I researched Bear here on Yelp & the company was even BETTER than the 5 star reviews. I had overslept due to said anxiety keeping me up until 4am the night before. They waited for me patiently when I didn't answer the door, didn't answer the phone, or respond the text. I was KNOCKED OUT & didn't hear my 5 alarms! I did however hear my cat HOWLING telling me, WOMAN GET YOUR #### UP! Bear Could have easily just left. I had been holding off on getting these things done due to said anxiety so going thru finding someone else & scheduling again would have been pure horror for me. I am so grateful they were EARLY & had some extra time to wait for me. I also had a big event (Yelpies) the same day so I was so concerned about being late but Bear was 15 mins early which to them is how they operate. They had my 8 requests we aligned on up & memorized. They have a process & the output is QUALITY and beating customer expectations. I promise you this company will beat your expectations. If you are curious what they did for me, below is my list: 1. Sent a request through Yelp and was contacted by Russell Electric. He wasn't able to make it until Wednesday. After our conversation he decided to come out that same night. (I had just lost a lot of food with the old frig and was rather frustrated with it all) It was 9:45pm. It took him 45min to an hour. Fixed the issue in like 15 min and made sure all was well before he left. He knew what he was doing and he explained it as he did. He gave me some information about the breaker and put my mind to rest. Friendly, courteous and just all around great guy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MAN! Fernando texted me 20 minutes prior to his arrival and he arrived within the estimated time frame. The work was done with care to our home and with awareness our desired outcomes. I am pleased with the work completed and thankful that Fernando communicated an unforeseen complication to part of the project. I had options for payment and received a receipt promptly after paying. We are currently in the process of scheduling our next project. Even though it was late on a Friday afternoon, he showed no signs of fatigue at all and was completely focused on the work. Fernando is a super nice, gentle, and honest person. The pricing was fair, and he left the entire work space super clean and neat when he was done. He conducted himself very professionally from start to finish. We hired Austin's Texas Electrical Services of Austin (TECL #29127). One part of this was…read moreinstalling an outdoor outlet, which requires running a conduit. For this they used a flex conduit and to hold the flex conduit outdoor-rated fasteners need to be used. This was clearly not the case, as there is corrosion and rust clearly visible on the fasteners that were used to hold the conduit (see pictures). I'm sure of this because we also had conduit installed by another electrical contractor for another purpose on a similar exterior wall on the other side of the house that has zero corrosion on it. I reached out to them several times over the span of 4 weeks regarding this, and didn't hear back once. I also specifically remember that the person sent out to do the work was very rude and difficult to work with. This was particularly relevant for hanging a chandelier, since it ended up crooked and he didn't ask for feedback until after he had already taken down his scaffolding, and wasn't willing to put it back up. So to this day we still have a misaligned chandelier. Cost isn't all that matters. For what this level of quality you're better off either learning to DIY, or paying more to hire a better company if you want everything done right and good customer service.

They cracked the drywall and will not reimburse for the repair…read more I had a new direct line ran for a new outlet to the circuit box. When they were in the attic running the wire down the wall to the circuit box, for some reason they had a issue getting the wire down the wall. Whatever tool they used cracked the drywall directly on the other side of the wire. It was a pain having the drywall fixed. I had to remove my TV for the dry wall guy, take time off of work, and have the whole wall painted so it would blend in and not look like a patch job. The owner said he would reimburse me for the bill for the repair. I sent him a copy of what I paid the drywall guy but he has not gotten back to me. It is very hard to contact this company, if you call you will find you always get voicemail. I should of known better. Very dishonest company, I would stay far away from these guys even for a simple job like mine. Update 1: The owner texted me to let me know he intends to reimburse me but he has just been to busy. It's been over a week and I have not gotten any refund, so I feel there is dishonesty in this. Update 2: The owner never reimbursed me. As I suspected, he was lying. I lost quite a bit of money for a relatively simple job. If only I chose another company.

All were prompt in their responses and provided well written proposals. Only Grayzer included the cost of a permit in their proposal. Further a friend had their wall panel upgraded and their Tesla Wall Connector installed by Grayzier and recommended them highly. After looking at the reviews for the different certified installers, and given that a permit is required in my town to install an EV charger, I went with Grayzer. They provided a date and service window ( a week in advance of my appointment ) and the electrician, Max, pinged me about an hour prior to his arrival. I showed Max my ideal location for the Tesla Wall Connector and he was able to accommodate without having to cut away any drywall or running conduit outside the wall ( YMMV ). Very friendly, professional and knowledgable. He took the information/pictures required by Tesla and by my town's permitting authority, commissioned the Wall Connector, showed my how to add it to the Tesla Application on my iPhone and verified that it was charging at the specified rate (48 amps). He was happy to answer any questions I might have, and I am just delighted by the service and work done. I would recommend highly to friends, neighbors, et al. All in all, quick, fast, efficient, and professional. Cleaned up work area when done. Thank you!

I arranged for 3 quotes and the first company came and found all kinds of issues and safety hazards that were quoted around $17k to fix. A second company gave me a quote via text and then Julian from Harper's had given me an estimate over the phone but agreed to come out in person to take a look double checking that first estimate of work we got from the other guys. When Julian saw the main concern with our box, he quickly and simply stripped a wire and fixed it while explaining to my husband what was happening. Then he did a walk through and suggested things we need to do to make our home safe. My husband instantly feels comfortable with Julian and crew and we are excited to book them for the install. I am closing out my "project" search here on Yelp and wanted to give them credit for scoring our business. Unfortunately, they do not have record of receiving a call at 11:30 PM back in late July. We rely so heavily on technology these days. But it is not 100%. As the business owner, a follow up phone call to let us know our service (ie: call center) failed you would have been very much appreciated. Unless we know, we can't make it right & do better. We will look into this as soon as possible so that it doesn't happen again. We do stand behind our work & provide the best customer service we can. Mike Holloway and his team at HD Electric far exceeded our expectations. We had to contract a big job that included permit coordination, inspection and and a host of interior improvements. The work required two separate visits and on both occasions HD crews were well-staffed, on time, efficient, courteous and very professional. It did not go unnoticed how efficiently the HD crews worked and how much they accomplished in a given unit of time. Their communication was friendly and thorough. They also contacted me when interruptions in their schedule occurred, and we problem-solved together. They came back the same evening to address an undetected bad breaker. Since the electricity was off when they did their earlier repairs, there was no way to detect that the surge had fried that breaker. Their goal was to get my power back on. I appreciate that focus on the result and not just the tasks. The billing was transparent. Not inexpensive, but clear and fair for emergency service. I got what I paid for and I'm happy.

After I reiterated that I only needed help with the light fixture, he became argumentative and told me the job "wasn't worth his time"--despite already being there as agreed. The interaction felt very unprofessional and uncomfortable. He also attempted to upsell me on other projects I had never contacted him about. Overall, he came across as pushy and more focused on upselling than on providing honest, respectful service. Editing to respond to Eugene's message to me: Hi Eugene, I read your message and I want to respond honestly. You were hired to safely install a single chandelier and correct what the previous handyman had done wrong--which you agreed to do. While I appreciated your help initially, I made it clear during your visit that I had already hired someone else for the sauna project. I politely declined when you pushed to take it on. After that, your tone shifted and you said the light fixture job wasn't worth your time, which made me very uncomfortable considering you were already at my home. I reached out the next day to see if you could finish the job, not to demand anything or be rude. I did not threaten you--I simply expressed disappointment in how everything unfolded. I stand by my review, as it reflects my genuine experience. I hope you'll understand that feedback isn't personal--it's about helping others make informed decisions, just like I tried to do when I hired you. After giving them a multitude of changes, I can honestly say I would not allow them to touch…read moreanyting on my property. Our first experience was when I had them wire a 50 amp rv outlet on our house. With in two days, the breaker exploded, becasue they had installed the wrong brand breaker into the breaker box, causing the entire box for the house to explode. Luckly, nobody was hurt, and it didnt casue a fire. I called, and they let me know that they had fired the electrition that had come out, and send a different person out, who replaced the entire panel in the house. I than had them out to run 6 RV boxes, and set up a new, 400amp service for a commercial property. They qouted me a 2 day turn around time, and let me know they would handle everything, which seemed great. All seemed good, untill we got the City inspection report back, and failed. Not only had they attempted to submit this as a residental project, which it wasnt, they installed two seperate boxes, a 150, and a 200 amp service to try and avoid having to get permits for a comercial service. After, a literal year, we finally passed inspection. This all leads us up to my most recient challenge. One of the boxes they installed stopped working properly, so I went to take a look, to find it completly fried. I called a licenced electrition (not them) to take a look, and we quickly found the issue. None of the plugs had ground wires run to them. They just left that hole blank, which meant that there was no way to trip the breaker if it surges, causing it to explode. The new electritians exact words were "oh my god, this is how people die". I now, have a multi thousand dollar repair on my hand, but on the bright side, nobody died.

They've done three jobs--large, small, and medium-- for our family with good results. They just finished running a new circuit to our garage this evening, and did extra work, dispensed spare parts and offered useful advice in the process. Bonus points for knowing their way around the arcana of older houses!
