I got a poke bowl with two scoops (salmon and marinated tuna). I'm a toppings girlie so I got most of the toppings. This bowl was sooo good. They give a generous amount of sauces. I love the variety of seafood and toppings (love all those crunchy topping options) they have. It was very clean inside with nice outdoor seating. The server gave me great recommendations since it was my first time. The quantity and quality were fantastic and I had enough for two meals. I will definitely get this again when I'm in town.

I've loved the spot since it opened! I was hoping a poke restaurant would open by Bde Maka Ska - and my calls have been answered. Hawaii Poke Bowl is in the perfect area for a quick pickup to walk to the lake, and has an easy delivery system through BiteSquad. The inside is clean and fresh and there's always plenty of parking in the lot. I love that Hawaii Poke has some more unique offerings compared to other poke places I've tried - I love their marinated salmon and choice of mix in sauces. I always order a build your own so I can try everything! With full delivery, my poke bowl came out to about $20 (2 protein build your own with some added additional toppings). The portions are large and this could've easily been two meals, so I don't mind the price including delivery. I ordered a base of mixed greens and white rice - lots of white rice came with it, I ended up even throwing some away but I wouldn't consider that a con. I got spicy salmon and marinated salmon for my proteins - the only thing I wish was that they chopped the marinated salmon like the spicy salmon (but wasn't an issue). I mixed in ponzu sauce and topped with cucumber, corn, edamame, avocado, ginger, sesame seeds and yum yum sauce. It was the perfect light dinner filled with veggies! I am already a regular here, but I will definitely continue to be!

I've been on a search for the best Poké in the city for a while and I think I may have finally hit the jackpot. Hawaii poke bowl is amazing, the staff at this location are so kind, and are very accommodating to everything you might ask for. You choose a base first - my recommendation is half white rice, half mixed greens. Choose 2-3 proteins depending on how big of a bowl you want. And then you go through all the toppings and sauces and choose everything you want like at subway or Chipotle. Don't be embarrassed to ask for nearly everything, I do it basically every time! The ingredients are all so fresh here, I absolutely love their salmon and appreciate the wide selection of toppings including my favorite in poke: mangos! The craziest part is still the price. You can get a massive bowl that will easily feed you 1-2 meals and it costs only $14 despite being filled with beautiful fish and produce. I love this place and have gone back a few times already since finding it.

Y'all...I'm OBSESSED. It's fresh, it's easy, it's centrally located with FREE PARKING! What more could you want? I find myself craving poke more often than most foods because it's so fresh and flavorful. And Hawaii Poke Bowl in Uptown is so easy to get to, fast, and fresh, that I just keep coming back for more. If you're looking for a very filling meal at a good price, this is it! Honestly their mini bowls are enough for a meal, but if you're really hungry, their signature bowls are incredible too. Dragon bowl - I love this cooked eel and shrimp bowl topped with eel sauce! Very savory and umami. Kiss of Fire mini bowl - my go-to when I need a cheap but filling meal! Their mini bowls are $7.50-$8.50. I love the spicy tuna and crab salad topped with spicy Mayo in this one. Truly a fast (and frequent) fave for me. Service is always speedy, inside is always spotless, and almost never a line. Check them out!

Love me my poke Fruit and fiber are my friends I can't get enough Reader's Digest Version: I've had two bouts with diverticulitis in the last 10 years. I describe it as a migraine in your stomach. They say it is caused by a low fiber diet. However, when you get it you are not supposed to eat any fiber. It is one goofy limbo dance. I had a rough couple months. Feeling good now. Big problem is I love fast and easy food. Almost always no nutritional value whatsoever. Enter Hawaii Poke Bowl. It is kind of like a Chipotle type deal. Walk down the counter with the employee and tell them what you do and do not want. My first time or two here it was white or brown rice only for the base. They have since added quinoa for a dollar extra. Sold! Superfood with high fiber content. Throw some mango and pineapple and some onions in there along with chicken. Feel like I am eating healthy. It tastes so good! If I am wrong and this is not healthy, leave me alone. Ignorance is bliss.

Didn't know this was a local chain until a week after I visited the uptown location and I was happy to hear that there's more fish / poke bowl places around Minneapolis! We were looking for a good picnic food and this was the perfect choice - it's an easy, refreshing, yummy, mess free food that just comes in a bowl. Their workers were fast in making our bowls and I was pleasantly surprised by the decently priced options - we decided to get the rainbow bowl, which comes with salmon, ahi tuna, marinated tuna, and more for $15. I chose to shake my bowl to mix the sauce and toppings together and it all tasted really fresh together. I was pretty content with the quality of the fish - some people might not trust sushi fish from the Midwest but Hawaii poke bowl knows what they're doing. I'll be coming back soon with my punch card as this is definitely the spot to hit this summer!

Stopped by to grab a quick dinner and was surprised how good this place was! I have lived in the uptown area for about 3 years now and am just now trying this place out and it did not disappoint. The place was cute and super clean and the staff were very nice. You can build your own bowl or can select from the ones they already have. There are also mini version of bowls that don't give you as much food for cheaper which is a good option if you want a smaller option. I got the volcano bowl which was very good. The only thing I wish I got more of was sauce and protein, I feel like there wasn't enough for the price but I can always ask for extra the next time I go. Overall, a great place for poke in the twin cities! I will be back.

I love Hawaii Poke Bowl! I've been going to this location since they opened and there is nothing better then a great bowl from Hawaii Poke. I do a custom bowl and for my base I like doing half rice and half salad because otherwise I think there is too much rice and I like to have a little greens. The fish is always insanely fresh and I love the spicy salmon mix as well! The fish scoops are a decent size and the extra scoop is just a dollar more, so I often add that. The veggies are fresh and constantly being restocked because they go through them so quickly! My favorite sauce is the spicy poke - it's a little sweet but plenty spicy. The workers behind the counter are quick and generous, always serving with a smile behind their masks. Since I go so often, I've seen a few of the people get better at their sauce drizzle and I just love that! There is always a jug of lemon water and honestly, it's some of the best lemon water I've ever had. The other drink options aren't super exciting to me, but since I usually bring it home I don't mind. The restaurant is clean and bright, the booths are inviting with their faux grass wall and fireplace. There are some games if you want to stay awhile as well. I know they have smoothies now but I have yet to try one - maybe on my next trip!

This place had good variety and fair prices for poke bowls. I got the rainbow bowl which was very refreshing. I think next time I go I would try a build your own bowl to customize it more! It's a good place for a quick bite with fast service.

We visited this restaurant for a quick dinner this winter. The bowls are well-made and satisfying. FOOD: You can choose between pre-selected bowls and build-your-own style. I opted to build my own and was impressed by the options available for ingredients. However, I think the potions/ratio of different ingredients could be improved. Despite this, it was a tasty bite and well-priced for the area! SERVICE: The is a counter serve establishment. It was pretty quiet when we were there, so we did not have a to wait long for our food. AMBIANCE: The place is quite modern and bright inside, and has plenty of booths for seating. PARKING: Easy parking in a lot.

I'm 20 weeks pregnant and sooo picky. I decided to try this place on a whim because of a door dash special. I think this will be one of my favorites and go tos! I usually avoid raw fish but after reading reviews and checking them out, I felt comfortable enough to try their raw salmon and marinate salmon. It was sooo good and buttery and exactly what raw salmon should be! Not one stringy piece and generous portions too. For anyone wondering because I was, even though now it seems self explanatory, the marinate salmon is just salmon soaked in some soy sauce I'm assuming. Very good but I think next time I'll get all regular salmon. I am so happy I found this place. I feel great after eating it too which is important to me, a lot of foods make me feel heavy or gross or sick or nauseas, but I feel amazing. Picture was 3 minutes into eating it and almost halfway gone. Could barely breathe between bites.

As evidenced by the name, Tiki Tim's focuses mainly on island inspired cuisine (save for the fried pickles). While the choices are limited, they've all been quite good. The fish tacos are the highlight for me, with generous pieces of crispy and not-too-greasy fish, but you really can't wrong with anything (bring a knife and fork for the pork sandwich).
