Chef tasting Mushroom
Maureen W.

We have been wanting to try this place for a while now. Had a date night there. We both ordered the chefs tasting menu. This is the way........ I went with the NY strip and the husband with with the salmon. Our service was lovely, had great recommends for cocktails and wine and was very attentive. The atmosphere is relaxing and nice. It just needs a makeover with some updating. The salmon was so good we had to ask who the chef was that cooked the dish. His name was chef Juan so we had to get a picture with him! Give this guy a huge raise, he is incredible and his skills are amazing!!! Do yourself a favor and come try this gem in Otown!!!

Came here while on a work trip. It was Monday at 530 pm and the place was dead. Nice ambiance with soft music. Very relaxing but inviting. Quant little restaurant. The waitress was sweet and atrenrivedid the chefs tasting for $50. You select a main entree and dessert and they bring out other courses. 8 courses in total and it was exceptional!! A must try. Everything was so so good! So many different flavors bursting in my mouth.

I went to hearth tonight for my anniversary and had the best experience. YALL. Come for the ambiance and amazing cocktails, stay for the octopus. It's a new addition to the menu and absolutely blew me away. Our server was amazing and timed our chef tasting courses perfectly. This was a special occasion and such an amazing experience.

My view from the restaurant

Food was great. I had the shrimp plate and a glass of wine. They also provided a complimentary chef's tasting sample and bread with a lemon olive oil. The flavors were unique and I enjoyed every bite of my meal.

Salmon main plate and amuse bouche

The food was tasty starting with the complimentary amuse bouche. We ordered the beet salad and the panzanella salad and both were so tasty. For main entrees, I had the salmon which was prob about 3 ounces of fish. Hubby ordered the beef dish. Both plates were on the small side, and had we not ordered the salads, we prob would still be hungry. Everything as good until about half way through the main course when the waitress asked if we wanted dessert or another drink. She brought us our check before we were even done eating. It felt rushed and there were plenty of seats. It was a terrible ending to a nice dinner. I'm not sure why she felt it necessary to do this. BTW they automatically add 20% gratuities. There are so many places in Ogden to eat, not sure we will come back.

Summer tasting menu

As always the service was impeccable. We came to try the fall tasting menu, but they still are in their summer tasting menu I guess. I was a little disappointed because I was looking forward to the pumpkin dessert but the strawberry dessert I got was amazing anyways. I love the tasting menu here. It's so fun to try multiple things. I didn't love 2 of the items but they are not large so I didn't feel like I wasted money or anything, my husband just ate the few bites left. If you are not adventurous or willing to try new things this might not be the place for you. If you enjoy trying new dishes and exploring new flavors I highly recommend this place.

I really enjoyed a quiet, intimate dinner here for my birthday. We watched the sunset from our table, and stayed for an appetizer, main, and dessert. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. My salmon was tender and seared, something that's so often hard to do right. Braxton, our waiter, was attentive and kind as well. I look forward to visiting again for their spring menu.

Duck sample, literally amazing.

Easily one of my favorite restaurants in the area. We tried the winter chefs tasting menu, with 5 courses. I'm not normally one to step out of my comfort zone with food but everything I sampled was amazing, I even thought for a moment to ask for seconds of a few of the options. For my large plate I ordered the chicken option, and it did not disappoint, flavor was on point, the portion was quite large, and the breast was so tender, flavorful, and moist. Our waiter was exceptionally attentive, despite being busy, we sampled wines and when I had chosen a favorite he acknowledged that, explained the wine in great detail and offered to pour me another glass. I love the atmosphere this restaurant brings to 25th, it's intimate, romantic and well thought out. There's nothing quite like it in the Ogden area, and I hope that everyone will give this place a chance even just once, it's totally worth it. I will most definitely be back to try the spring menu.

Delish and unique meals. Menu changes seasonally so you get something different which is refreshing, that is -- if you are adventurous.

Pretty pricey for the serving sizes, but flavor is there. The charcuterie has a nice selection, the salmon entree is teeny.

Nice place, friendly service. We thought it was a little overpriced for what it was.

Refreshing. Delicious. Great service. Try the seasonal sampler - it's a fun way to try a variety of their dishes.

Absolutely wonderful food and great service! The best food in Ogden, if not all of northern Utah.

The restaurant has nice…read moreambience--it was busy but not too loud, and the design felt modern and inviting with tons of natural light and well spaced tables. One odd thing--they use table clothes but then put paper on top. This felt a bit off for the fancy atmosphere they were trying to create. We had lots of delicious food. Our meal started off with the Daily Bread & Butter and Caesar. Both paired well together. For entrees, I had the Wagyu Zabuton, which was cooked well and was paired with flavorful sides. My husband had the Lamb Chops, which were beautifully plated. All the cocktails were amazing, but my favorite was the Madam's Choice. They didn't do anything special for anniversaries, but it was fine because we were full of food and took the leftovers home. I'm excited to try this place for Sunday brunch next!

The flavor palette is just absolutely exquisite and will justify your coming here. ...and on that note. I had to wait what felt like an epoch for my delicious, chicken-y reward, and despite the size of the restaurant and relatively tame level of busy-ness, wait staff still took their sweet time and did not get bread out in a timely fashion. The ambiance is like 'millennial interior design final boss' - imagine being trapped within the pages of Magnolia Table, and everyone looks and sounds like the first Google results for 'hipster'. I wouldn't mention this if the smarminess of staff didn't compound the frustration of having to wait forever for like three pieces of bread. So, if you're in the area and have a refined palette that craves rich, delicious flavors against a backdrop of open French windows, I'd say go for it. The food definitely outcompetes the annoyance I felt. But seriously, get the chicken sandwich.

Everything on the menu sounded really good and I def had a hard time choosing what to order. Next time I come back I'll prob try one of the more classic German dishes Donerteller: 5/5 I really liked everything about this dish except for maybe the light orange sauce. They don't take reservations but I called ahead as the staff suggested to get a sense of the expected wait time. I called again to say we were on our way and When we arrived the hostess was more interested in answering the phone than helping to seat us. Over and over again she ignored us and kept us standing with all the other hopeful patrons in the tiny waiting area. With several open tables. Wtf? Finally she came to the conclusion she could seat us. Get a plan. The wine list is decent but unless you can educate your staff as to what's on offer and how to help your guests, why have it? This is typical of utah eateries. I get it. You're hamstrung by the alcohol laws to some extent but if you're going to offer wine, make the effort to educate your staff if your patrons have questions. Once ordered, our entrees came out so fast as so suggest they'd been prepared and sitting under a heat lamp. The glossy thick and cloying sweet gravy of the sauerbraten would assume nothing less. This place has promise but it's small and noisy. It was packed by 6 pm on a Friday with large parties of families toting kids in strollers. If you're looking for something quiet and intimate, you might find it on another nightie somewhere else.
