Earlier today, I encountered one of the employees soliciting services within our condominium community. Our neighborhood is clearly marked with "No Soliciting" signage, and soliciting on the property is not permitted. When I initially instructed the employee to leave the property, he did not do so. Approximately two hours later, I encountered him again on the property riding a hoverboard. When I asked why he had not left as directed, he denied that I had previously asked him to leave and proceeded to debate the matter rather than acknowledge the issue. You'll notice that their website is flagged as dangerous. They have a B+ rating with the BBB due to over 1,000 complaints. Their rating on Yelp is a 2.1. Why on earth would you consider using these unprofessional people? Please do not. I contacted one of the co-owners through LinkedIn today and asked that he ensure that this matter is addressed promptly and that no representatives of their company enter or solicit within our community in the future. If any representative of the company is found soliciting or remaining on the property after being asked to leave, we will contact law enforcement and pursue appropriate action for trespassing. read more

Two young men, very personable/persuasive - evening visit - related they were starting their own local pest control business - sounded good, price consistent with current provider - upon research this morning, this is established business based in Utah/Atlanta - first service charge appeared on bank account this morning before any service - must cancel within three days by telegram/mail to Utah office or hefty cancellation charge - called Atlanta office and cancellation was handled very nicely by that office with email confirmation - can't comment on service by this company but sales representatives were lying big time read more

We have not been happy with their service and they really don't seem to care which is quite strange nowadays. When I contacted them, they falsely claimed I had agreed to continue service, but could not provide any proof (no contract, no recording, no written confirmation). This is extremely concerning behavior. Customers should be very careful about giving this company their payment information. I have disputed the charges with my credit card company and filed complaints with consumer protection agencies. Was door-to-door marketed by these guys, the long dancing around the bush preamble to the sales pitch was ridiculous, it had to be scripted or taught as no one speaks that way. I was actually getting ready to quit Hawx pest control, but I got a call from Daniel saying that he was at my house and it was raining and would it be OK to reschedule or he could go ahead and put it down in the rain, but didn't think that it would be effective. It is the first time that I've received a call from anyone at Hawx pest control since the beginning. Danielle has renewed my faith and I'm going to keep them for as long as Daniel continues to work on my house. He was thorough. There were no more webs when I got home and all of the spiders around the house were dead. He forwarded me the pictures which I haven't received in a very long time from anyone. I find this company to be VERY professional with great communication. They follow up after service. Everything is automated and they send you the entire report with photographs. I planted 35 tomatos, squash cucumber etc, in containers so they were very close to wet foliage, it rained a lot this week. The most amazing thing for me is that I didnt get bit one time. I'm a magnet for skeeters and I usually get bit 3-4 times before I can get from my car to the front door. It's a little expensive for my budget, but they are doing a really good job. I was promised SUMMER service ONLY, and after coming home from a six-month deployment, I find out that this company has been deducting from my account throughout the fall and winter. What the hell is there to spray for with snow on the ground? I returned home in January, trying to cancel the service, and was told that I could only suspend service until the unknown 1-year contract is completed on March 20th. And what do you know, a week before the contract ends, they sneak in another service and charge my account again. I demanded a refund because I had not restored service, but they refused. I would give zero stars if I could. Save yourself the hassle and money and pass on this company. They charge monthly for quarterly services and then fail to perform them. Getting someone on the phone to actually assist you is a nightmare. You will spend 20 minutes talking with one rep, only to be transferred to another department and have to start all over with all the information. This will repeat with multiple department transfers. They do not refund you, only issue credits IF you keep the account open. Oh and despite taking your money for 6 months without actually performing 2 back to back quarterly services, they will still charge you a cancellation fee when you get fed up with them. I will never understand why a customer should be punished for cancelling a service they have paid for and not received. read more

Because of all the rain I started to see more and sex come inside. Usually between treatments, I never have a problem. I called and they scheduled right away and came out and worked on the inside of the house to prevent them from coming in, but took time to go around and recheck the outside of the house, even though it wasn't my actual service time. read more

We signed up for the service on May 20, 2022 for both an indoor and outdoor package. I'm very inquisitive, so I made sure to ask Chris plenty of questions + reviewed the contract in details. That same day, a technician was able to come treat our kitchen because he was in the area. February of 2023, we requested a technician to come spray inside our ENTIRE house for roaches (I made sure the phone rep knew we wanted every room sprayed). When the technician arrived, I went and sat in the backyard with my pup so they could treat our home in peace. 5 minutes later, the technician is gone. Turns out, all he did was lay down traps in a few corners. That was only the 2nd time we had a treatment indoors, so we canceled that portion. April 17, Lilly comes to spray outside. We pay for May, but our appointment was canceled due to some "unforeseen circumstances." We pay for June, but no one shows. Come July, I decided to cancel. The guy that answers offers to cover July's payment, add mice treatment to our package, and send Lilly to our home. She came on 07/11/23 and we haven't seen a technician SINCE. I purposely didn't pay because I wanted to make sure we'd see a technician that month. Nothing. I call on 11/28 after getting a bill for $192.77 and was told we owe $252.52. We were then offered a discount towards a 6 month package and the balance due would be applied to that. My line drops, I call back, and the guy that answers tries to upsell the same offer. I tell him I'd callback. I phone in again a few days later, and got in touch with the same lady that helped on 11/28. I explain at this point, we just want to cancel. I ask her why we owe anything when Hawx still owed us for 2 months of services. She takes about 20 minutes reviewing the account and explains she applied a $138 discount and closed the account, but we'll still be responsible for the $114 because I removed my payment method in February. It made no sense! It took me not only having to file a complaint with BBB, but rebutting their response (including attaching invoices, the service history, + receipts) before they FINALLY 0'd our account.
