After my positive experience, I recommended this place to my parents, and they were very happy with their glasses as well. There are a few things I really like about Italy Optical. First, if you purchase lenses or frames from them, the eye exam fee is waived, which is a great benefit. Second, the quality of their lenses and frames is excellent -- I've worn mine for a long time and they've held up very well. Third, both the eye exam process and the overall service are thorough and attentive. I also noticed that my vision has been much more stable this year, which is reassuring. Although my eyesight isn't perfect, I decided to try a slightly larger frame this time -- it definitely helps balance my smaller eyes and gives me a better overall look. I am so happy I choose this place as the care I received was above the bar. Parking is also very spacious as there are multiple businesses in this plaza. Upon arrival I was greeted immediately by the receptionist, who was very friendly and promptly assisted me. The wait time was short and they were ready for me as soon as I finished the new client paperwork. When it came time to see the doctor, she took her time, treated me very kindly, and above all I felt comfortable during the whole process. This is sooo important and made me feel great. I was pleasantly surprises at the total price. Ala, is very experienced & knowledgeable, gave great advice & answered all my questions clearly. Seldom do I meet such a dedicated health professional! I look forward to my appointments with Dr. B Patel because he is so friendly, educational & extremely funny. He truly loves what he does and cares for his patients eyes. During my appointment today I interacted with Teddy, Clay & Ramone who all welcomed me with a smile & positive experience. Teddy did all my exams before I saw the doctor & she explained each exam before performing them. I appreciated that she cleaned all of the machines in front of me as you can never guarantee if they were cleaned after the last patient. I opted to pay $40 for the Optomap Retinal Exam, a non-dilating procedure that captures a digital image of the retina & doesn't cause for your eyes to be dilated for hours afterward. After about a 10-minute wait, Dr. Hymowitz called me back, performed his exam while sharing insight along the way. His standard of care is good while his expertise in the staff he employs is evident as everyone works well together. Even with the current promotions, the slim selection of frames & steep prices kept me from purchasing new reading glasses at this time. The other option of replacing my current lens was pretty steeped as well. Nonetheless, a positive visit overall & I recommend Team Hymowitz for your eye wellness.

When I brought it her attention, she denied responsibility, was dismissive and rude, and did not offer any solution or compensation for the damage. I also observed an employee placing a ruler directly against the lenses while measuring PD. I do not remember the name of the woman I spoke to regarding the scratch.
