Let me start by saying that Eli at Lockbuster was the only one willing to even attempt working on…read moremy car. For context, I have a 2006 Volvo V70 wagon. Most older Volvos can have their keys programmed by a third-party locksmith--it's hit or miss depending on the model. Newer Volvos, typically 2015 and up, absolutely require dealership access to program keys, which can cost several hundred dollars. I called around to about 10 other locksmiths, and none of them wanted to touch the Volvo. Eli, on the other hand, immediately said, "I'll give it a shot. I'll cut the key, and if it doesn't work, I won't charge you." He showed up on time, was communicative, polite, and professional. Although the key couldn't be programmed to the car (a known challenge with some Volvos), he still managed to cut the exact key I needed--and left a great impression. Sometimes, just making the effort is enough to earn lifelong customers. From now on, anytime I--or anyone at my business--needs a key or locksmith, we'll be calling Eli. Thanks again! -Jay in Mayport

I reached out to Tiki's Towing after seeing their $65 tow advertisement on Facebook Marketplace…read more When I contacted them, I was informed that the $65 rate only covers up to 2 miles, which is understandable. My total came out to $120, which I agreed to without issue. Before the tow, I clearly explained to the first person I spoke with that the vehicle needed to be moved from one property to another and placed behind a gate, and that they would need to open the gate. After the vehicle was picked up, I also sent them a picture of the gate--circled--as you can see in the image below, to make sure there was no confusion about the drop-off location and instructions. When the driver arrived, a different person contacted me for directions. I assumed all prior details had already been communicated, so I did not repeat the information about the gate. However, once they arrived at the drop-off location, they refused to open the gate and place the vehicle inside. They told me the person I originally spoke with was "in training" and unaware of their gate policy. I explained that if I had been told upfront that I needed to be present to open the gate, I would have made arrangements to be there. Despite this, they refused to wait for me and left the vehicle in front of the gate--even though I had already paid the full amount. Before posting this review, I tried to handle this professionally and work things out directly with the company because I genuinely support small businesses. However, I was told they would rather respond to a review than resolve the issue. To make matters worse, the owner/co-owner was argumentative and unwilling to fix the situation, stating they had other jobs to get to. Overall, this experience showed a lack of communication, professionalism, and customer service. I would recommend clarifying all policies upfront if you choose to use this company.

Where are you getting that from? I never told you I was on I-95. I was located on a local road, Cedar Point. Also, I waited 2 hours not one before calling. No one cared to call me. I will post the initial dispatch messages since you are incapable of accountability and would rather lie to cover your business. Before you get defensive please know the facts. As a business, sometimes you have to take ownership and make it right. Original Review: Left me stranded on the side of the road. Dispatched by Progressive with a 75-105 minute estimate. After 115 minutes I called them, no answer. They called me back and stated they had the wrong location and only took the tow because it was a residential tow. It was now 8:30 and dark. He said he could get someone out in another hour because he was in southside. The guy argued with me instead of fixing the problem. I had to drive home on a flat tire because they could not get it together. Terrible experience, avoid them!

And honestly, I haven't seen the bolts that I bought or the ones that he supposedly bought , so I honestly think that he put the old ones back in which you're not supposed to do. And all he did was put the flex plate in and put my transmission back on so he could get his jack from under my car. he told me he needed one nut to finish working on the car promise to be back the next day and I have not seen him since and I believe I am missing some wires. Definitely the screw for the nut. There's something hanging under my car, he never put the starter back in, he swore up and down that he didn't do shady work and he got me every which way he could I've probably given him about $1000 and that's not including what I paid him to fix the car. I had a service scheduled at 11:00am, went to drop off my truck and was ignored for 15 minutes, finally flagged someone down and got checked in. Told me it was going to take until 3:00pm to get the oil changed and new tires. which I thought was already extremely long. Got a text saying my truck was about to get inspected at 2:45pm and called them at 3:30pm to check on the status of my truck, they said it was going to be another hour, called back at 5:00pm after not hearing back and they said I could come pick it up because it would be done soon, was stuck waiting there until after 6:00pm. Over 7 hours to get an oil change and new tires is insane, it wasn't an engine replacement or anything crazy. Go to Keith Pierson Toyota, it's only 15 minutes away.
