1/2 slab pork ribs this picture does not even show how many you get! Tasty!!!

Last night we had their special which happened to be fall off the bone pork ribs! So good! They had a delicious potato salad and coldslaw! There was so much we brought home leftovers for another whole meal! We also had the fried green beans with horsey sauce as an appetizer and cream brûlée as dessert! The staff is always very friendly and kind!

Oh man! Hidden gem in the middle of the country. Food was amazing. I expect this caliber at a fancy steakhouse in NWA. Worth the drive. Haven chicken was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Salmon was delicious.

One our go places when in the area. Fried green beans are delish. It has a view of big sugar creek and has a well deserved reputation as a foodie kinda place. Lunch will cost around 20 bucks so not cheap but a great place to enjoy lunch. A definite must when in the area.

Beautiful setting on the old mill pond at Havenhurst. The mill burned down in '62, but this small unimposing restaurant/tavern was built where the old mill stood. Marvelous fusion of classic French cuisine and Ozark home cooking. The fried green bean appetizer we had was unique and very good. Everyone in our party thought the chef did justice to their order. I had a rare sirloin steak and thought it very good. Most of the folks in our party got the special of the day, which was pork chops. They loved it. Service was prompt, attentive, and friendly. How interesting to see classic French preparations served with down-to-earth Ozark friendliness!

This charming hidden gem offers a wonderful and a lovely view of the Little Sugar Creek waterfall. The service was outstanding, the staff friendly, and the food was good. My husband had the Prime Rib and stated it was the best he has ever had. I was craving filet mignon, but it was not one of the two steak options being served on New Year's Eve. I opted for the sirloin and was a little disappointed that it lacked the tenderness I anticipated. We will return as we have heard others rave about their burgers, the charm of dining al fresco, and we also want to see what their tavern next door is like.

    A great view.

Great service and great food. All the way from Oregon to Missouri to find some fine dinning in the middle of kind of know where .

Very good customer service. I had the Saturday night special, a chicken breast smothered in a port and fig sauce served with parmesan green beans and sweet potatoes. with the Spring rains, the waterfall added to the overall ambience.

This is the epitome of casual fine dining, RESERVATIONS REQUIRED as you will rarely find this small restaurant not booked solid. However, casual clothes welcome. Looks like a little nothing from the outside but the food is top notch. Wednesday is Prime Rib night, best I've ever had. View is beautiful. If you're lucky you'll get a table by the window and you can watch people floating down the river My fav has been heavy spring rainfall and watching the water flow when it's really high, feels like it's almost right under your feet.

Wow. What a truly hidden gem. Sorry we found it as we are leaving NWA. The steak is not normally this small. I split with my husband. Best twice baked potato ever

This truly is a hidden gem! I had the 16 oz steak with blue cheese and it was so amazing and tender! We'll definitely be back soon!

Our first visit, and there was a choice of chicken fried steak, or chicken fried chicken. We both got the steak, and it was pretty much perfect; fork tender and delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive. It's nothing fancy, but it's welcoming atmosphere. Recommend you contact them for a reservation, as it's not a large place and seating is limited. My wife and I had a table to ourselves, but apparently it's not unusual to be seated at a larger table with other guests. We'll definitely be back.

The drive was straightforward, although it turns into dirt and gravel before you reach the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the ribs, which were delicious and fell right off the bone. I initially thought there was one price that covered everything, but I later realized that drinks and dessert are extra. It wasn't a big deal, but it's something to be aware of. I was also a bit concerned that they might not accept credit cards, but they did. We enjoyed a lovely chat with the couple sitting at the end of our table. Overall, it was a nice experience, and we will definitely return when we are in the area.

There's a billiard parlor upstairs and a large-ish bar in the back (I didn't go into either but could see them when we came in). The main dining area ran through the middle of the building. Very casual but menu all over the place ($110 tomahawk steak or a $12 Reuben sandwich). Good service, very laid-back, not at all pretentious. I think it would make a good candidate for diners, drive-ins, and dives, but I'm not sure they have a signature dish? Clear all the food was fresh, not frozen. I got the catfish with fried okra and french fries. Best catfish I've had in years. And the okra and twice fried French fries were outstanding. Would definitely go back!

At the table we had filets with mashed potatoes and the glazed mushrooms, fried catfish with creamed peas and fried okra, and a chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. Everything was good - the steak and mushrooms were EXCEPTIONAL, and the catfish filets were fat and perfectly prepared. No room for dessert but we did stick around for the bar and after dinner drink and about an hour of music upstairs in a cool room. They were super busy and out of a few items I ordered, but service was thoughtful and attentive. Only negative noted by us all is the lighting is bright and seating is hard, so less ambience than Denny's, honestly. A few minor tweaks would improve that a great deal. That said - can't wait to go back for the steak and mushrooms. They are worth the drive.
