Doug set up a video call and gave us a tour of the trailer and answered all of our questions. Very informative! We arranged to ship, Doug took care of the trailer getting it ready for the long haul to CA. He even winterized it for us knowing it was going over some mountains. I proceeded to hook up the camper and I discovered the batteries were both low. I went back inside to borrow there booster and returned to the camper and had no success with the poster, both batteries were completely dead. So I purchased 2 new batteries and proceeded to replace them when the salesman came outside and approached me to discuss the damage that another customer did to our camper. At no time prior did anyone mention our camper was sideswiped by anyone. I do appreciate him coming to tell me but I was amazed it wasn't the first comment from there staff once I arrived. There was a good chance I would have left without noticing it. I asked if we needed to call the police and he reassured me that this was going to be covered by insurance and not to worry. So I proceeded home and contacted my insurance company, acquired estimates for repair and have had the camper repaired by an awesome facility on the east side of Madison. Insurance would only cover the repairs and not my time or milage taking this in for it repairs! Well as of today Mound View will not return my calls let alone compensate me for my lost time or milage for the damaged that occurred on there property. Back when Sherry owned this business , she would have worked this out. The new owners hide and are not reachable. I will never return here for anything and so will anyone I have talked to. As a business owner I know how important open communications are with customers and how we need to work together to resolve issues as such.

Their harsh communication was unnecessary and very stressful. Their work is not professional, the structures built were not high quality. We were overcharged and much of the work initially agreed upon was never completed. We tried our absolute best to remain peaceful, but we are still sick to our stomachs thinking about how they took advantage of our young family. We refrained from speaking up for awhile but it's not fair to anyone else who may go through something similar. We have recorded all details and have photos of their work, we've considered small claims court as we now see how that worked out in a previous clients favor. Overall, we had an awful experience and have had to tell others to put their trust in another company.

Despite warnings from a Woodhaven Lakes Realtor, we decided to give RV Doctor a call. We explained that we needed the inspection done by a given date - and it was completed on time. No problem with them at this point. After a few days we called for a quote to remedy some problems that were found with the inspection but, after three telephone calls -- and as many promises to call us back -- we did not hear from them. Perhaps it sounds a bit rigid, but if a company tells you they will "definitely call you back with the information", and after three calls they haven't, I think they have failed me as a consumer, and more personally, a customer. I would not recommend them if you are in a hurry, or if you want them to call back -- a 50/50 bet!

We stopped by Lasso with the purpose of comparing Travel Trailer with 5th wheel and view some floor plans. 1st thing I was impressed with was a salesperson did NOT come running out to meet us. A nice young and friendly gal came out to casually meet us. She admitted she was not yet an expert and just chatted with us until Russ showed up. We told Russ our agenda and he was very low pressure. Even knowing he was not going to make a sale, he took the time to walk us around and educate us. We want to buy used so he told us of a couple units located 10 or so miles away. I remember what Russ said that really impressed me. "I would love to sell you one but if not, I hope you learned from me what you needed to know." Thanks Russ. We may be back.
