescription was about 11 months old. They refused the order I placed online for more contacts, telling the online company that my prescription was expired, even though it was not. I was running out of time to use the money in the Flex plan, so I called Heaven Eye Care and said that I would like to buy more contacts, and they said they would allow it as a "one time thing." Gee thanks. Anyway, I went to Wal-Mart later that day with a set of unused contacts and tried to buy a couple more boxes. Heaven Eye care said that they would need us to Fax a patient info realease form, which we did. After waiting an hour and calling several times, they said they would not approve me to get the contacts until they served the customers in their office. I think they just didn't want me to spend money elsewhere. They refused to honor my valid prescription and as a result, the insurance company is keeping the $150 that was in my flex account and I need to find a new doctor... If you are planning on buying glasses or contact online at a more reasonable price than offered here, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

Dr. Heaven is very professional and a very nice doctor. He's extremely knowledgeable and is very caring about your eye health, addressing any questions you have. I previously went to another eye doctor in the area because I had symptoms of a corneal ulcer in my left eye, but that doctor didn't give me much advice on how to treat it nor did he prescribe any type of eye drops to help clear it up. I went to Dr. Heaven when my eye continued to get worse and he recommended me a new type of solution, which he gave me a sample of, and prescribed eye drops to clear up the infection. The problem went away in 1 week. I definitely recommend this doctor to anyone, whether you need a basic eye exam or if you have any worries about any problem with your eyes. read more
