Room to move around and enjoy your food here with a big dining room and it is filled with delicious smelling BBQ smoke! The service is great as it is order at the counter and bus your own tables. I got a bbq pulled pork sandwich and it was pretty good. The meat was really good! The bun was a bust, just a white bun that was going out of style with not enough meat to cover it. It just doesn't seem too clean. I've been there four times, and only go back because our Bible class goes occasionally to different restaurants in town. The food is pretty mediocre for the price and they have the worst bbq sauce in the world. Today, the girl dishing up our food had extra-long hair and it was swinging back and forth over the food while she fixed it. One time I did have a long dark hair in my food. Also, the bathroom is kind of dirty. The hamburgers are 10.50 and aren't large or accompanied by a real side, just chips. The loaded baked potatoes have cold cheese on them instead of being hot enough to melt it. I may back out next time our group goes. The young blonde girl cashier was nice, but the girl with the long hair was "doing us a favor " to wait on us. I can't recommend this place at all. read more

The menu is on the wall - chalk board style. I tried the baked potato salad - a little weird... but delicious!! A cross between potato casserole and potato salad - served warm with a cheesy crust! Baked beans - normal, classic, goodness! Sauces - sweet and spicy - both were good - combined they were great! Decor - clean and open with a country/man-cave style. Loved the antique gas can light fixtures and the pigs repurposed from propane tanks. Lots of Razorback stuff, mounted wildlife, fishing equipment and more! It's an order as you come in, carry it to the table yourself and get your own drink kind of laid-back. Big rolls of paper towels on the table. Great barbecue and pulled pork. Tables set up with sweet or spicy barbecue sauce. Pulled pork was really great. Sides of beans and they serve a hot "potato salad" which is coarsely mashed potatoes with butter and sour cream and were really good as well. Highly recommend. read more

I didn't know what to expect when stopping here on a random trip I had to make from Bentonville to this area. I got hungry for lunch and Cassville looked like the closest town that might have some food options, and boy was I pleasantly surprised by the meal I had here. I had what I think was called the Marpel bowl with jalepeno sausage and chicken. Every element of the bowl, the potato salad, coslaw, etc, was yummy. We have been coming to the BBQ Station since they opened and they are always solid!! I LOVE their salad with the chicken, but their meats are the best you can get. There are many good things about this place. They are the employees. Other than that, it is a "meh." I started eating there when the doors first opened years ago. I stopped eating there last summer because Joel and staff don't take the risk of COVID seriously and I'm not going to let their stupidity kill me. The food is just okay. The brisket is dry and has very little smoke taste. The ribs are underdone. The chicken is also dry and tasteless. They have tried to enhance the menu over time but it still comes down to barbecue cooked in electric smokers. It just doesn't have the flavor you get from wood. Bland, boring, only good for an occasional taste when you are tired of the other bland food available around here. Don't be swayed by the good reviews. When you live in a food desert the best food is still just okay. FWIW I will not support this business after the COVID thing is over. Joel's attitude about the virus, about politics (heavy Trumpian), and about paying his employees as little as possible just doesn't deserve reward. read more

Some of the best BBQ I've ever tasted! My wife and I eat here multiple times each week. I have a smoker, and do a pretty good job at fixing BBQ folks enjoy. However, having BBQ Station in town has made me pretty lazy - no need to make my own BBQ anymore. My one small criticism is that they don't remove the inside membrane from their ribs. Personal preference is that this is removed prior to smoking, but lots of folks feel that leaving it on makes a more juicy rib. I don't. For good BBQ, this is the place to go! read more

What an unexpected surprise. A few friends and I stopped in for lunch after hiking in Roaring River State Park. With the parking packed, we thought it was a good sign. We ate the Marple Bowl, Brisket Soup, and the BBQ Nachos (modified for a vegetarian). All loved it and said that we need to do this trail again just to eat here. The Marple Bowl comes highly recommended from the staff, a creation of one of the employees. It is basically a compilation of everything (including two meats). I probably would not get the sausage again, not because it was bad but because it didn't seem to add anything since it is a mild sausage. Otherwise the tastes meld well. It's basically a large serving of their warm potato salad with your choice of two of the meats (I had chicken and brisket) then pretty much all of their sides piled on top(baked beans , slaw, cheese....). I can see why fellow Yelpers rate this restaurant tops in Cassville. As resident of Eastern Long Island, anytime I am in the MO/KS area I have to have great BBQ. After a business meeting at the end of the day, I found this restaurant and was very happy with the food. The sauces were great, the brisket was really very good, not too smoky, nice bark and very tender. The sides were great and the baked potato salad was very tasty. Let me preface with this: My husband and I were both born and raised in Texas and lived there our whole lives. BBQ is pretty much one of the basic food groups. We went to check out Roaring River and left hungry so I pulled up Yelp. So glad I did, otherwise we probably would have had Dairy Queen and missed out! There wasn't anything any one of us had that wasn't good! We had a brisket sandwich, pulled pork, sausage, beans, coleslaw, and the baked potato salad (so so good). The staff are so friendly.
