Usually I grab food to go when I'm at a rush and I'm always happy with the service but today I order my turkey panini pesto sandwich with fruit and when open my plastic container where it comes my sandwich was soggy from the fruit that I ended with no food and money thrown away. Unbelievable service, healthy menu, decent selection of sides, friendly staff, Great desserts, and reasonable pricing. I have eaten here 8 times in the last month,and I try something new everytime. Tried this place for the first time today and I'm pretty impressed! The things that stood out to me: -Friendly staff: the cashier took his time explaining the menu and recommendations to me. I felt very welcomed. The staff here seem genuinely happy and nice, as opposed to customer service nice and it reflects in the atmosphere/ambience of the place. I even saw another staff member ask a guest about a book he was reading. - Delicious food at a fair price: true to their word, they serve healthy and delicious offerings. They don't skimp on the avocado. I frequent Mendocino Farms but I'll probably start coming here instead. Their food has a home-y quality to it. Pricing is also reasonable. I got a full sandwich and side of soup for about $12. Other places these days probably charge closer to $15 or would only be half portion. -Tajin on the table: all tables come stocked with salt, pepper, and a bottle of tajin which I love and just automatically earn bonus points :) read more

I feel so blessed that I stopped in with my Dad right after his Radiation iV over at City of Hope. Ritchie the owner is genuine and took his time to get to know us even though he had many customers. He lifted our spirits and gave us the best vibes. Called us by first names. I felt so welcomed and it really made my dad happy. The atmosphere is just tranquil fresh and spotless. One of the cutest cafes I've seen! And I'm a foodie. The food is clean and tasted perfect. We tried the pesto wrap and farmer wrap with fresh fruit and fresh ice teas. When I walked in the place smells like a fresh vegetable garden. It was clean and I was ready to order. I tried the vegan Caribbean sandwich on whole grain. It was tasty and flavorful. I had the lemonade and the fresh pressed juice which was also good. We had the Greek wrap which was not a hit with us. I did not have this, but my party said it was dry and lacked flavor. (We are used to authentic Greek wraps so that could be part of it as this seems a healthier take on it, idk.) I'd give them another try on other items. I like that they let you sample the drinks/teas before buying. All in all not bad. My favorite was the vegan brownie. It was lite , moist and just everything to me. The 2 is for the food alone I ordered the half sandwich walnut pesto with tuna protein. My sandwich was missing the protein and somebody missed the mark on this one. It looked like someone was too concentrated on using the panini machine and forgetting to look what's actually in the sandwich. Very disappointing. The customer service was great they had no problem replacing the items that were missed on our order. Just frustrating to have to go back but I should have checked before leaving. I went with the italiano panini which was tri-tip, grilled onions, roasted red peppers, provole, garlic aioli on toasted sourdough bread. I opted for no giardiniera. The sandwich was not cheap at $9.25 but it was good. Still not worth the price considering I got a bag of chips because it isnt the biggest of sandwiches and I would be left still hungry. They carry Miss Vickie's sea salt potato chips so that was good. The tri-tip beef in the sandwich was tasty and combined well with the grilled onions and red peppers. Sandwiches cost about $9.25 but you get a whole sandwich with your choice of fruit, salad, or chips. It was my first time coming here and the sandwiches were a hit or miss. I ordered the walnut pesto with turkey and it was consistent with every bite. You get a little bit of everything with your toppings and it was very generous with toppings. My boyfriend ordered the Caribbean w/ tritip. The sandwich was okay.. very flavorful but not always in the best way. It tasted a little overwhelming because of the sauces and sweet onion didnt go together with the tritip.We both agreed the walnut pesto was the better choice. There is limited selection on smoothies but we opted to get the all fruit smoothie. The smoothie itself was delicious. Simple ingredients yet very refreshing for a hot day. You get a free shot of protein with every smoothie order which was very convenient after a workout. read more
