I get fully synthetic oil changes which are over $100 here. They usually top off some of my other fluids, check the lights, tires, etc. I feel they only did the oil change. nothing else. I was in and out in less than 15 min. I do feel like they should have at least topped off my windshield wiper fluid.

I had a reasonable wait time, and while my car was being worked on, there was great communication informing me about the process, and if anything further may or may not be needed, at that time. There was a happy atmosphere amongst the employees, and it made it a pleasant overall experience. There was a nice crew working, that seemed genuinely happy at their job, which is rare and refreshing. I felt like a valued customer and intend to continue to bring my vehicle there for future oil change service. Thanks for the great service, Valvoline crew!! :)

My company car is managed by a fleet service and they sent me here because they were a preferred service provider. Tony was very friendly and after getting the information on the car, their technician got it into the shop within ten minutes. After testing the battery, they informed me that there was nothing wrong with it. They cleared the code that was generated by the low battery, drove it and rechecked it. I was very pleased that they didn't charge me anything for it and they got me in and out in less than a half hour. Car is still working fine. I highly recommend this company!

To top it off, the last time I was in, I heard one of the female employees offer to drive an older gentleman back to his house so he didn't have to sit there all day long. Seriously, the warmest folks ever. Their prices are a bit higher than elsewhere, but it is justified by their quality of work, communication, and kindness. They will inform you of any issues they identify on your car but are not at all pushy about getting the work done there. I'm not religious and was originally worried that I might feel uncomfortable coming here, but it's been nothing but a positive experience all around!

I no longer use Geico but I still trust this shop because of their honesty and transparency. The management here cares about its customers. ------------------------------------------- I had damage to my headlight mount and took my car here as part of an insurance claim. I would have never gotten this repair done because the estimate from Geico (that I provided the shop) was 1147, for something I would have just ducked taped had I not thought I would only be on the hook for my $500 deductible. I send the shop my estimate from Geico, they tell me they'll work with Geico if anything doesn't add up correctly. The part turns out to be on back order and arrives 3 weeks later, I take my car in, a few hours later I pick my car up with a bill for $1930. By this time, Geico had already sent me a check based on their estimate. Geico says the shop over charged me on both parts and labor. The part should have been just over $1000 but the shop charged me $1461, and labor in the area averages $65/hour but this shop charges $145/hour. Geico is refusing to do anything about it and the shop, as of now, is going with "these are our rates, we are a business, blah blah." Shame on me for not doing my homework. I trusted this shop as I had brought my car here many times for regular maintenance but I was clearly gouged and very disappointed with my experience.

Battery going dead so I bought a new one from Autozone. Battery still went dead so I took it to Midas. They said they would have to hook up the diagnostic machine up for $99 I said alright. Here is when the fun started. Nothing showed up which he said was normal for older cars. Why even hook it up then. Then they said the battery was bad so we got a new one from Autozone. Took it home dead battery next day. Took it back they said that battery was bad installed another took it home next day battery was dead. Took back in they said dome lights bad put in new ones took it home dead once again. This went on for four or five times. Each trip was overnight requiring my wife to pick me up before I said enough was enough. Took car home called Midas owner about a refund and he said the alternator was bad and wanted to charge me another two or three hundred to replace it. Unbelievable, the car is in my garage and he can tell the alternator is bad and didn't even have to look at it. He is good. The car only has 95000 miles on it. Ended up taking car to my normal real mechanic in Shakopee and in about a hour he found the door switch needed cleaning, bingo fixed for $183 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!Paid $430 to Midas for exactly nothing except guessing what was wrong.
