There are not enough stars for these guys!! I went to All…read moreImports & Domestic for the first time after going to Honest 1 and having a oil change and have them look where a small leak was happening under my car. After the oil change and before I left, they gave me a list of things that were "wrong" ($5800) with my car. One major one was the valve cover gasket leaking. ($1700+) Leaving Honest 1 with a terrible feeling in my gut, I decided to go to get a different quote. That is where All Imports & Domestic came into play. I called them and talked to Michael and we scheduled for me to come in that day to have them look at the quote I got from Honest 1. I knew I needed new tires and some front end work (Thanks MN roads) and Michael suggested that they clean my entire engine and put dye in the oil to see where the leak(s) and coming from. He sent me a quote for the engine dye, front end work and new tires and on Tuesday of this week, I dropped my car off, hoping they didn't find the problems the Honest 1 told me about. Michael called me in the afternoon to tell me that it wasn't necessary to do the dye test because it is a very minimal leak and that also saw that my car had the wrong size tires on there...so he ordered ones that were right. I picked up my car and had a bill that was a little more then one of the jobs Honest 1 would have done that wasn't needed. This is going to be my forever go to place when I need a oil change or anything else for my current and future cars. Thank you so much Michael for all your help, honesty and being straight forward with me!!!

I have also had neighbors bring there cars here and how I came to use them in the first place and over the last 20 years we have used them on and off. Never had any issue nor have any neighbors. I definitely would recommended this shop as trustworthy, reliable and dependable which I can tell you is not the case with all places you might consider in Eagan. One place I would stay away from and this is getting side tracked but a relatively new chain which has two locations in Eagan and while I wont explicitly name them I'll just say this about them. They are not HONEST and they market themselves as being that along with being women friendly repair shop. I have first hand experience, knew a person that was honest and worked there and left because he could not in good conscience do what they were asking of him. One being constantly up selling folks and trying to get unneeded work done. My experience along with friend who worked there has also been collaborated by neighbors and friends in the community. They have already gone through one owner but the new ones were no different in my opinion. Ok, I digress but try these guys are the complete opposite so out before you try any place claiming to be HONEST try the guys out or any other place for that matter. Don't just take my word but check out Google reviews where you can find 40+ reviews and 4.5 out of 5 rating. In my opinion, thats remarkable for a garage.

I found Sal's shop on Google and gave him a call. He sent a truck to pick up my car, and since I was already late to another meeting, he even gave me a car to use while he worked on mine. Less than an hour later, he called me back. Instead of trying to sell me a new tire (which I totally expected), he told me I didn't need one and just patched it up for a small fee. WTF, honest and fair. Most recently I went back for a wheel and tire upgrade on my brother in law's Yukon. Within a week he had me set up with a brand-new set, and he even washed the truck. Good mechanics you can trust are tough to come by. I got lucky to have found All Things. If you need tires or mechanic work, trust me, ask for Sal. He won't do you wrong. Instead of doing the work I asked for, they convinced me to let them replace all the brakes, even though they themselves had done the other side just seven months ago. The pricing was already higher than expected, but what really pushed it over the edge was the added 3% credit card fee. When I questioned it, I was told it was a fee from the credit card company. That is simply not true. It is a fee they chose to pass on. Be honest about it. Customers can handle the truth. We do not appreciate being misled. On top of that, the attitude was dismissive and disrespectful. If you are going to charge premium prices, at least treat people like they matter. I walked away feeling overcharged, talked down to, and frustrated. There are plenty of auto shops around Richfield. This is not one I would recommend.

Lol.....we exchanged words and then asked if I'm not able to get my lug nuts off will they take em off for me. Tricia and the mechanic Bill said once I leave the parking lot I'm on my own. Tricia is the worse manager I've ever seen in the history of an auto shop. Who calls their customer names? She called me a dumbass and so on, in exchange she got an ear full from me as well. AutoMax is has the worse customer service ever...if anyone needs work done I recommend Vidal Auto Services across the street from them. I took my truck right across to Vidal's, they looked at the lug nuts and said they are pretty much stripped. They said if they were the ones who stripped the lug nuts while taking them off they would of replaced them or been honest with me about it.

The new auto experience was sublime but then I realized I was only going 20 mph and making farting noises. An auto repair shop recommended Auto Max for exhaust problems, so I called them up and they told me to bring the car in. There was no wait and my Honda was immediately inspected by a mechanic. He showed me what was causing the problem and gave me a quote. He didn't use any salesman tactics on me or pressure me into a decision. Based on my few minutes of Google research, I thought the quote was fairly reasonable. Within the hour, my car was back into its old self and not making farting noises. While I sat in their waiting room, I watched the front desk person interact with customers and I noticed they were friendly and did not use dirty sales tactics. If you got car issues, you'll be in good hands at Auto Max.
