My wife and I were treating my son and his family to dinner. Everything was going well and then I received my meal. I think it was normally made they way it was presented but it was not good at all to me. I let the waitress know and she took action right away letting me make another choice and quickly preparing it. I have never returned a plate in 50 years of eating out and the restaurant really went out of their way to help turn my frown upside down and it worked. Thank you Haymaker team. We have had many meals with you and will continue to do so. My husband and I had brunch here. I ordered the Haymaker Benedict . The breaded chicken was tender, and the spinach was fresh. My scrambled eggs had a nice sauce. My husband had an all American breakfast. He said the bread was very good. The service was very good. The server offered to refill our coffee many times. My husband said the coffee rated 5. We are at Haymaker in Peoria, Az for breakfast. . My wife had the ham and cheese omelette and I hand the Cowboy platter. The service was amazing. David was our server. Our coffee and water never went empty and the food came hot and quick. The ambiance is a welcoming family atmosphere and had a bar. You can get whatever you want to drink including a Bloody Mary or a flight of beer. The owners are from San Diego and are friendly and welcoming. We were searching for a great place to have Brunch and stumbled across this place in which I'm glad that we did! There's televisions everywhere and it's very spacious with plenty of seating throughout. Upon entrance, at first it gave out odd vibes to me, which is why you never judge a book by it's cover. We were seated by a waitress who was fantastic!!! She was friendly and Welcoming! Our table waitress, Zanovia(spelling) was fantastic!!! The flight Mimosas were awesome and I loved that they provided choices of juices to pick. When our food arrived, my Cousin( who now has a food dance after my ranting that she needed one) and I, did our food dances. This is the Perfect place to eat regardless, if you're enjoying a football game, or a boys- girls night out. Whenever my Cousin and I meet up for breakfast I'm going to suggest returning here as this is now my favorite place to eat on the West side. So my hubby had been here before and loved the food and the ambience. We were close by, hungry, but had our dog with us. I checked the website and it didn't say anything about pets, but our friend Google said "of course their patio is dog friendly". So, to Haymaker we headed! Bottom line, amazing patio, great food (try the app sampler) fantastic drinks (try the mimosa flight) and best in class service. Olivia was amazing, getting bacon and water for our pup and Diana, the manager stopped by not once, but twice to chat with us and pet our dog. Very family-forward restaurant. We will be back. Our friend ordered the burger and fries which she enjoyed. I love brisket and pretty much order brisket at any BBQ restaurant we dine at when traveling. Unfortunately it was 90 % fat. I was able to get two bites and had to discard the rest. So, so disappointing and it was really inexcusable. The Mac & cheese was a hard clump and sadly couldn't eat it either. The beans were delicious. My husband ordered the shredded pork which he said was tender but no flavor and really needed to be salted. Everything we've had to eat is good, but I really recommend getting the chocolate chip pancakes! They are so fluffy and filled with mini chocolate chips!
