I got all the way home then called and told them id be on my way back for the food and asked for a gift card to cover my time and fuel he laughed at me and said no thank you then hung up on me. I got there and I asked for the boss and he said no thank you again. as the conversation continued he told me to fuck off two different times. Had a decent lunch yesterday at the HC Way. It was my first visit and I liked the do-it-yourself menu option. I had roasted pork stir fried with all the veggies served with Hunan sauce and steamed rice. The price was reasonable for the large portion. The food was delivered to the table quickly and looked great all of the colors from the fresh ingredients were still intact and not lost in saucy goo as can sometimes occur in Chinese food. The sauce had just the right amount of spice and the veggies were hot but not soft. Overall, I thought the food was great. My one complaint was that there is no airlock entrance so every time someone went in and out, there was an icy blast through the North-facing door, felt even at the furthest tables. The place was probably about 64 degrees, which is pretty nippy and which knocks them down a star. read more

Look, a high-falutin Asian restaurant it ain't; but for a fast service/fast food kind of establishment it definitely tops the Chinese food stands at the mall. They offer stir-fry that the customer can customize- and their vegetables have always looked and tasted fresh. Tonight I had stir-fried veggies with the roasted pork and Mongolian sauce; and though I agree with a previous review that the sauces can be a little thin, I found the Mongolian sauce very tasty and even a little delicate. And I'd certainly prefer that to thick and bland! The pork was a little dry, but didn't really detract from the overall dish. All in all it was satisfying. I also had the Miso soup, which was very flavorful and had fresh bits of garlic and scallions. In the past I've had the pad thai and have been very pleased- I've definitely had alot worse! Just make sure and specify "not spicy" if you are heat-sensitive- they tend to run spicy, which is fine with me. I can be a huge Chinese/Thai food snob, yet I would highly recommend HC Way if you wanted something quick, tasty, fresh, and not too heavy. read more

Tied with a few others as one of my favorite Asian restaurants I've ever been to! The ingredients are all fresh, nothing is frozen or processed and you can tell by the taste of the food. The decor and presentation is vibrant and inviting. The kitchen looks very clean and organized as well. The sauce is very flavorful but also doesn't feel unhealthy to eat at all. I got great service from Tony tonight. The chefs obviously know what they're doing and are very very efficient by pumping out fresh and hot food in a very timely manner. Very high quality restaurant in general and I see this establishment going very far into the future with its amazing menu, service, and food. Ordering online for delivery isn't the way to go with this restaurant. We ordered sesame chicken, requesting all white meat if possible. I won't lie - this place has fairly standard, filling but not amazing food. The main draw is that it's cheap, it's fast, and it's not overly greasy. The limes are usually a bit brown in places, so if you get a wedge with any dish, just beware. Nothing seems terribly fresh, but it's not unpalatable. The chicken pad thai is my standard fair, and I usually get two meals out of it. My partner-in-crime is always a lo mein kind of guy, and he gives it a good two thumbs up. The place is usually empty when I go in after six at night, but perhaps that's different at other times. If you're in a pinch, just know that's better than Lotus Grill. read more

Delivery through Grub Hub was fast, but the quality was bad. Fried rice was not fried and had very little flavor. The chicken pad Thai tasted like fish. I took them back and they said the pad Thai is made with fish oil so it's supposed to taste like seafood. They remade the fried rice, but we had the same result. We threw both away and won't be coming back. Staff didn't seem to care and it was the worst Chinese we've had in years. read more

Having been in Columbus for years, I think it's almost a crime for never been here until now. This restaurant is sort of like an Americanized Chinese fast food restaurant, but everything is made to order, unlike Panda Express where all the food are just sitting in a pot. If you've ever been to Tensuke, it's very similar in style. I had the teriyaki chicken and the wife had their pad thai, and they even gave us an order of crab rangoon. The crab rangoon was delicious, hot and crispy on the outside and the stuffing was very cheesy. The teriyaki chicken was a little more on the sweet side, but there was A LOT of chicken and rice! The pad thai was also a little sweeter than what I've had at other restaurants, but it was delicious and I'm pretty sure the amount is enough for two meals! I think for $11, we got enough food for four people! And it's all very fresh and tasted great. Now that they've opened up a new store on Bethel, I will go a lot more! read more

I went here and asked if I could taste the General Tso's sauce. I was told no, b/c they only make it fresh with each order. Even though I don't believe that, I said no big deal and went with Sesame Chicken. My lunch was fairly quick, but when I went up to pick out my food, I realized the person working the register (who could barely look up from his phone long enough to take my order) was wearing flip flops with NO SOCKS behind the counter. Well... Obviously a health code violation. THEN, I sat down and was eating and had taken a bottle of siracha. Well, the same guy apparently had made his food, and walked over to my table, picked it up, and squirted it all over his food. Didn't ask, didn't say excuse me... Nothing. Beyond rude. While the food was good, I can't take the attitudes in this place. I have ordered delivery since then and was treated very rudely by their delivery driver as well. So my husband and i was in the mood for chinese. He ordered delivery of orange chicken with fried rice and I ordered general tso chicken with steamed rice and we shared steamed dumplings as appetizer. They delivered our order in 15 minutes and they were right on time. However our steamed dumplings we're like fried they looked burnt... they are supposed to be white when you get them and they were dark brown and crunchy. My general tso chicken was alright. I just wish that they would have made mine a little more saucey...my husband did not like his orange chicken at all... he said his chicken was crunchy. I don't think we will be coming back here. This place was great! My inlaw and I popped in today for dinner and the food and service was excellent! I have a super picky and rambunctious 4 year old child and was not paying attention when I ordered her food and ended up ordering something she didn't like. When my order was up, the staff politely remade my daughter something else at no additional cost. This was super nice of the staff and everything we tried was delicious! I got pad tai and general chicken and rice and another rice noodle dish that was labeled as spicy that I can't remember the name of. Based on this visit I would stick to General chicken- the pad tai looks like earth worms as it was pink and slimy. Three of us split all three meals and agreed the food was ok and the pad tai was bad. Columbus (not sure about the Polaris specific area) has much much better pad tai.
