wish i had listened to these neg reviews; but a friend told me this place was good. Let's just say that when I dropped my car off for specific work, I was told I would get a call around lunch with an estimate. Sounds reasonable, but- when I got the call I was already "$250 in the hole," bc they diagnoased a problem that I did not ask them to. When I argued that this was not discussed with me, they refused to do the work I asked them to do and told me to pick my car up. Well, when I picked it up it had a new clicking / knocking sound (persistant and wasn't there before,) and now it also idles high on startup- never did that either. Not to mention that my interaction with Jeff was like the evil dead. Really sick man there I hope he gets the help he needs- to learn how to communicate and not throw nasty anger around. Customer service is pretty simple- if you have a diagnostic fee then when you drop off the car you let the customer know about your $150 diagnostic fee for all issues. I wish it could be a negative rating! Eric is real nice until you question any charges. Then he gets rude and insulting. Check the other negative comments from customers. It's a pattern. He is dishonest. He intentionally tried to charge me for over 7 hours of labor when he only worked on the car less than 5. I sent him a certified letter. He had to refund me or face court. He paid up! Then he acted like I was the offender, telling me to "never come back", that I had "insulted his mechanics", like I would ever return to his business, LOL! Any estimate given is overestimated for time and, if you accept it, then he charges the estimate amount regardless of the actual time taken to perform the work. I caught him at it, many people don't! His mechanics are very competent, he's just personally a crook at heart. Take your vehicle somewhere else. Yes, this is posted under a pseudonym, but the experience was too real. Last time I had my car here they "fixed" the power steering and gave all new tires. One tire needs to be replaced and we can't even get the lug nuts off. They want $85 to tow the car, not even sure how much to get a new tire. The power steering has a leak and each time we stop by to have it looked at their too busy. I should have submitted this complaint two years ago. At that time, my 73-year-old mother had a very unpleasant encounter with the owner of All Pro Automotive, Eric, who was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. His behavior became ruder in response to the fact that my mother has a foreign accent, even though she speaks fluent English. Eric made it obvious that he is only selectively nice, depending on your origin, and I am not saying that lightly. Move forward to last week. I am not sure why she decided to return there, but she did, and the mechanic did a diagnostic test on the fan/ overheating issue. When she returned to pick up the car, she was quoted a price in the high $750s to replace a fan causing the problem. As it was quite a large sum, my mother said she wanted to consider it before proceeding. After checking around, she learned that an acquaintance had the same repair done for less than half that price, as the part is quoted at $ 160$ with little labor involved. To be clear, she never received a written invoice from All Pro Automotive at that time. Additionally, in the past, my mother has had a diagnosis done on her car without charge, so when she was never given an invoice, she assumed the same. However, a week later, I received an irate voicemail on my cell stating, "If you are not getting your car fixed, you need to pay your bill!." I then called on behalf of my mother to ask what the issue was, and in an unpleasant tone, he answered, "She needs to pay for the diagnosis!". When I asked for the invoice, he bellowed, "It's $160!" Given what I would consider verbal escalation on both sides, I discontinued the conversation. My mother then stopped by the garage to request the invoice in person and asked about the price. In response, Eric became unacceptably insulting and even blurred outrageous racist statements. He called her "a bitch" and shouted that she should "go back to your fascist country (France), go away, go away, you horrible people," while pointing his index finger one inch to her face in front of all employees. My mother was in tears. He then asked the employee who had done the diagnostic test if he had provided an invoice on the day of service (May 25th), which he had not. Therefore, Eric magically presented an undetailed invoice never seen before, with the repair price differing from the verbal quote previously given and backdated to the 25th. My mother (who has never cussed in her life ) came home crying, and I see no excuse for the kind of abuse leveled at her. To Eric: Sir, it took me all I had not to come down to your store and give you my two cents about your unacceptable behavior toward my mother and open racism toward my home country, but I decided against it because you, in the end, are not worth my time and breath. I understand that reasonable charges should be paid for your services. Still, I strongly disagree with your way of charging according to how you feel about the customer, especially after neglecting to decide about a charge until after the fact! And at an apparently adjustable rate according to your personal, emotional radar. Just to let you know, if you do not adjust your diagnosis accordingly, which should be no more than 30 mins labor, this case will go to civil court if you choose to pursue it. read more

We broke down on our way to Daytona and limped into the shop 10 minutes before close. The guys took great care of us. Got the parts we needed that night, drove us to a hotel and had us back on the road in the morning! above and beyond! Wish I could add more stars! read more

BEWARE of bait and switch!!! What a piece of work these guys are especially Jeff! I asked straight out did they work on Lexus and he says absolutely! I bring in my GX460 for an electrical issue as doors won't lock and window switch on drivers side won't roll down the other windows. I go back and he says the computer under dash had water damage and white corrosion everywhere causing it to malfunction. Then proceeds to tell me he won't touch it. Not interested in doing the work. Says he could but it would cost thousands and I said so you are making the decision for me? He rudely says we don't want to do it. Lol. Then Proceeds to charge me $167. Not a good business model if you guys don't at least let the customer make the decision to proceed or not. So they look at it then tell me they won't do the work without giving me an option then charged for what they call a diagnostic which I am starting to wonder if they did anything more than just a visual. So I take it to Lexus service which I should have done in the first place and they pull the dash apart and say the computer is perfectly dry with no corrosion in sight and found a loose wire. Wow! These guys are far from Professional, and Jeff the mechanic has real issues with courtesy and answering questions about your vehicle. There are plenty of good mechanics on Mayport Rd., but not in this shop. Do yourself a favor and don't use these guys. read more

I wish I could join the others in a good review, but after the second go-around with this business, sadly, I cannot. My first experience was calling and Eric telling me to bring my Son's truck in for work on that Friday. I called to confirm on Wednesday. We showed up and were told, without apology, "Eric always camps on Good Friday, and I'm too busy...that one's on him, not me". Again, didn't seem fazed that we had worked our schedules around for this. Figured we'd give them the benefit of the doubt, and try them again. Called ahead and was told if we dropped our car the night before, they get our car done first. We did that, and when the next afternoon rolled around and no update - I called. Hadn't even looked at the car, and told me there were two cars ahead of mine. No apology, just said that they were a first come, first serve garage. That's not what we were told on the phone. I picked my car up - undone...These people were rude, wasted my time and obviously don't care about my business. I got the message. read more

Honest and Trustworthy!!! Took my car in to fix a oil leak. They diagnosed the problem properly as a seal leak. Had to remove engine and transmission to get to the oil pan seals and gaskets. They quoted me a price and that was the price. However, when they put it back together my transmission jerked when shifting. Now most places this would have been a problem. Nope! Eric sent me to Marjenhoff Transmission who diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Best part All Pro paid for it. As Eric said they stand behind their work and want happy customers. I have taken my cars here for routine maintenance and the occasional mechanical issue. Each time the staff has been professional, fixed or diagnosed the issue, and given me a reasonable price for labor and parts. I haven't felt lead into unnecessary repairs or up charged like many dealerships do. read more

Not necessarily the fastest or cheapest but definitely one of the best. As a former tech myself I started using all pro when I was unable to diagnose a problem several years ago and knew one of the techs who was there at the time and trusted him. I'm sure they almost hate seeing me pull in as it is never a routine issue at that point. The one time they were unable to diagnose they spent several days on the job and ended up charging me nothing even though they had spent hours looking at it. Other than this they have always been able to repair anything I could not. I have started using them more as I travel a good bit for work now and I have my wife bring cars to them when I can not get to it. The few times a problem has resurfaced they quickly get it in and figure out what it is. read more

The final cost was more than the estimated cost. So while I am happy with the service and the awesome customer service, the cost quoted was a little short. Eh! I got my car towed into All Pro because it was leaking gasoline. Erik and Randy found the issue very quickly and ordered the part that was needed the same day. I was able to pick up my car in two days (only took that long because of shipping for the part) and they charged me a lot less than I was anticipating. I recommend them to anyone who needs their car repaired. They were very honest and forward with my car and the parts/cost. Took my 2003 Yukon to them on a recommendation from my husband's co worker. It took 5 days, with my husband checking in with them, several times during this time. To be fair, the price quoted, seemed to be in line, with the amount of work needed, still just shy of 1700.00. Picked up the car, to find the heating and A/C units not working, this was working fine before it was taken in, thankfully my husband was able to find and correct the misplaced fuses. Time and money aside, I would not recommend them, especially if you are a single woman, communication is definitely not a strong point. read more

Over the past few years we've needed their services 3 times; twice for our almost-22-year-old Ford 150 truck, and recently for our 2006 Kia Sorrento. Their service has always been prompt, efficient and superb. I cannot say enough good things about these guys. They are knowledgeable about all kinds of automobiles, and we would recommend them to anyone needing repair services. They never try to "up sell" or do things not needed, and always make certain their work has been done right the first time.
