This is one of those "hole in the wall" BBQ joints. Based on the long line of cars going through the drive thru, we thought that we'd give it a try. We had the two meat dinners with sides. We stopped on our way into Roger's because this place is right off the highway, you can't miss the shack and sign! Now, I must say, this sandwich is hearty. The bun, that looked to be ciabatta at first, is large and can hold up to this very large portion of pulled pork. I appreciated the lunch option of a sandwich, pickle and chips and again, the portion was fantastic. The unfortunate thing is that the meat has no flavor aside from your standard pork; combine that with the super dry dense bun and the experience is bland and boring. The bbq sauce is also unremarkable, tho it did help considerably with the overall flavor of the sandwich. The building is quite unassuming. But the smell of the smoker Lets you know This place is legit. We got the three meats two sides lunch . I split it with my wife as we are not big lunch eaters. It was amazing. Brisket ribs and pulled pork. Ribs weee outstanding brisket was tender and Smokey pulled pork was great. For sides Mac and cheese and baked beans both good. This is the closest to Texan bbq that I could find up here! I've since developed stomach issues and can't eat here anymore but they are def worth the money! First off the sliced brisket sandwich was fantastic as were the two different bbq sauces. The nasty woman working the window was short, rude and treated me like I was an inconvenience just because I'd never been there before and didn't know exactly what size of sandwich and that it came with a side. So I've passed this lil shack up several times and decided to hit this bbq joint up. I was greeted by a sweet lady who said the dining room was closed and how she would take my order. I ordered the jalapeño sausage link and a1/4lb of brisket with a 1/2 rack of ribs. She asked me did I want the spicy bbq sauce and of course I said yes please. And I also got the mild bbq sauce. The spicy bbq sauce is the best. The brisket was ok really not my kinda of brisket to eat but it was ok. The jalapeño sausage was some of the best I've had in a long time. It had just enough heat and dipping it in the spicy bbq sauce was outstanding. Next was the 1/2 rack of ribs. These were as good as I've had. They were seasoned perfect with just enough smoke to be so good. I'll definitely will be coming back for the ribs and more of these addicting jalapeño sausage links. I like to read the negative reviews and I am constantly amazed by how picky some people are. We are from Austin, Texas where there is a plethora (that means many for those who are vocabulary challenged) of Bbq restaurants. First, there are very few places, anywhere that have brisket this good for as little money as you pay for a pound of brisket. Some of the negative reviews note the lack of smoke flavor. I disagree with those reviews. Some places have an overwhelming smoke flavor in their meat that takes away from the brisket itself. Bubba's has a good mild smoke flavor that does not overwhelm but complements the meat. I am a brisket and sausage man so admittedly I did not try any of the pork. The spicy sausage was very good. I have never had dry brisket here and LOVE the spicy bbq sauce. As far as the wait in the drive thru, it does occasionally take a while but in the 8-10 times I have been there I have never waited more than 15 minutes. Common sense tells you that there are certain times that are busier than others, such as noon, so why not just time it right? The restaurant employees can't be responsible when customers have large orders that take longer than usual. Overall, this place is great and has very good brisket at very low prices. I'm a regular customer now. read more

Best BBQ near my home in Bella Vista. Ribs are fantastic as is the brisket. I like to get there a little before lunch Tuesday through Saturday as everything is piping hot fresh of the grill. Fried okra is kinda like grandmas homemade and their spicy sauce is out of this world. read more

The meat was well cooked and delicious. The sides tasted like they came from a grocery store, and the price added up quick!! Three meats, 2 sides and an 'appetizer' of fried okra that was tiny, and almost $100. In a pinch I would go back for food, but otherwise I'll skip it. read more

Bubba is a treasure. We saw his hand painted sign on our trip cutting through Missouri and had to stop. The interior is more spacious than it looks on the exterior. You'll be greeted by a jovial Bubba at the order window. There is also a drive thru window too. We got the Two meats/two sides... The meat was moist... The sauces took the meat from okay to great tasting. The spicy BBQ sauce had a great kick. We had gotten brisket and pulled pork. The pulled pork was the best, with the brisket, it was kind of thick and flaky. We went with onion rings for the side and they were unique with a crunchy skin, which was good. read more

You can never go wrong with this place. I typically get the large pulled pork sand which with the mushroom appetizer. Delicious! Their pies are homemade and change per day so ask what they have going for that day. Highly recommend stopping if you're headed north out of Bentonville or need a rest while traveling. It's one of those places that sells out and closes. I have only eaten there once and I cannot wait to go back. Order ahead, pull in, call, and wait for them to bring it out to you. It works great. Having eaten barbecue in Texas at dozens places over my 60+ years I admit to some fairly strong prejudice on the subject. Barbecue means brisket, ribs or sausage and chicken (yard bird) is an afterthought. There is no such thing as "pulled pork" so I didn't try that here. I did try what turned out to be a rack of the most tender flavorable pork ribs I have ever been served. I had slaw which was shredded style and not a bit too sweet along with the mustard-based potato salad (my favorite). They use a dry rub and smoke with hickory and after a protracted discussion on these matters I was obliged to sample some of the equally succulent brisket. Being too full, I took a couple of lbs home to share with the Mrs. P.S. the reviewers that commented about lack of flavor must be smokers with dead taste buds read more

Stopped while traveling. We were a bit skeptic by the appearance of the outside thinking they didn't have indoor seating but they do have a small inside dining room. The food was excellent. Ordered the brisket dinner with fries and beans and the bombs (cream cheese, jalapeño, and bacon breaded and deep fried). Traveling from South Arkansas we got to Jane, Missouri around noon and were all hungry. Not into chain restaurants we looked for some BBQ. This little spot delivered exactly what we all wanted... some good, no frills, smokey, BBQ goodness. The day was warm enough and sunny, so the fact that they were in covid carry-out only mode didn't hinder us from a parking lot picnic. The "small" pulled pork sandwich was generously served with chips but we added french fries. One of the group got a large chopped brisket and pulled pork sandwich- what a huge serving! It took about 5-7 minutes and the very courteous drive-through server brought our food out to our picnic spot. Well worth the stop- don't bother with those fast food places across the road! read more
