The damage had been done but with the help of Dr. Ho (my optometrist), and Dr. Ashraf (my ophthalmologist) as a team, they are trying to keep my remaining sight in my left eye in as best working order as possible. My left eye, though primarily really the only good eye that I have, doesn't escape the malady that necessitated the surgery of the right eye. There's still a possibility that blindness could happen in both eyes. My two Dr.s are working to prevent that. Laser surgery to correct my vision is out of the question. Because with sight in only one eye, if something goes wrong, I'm left totally blind. I also have a cataract ad glaucoma. Both are kept in check by them. It's a delicate garden that they traverse, and they do so as cautiously, carefully, and with my best interest in mind, it's as if they are prepared for anything thrown at them. I've gone to many other optometrists, with maladies like mine, you can expect to do so. Independents, chains, etc., I ow only trust my sight with my two doctors.
