So after our last experience my wife and I were invited to come back by the owner in an effort to make things right. I have to say that they hit it out of the park this time! From the minute we walked in until the minute we left Javier and his staff made us feel so welcomed. Everything was great in this visit, the team, the food the ambiance. My boyfriend got the beach please latte and it was so cute and delicious. I got another alcoholic beverage but I can't remember the name. I'll insert a picture. We shared a quesadilla which was huge and delicious. My boyfriend ordered the Birria Tacos with a side of rice and beans. They were insanely good. Tasted very authentic. Haven Haus! I'm in love with you! When in Temecula especially if you're in Old Town on Main Street, Haven Haus is a MUST DO! The food is the food. Nothing to write home about (even the boasted Benedicts) but the atmosphere should make up for it. Hopefully you will end up with a decent server. I on the other hand, chose to sit at the bar having my bartender not only make my beverages but handle my food order. If you go in the summer, sit inside because it does get hot. If you go in the autumn or winter, sit in their patio. You can people watch! Parking is slim to none but if you are lucky enough to find a street stall, parking is free. Been back a few more times and every single time we have poor service. Friday breakfast multiple times and just tried a Friday lunch. Each time it has taken me 10-15 minutes to get greeted once seated and each visit has had issues with food not coming out as ordered. Servers need to focus more on guests instead of socializing amongst themselves. We send food back and it gets corrected with an apology which is fine once in awhile but not each time. I went here with a large group and the waitress was super nice, they had vegan food, good drinks, everything seemed good. Then I got home and looked at the photo my friend took of the receipt. I ordered the chilaquiles, but to make them vegan, I had to remove the egg, queso fresco, sour cream, rice (chicken stock), and beans (lard). This left me with just chips, red sauce, and avo. I ordered an extra side of avocado. They charged me $3 for the avocado!!! This was a $17 meal (originally) that I had to remove 70% of, and they didn't even have a decency to comp the freaking avo. This means I paid $20 for a pile of moist chips. Absolutely unacceptable. This should have been $12 MAX. read more
