This is some great breakfast! Everything is made hot and great tasting. Especially the mexican style breakfasts. The coffee always tastes great to me and I absolutely love the decor and home town feel of the place. Molly does a great job keeping us filled with coffee and getting us what we need for food. Sometimes though she can be over ran with customers and service can take a while. That is great for business, but is the only reason I can see dropping one star. Some day I will try their lunch and see if they can do that just as good. Also, check the special board. Very cheap breakfast can be had for less than $4. Awesome deal every day! read more

Great hamburgers!!!! I was very skeptical about even eating there because it looks a little sketchy on the outside. My friend's father told me that they had good burgers so I gave them a try since the food selection in Maricopa is so scarce. And the burgers are good!!! It smells a little stale inside so I have never ate inside I always do Togo and I have only had the burger and fries. read more

Extremely disappointed on last two visits. Have been going to this restaurant for years food is great and I understand since it's a small restaurant the service can be sometimes slow. The last two times my wife and our friends have gone the waitress with the red hair and neck tattoo has been extremely rude and unprofessional. We would ask for things for the table such as refills or condiments and either get a huff and puff or the items would never come. My wife and our friends had her as a waitress again on 02/28/2020. The restaurant was as full as I've ever seen it but she was yelling at patrons and my wife and my friends wife and daughter asked numerous times for a refill only to be ignored. Then when we went to the register to pay she was eyeing us the entire time and whispered to another waitress to come ring us up. The other waitress was very polite and apologetic. My group has done nothing to this lady for her to go out of her way for anything I will continue to eat here but hopefully this review is seen by someone in the restaurant so they can address her. read more

Goin old school with this restaurant The place is a bit run down. It still has old wooden panels. However, the food isn't too bad. It's not the best I've had in town. But the prices are reasonable, the plates are not skimpy, and the service is good. Our waitress took good care of us. She kept our table clear, refilled our drinks, and helped us if we needed help. I like how the menu is set up. They are breakfast, American food, and Mexican. My wife was able to get her loaded burger with lots of bacon. I got this huge beef chimichanga loaded with cheese. I also like their chips and salsa. This is I great home town cafe that I hope sticks around. We will return. read more

So I've been living in Copa for some time now and I see we are all searching for a good place to eat and headquarters could potentially be that place for some down home cooking but order to go if you decide to try this place. Every single time I have made attempts to dine in, the customer service is horrible. I don't ask for much, I'm not demanding and I generally have a nice attitude but the waitresses seem to always have RBF. They act as if I'm bothering them and impeding on their time. I don't understand if you are serving people , why would you choose to work at job working with people.? Customer service is so important to a business. My fiance and I came here for the first time a few months ago. The portions are very huge but my goodness, no flavor whatsoever! My ground steak had absolutely no flavor. C'mon! Please add some flavor to the food. A little salt and pepper wouldn't kill. Then my fiance had enchiladas with beans and rice. She didn't like them and I wanted to see for myself. I tasted the rice and again, no flavor. Beans, no flavor and no flavor on the enchiladas. The pankcakes were great that I had but it's not hard to make pancakes. I won't be going back. Be prepared to be transported back to 1954 in this wood-paneled greasy spoon. The food is decent and the service has always been prompt. They have both traditional American diner fare as well as Mexican options. I've only ever been for breakfast and breakfast burro is indeed tasty. I do wish the Mexican side of the food had a bit more of a kick and freshness, but hey, some bacon and eggs on a lazy weekend morning is fine by me. read more

If you like a warm family atmosphere an good food. Each table has it's history of businesses in Maricopa an some history of the family that owns this resturant. The real wood panel walls gives you the feeling of a cabin with a touch of Mexico. They have a business card cork board to post your business or items for sale. This business supports community business with a real team attitude. They have a full bar seperate from the resturant on the side which also allows events to be held. it's always good for a community to have a business that supports Community events an businesses. This is a great resturant to support an visit. read more

Funny story. I would like to respond to Britt V's review. I was the guy sitting next to you when you asked your waitress about the oj. She politely explained to you the difference in a large and small. Obviously a juice cup wont be the same size as a free glass of water!! Do you go to bars and expect your shot to be the same size as a pint? Use common sense! Pretty sure seeing you type that you wont be returning will be music to their ears! Do you go to the grocery store and expect to not pay for things? And sitting at the table complaining it was taking too long to run your card is ridiculous. She ran all of your cards in clear view of you, so it was obvious she wasnt doing anything but tending to your checks. Learn to read a menu. If you cant do that you should probably stay home. Life gets harder from there. And let's be honest, you used your oj as an excuse not to tip, like the cheap people you are. Dont worry, I made up for your tip! Sun rise cafe is MUCH better plus has more cleaner seating. The absolute only reason I go her is for my husband and Molly she's a very nice good waitress but the last time I was there, we had a new waitress who was absolutely terrible and rude It only took 10 minutes to get my drink then never did a single one of us get a refill extra napkins nothing just a 30$ check! Not worth the money I was so upset about the price vs the quality of the greasy breakfast burrito. Amazing little local restaurant. Reminds me of a small town café from the 1950s. Older building, but always jammed for breakfast. Along with the traditional food, they also have a slight Mexican slant. Can't beat the price of the breakfast special. It seems like this is where many of the original Maricopa farmers and contractors love to eat. A different but very nice fish fry on Friday nights... not your traditional batter coating, but some type of "rub". We've been there several times for the fish. read more

I give Headquarters four stars more for the comfort and familiarity factor than the fine dining experience :) We often head to Headquarters for breakfast and it is standard diner type breakfast and always good. I usually get an omelet but my boys love the French Toast and pancakes. Headquarters does not call itself a Mexican Food Restaurant but there is lots of Mexican Food and it is muy good. I always order the green chili chimi with red sauce. It is always good with a very homemade feel. read more

The bacon/cheese burger is better than the other food that I ordered in the recent past. The french fries--when ordered well done--are better than I had here in the past. Breakfast is wonderful. I totally love love love the Enchilote (no doubt not spelled right ) a cheese omelet covered with enchilada sauce. Comes with refried beans but you want to upgrade to the Mexican Pappas oh my they are incredible. Lunch and Dinner are pretty ordinary but good. Prices are good. read more
