We were visiting from out of state, and I'm so glad we happened upon Beach BBQ. We had a party of 10, and called ahead to let them know, and they had tables ready for us when we got there. The staff were so nice and the food was AMAZING. Literally everything our party had was delicious - especially the turkey, pork belly, and the Mac and cheese. Really casual place like most of the BBQ places around here. What's not like around here are the better prices for the portions, much better here! Our favorite of the Q places we visited while in NWA recently. Overall, very good. It would be in the top 30% in places like KC or TX (and in the rest of the South--NC, SC, AL, GA). But it doesn't hit the top 10% in any of those. Still, VERY good and enjoyable. I'd give 4 1/2 stars if Yelp had that option. Beautiful, just right tenderness and flavor, brisket (bark the tiniest bit light). Absolutely stunning and delicious chiccharrones (still crackling as they arrived). Pork belly and brisket burnt ends were also delicious. Pulled pork nachos were good, but better with a bit of the Carolina mustard-based sauce. Collards were great after a hit of the hot vinegar (they should add a bit of vinegar when they make them). Street corn was very good. Smoked beans a bit disappointing--okay, but they need a bit more flavor depth and smoke. Nice sauce selection. Pleasant and comfortable space (but relatively small). We will definitely return. In fact, we had an additional order delivered from here on a Friday when the line was long out the door. This joint tops the others we tried in the area (yes, that includes the much vaunted Wright's). We will try some of the other smaller spots on our next visit. But right now, this is number one in the NWA Q scene in our (deep Q experience around the world) book. read more

A three-star Michelin review means that a place is worth a "special journey." With that in mind, Beach BBQ is a Pablo Three Estrellas establishment. I'd spend a tank of gas getting here with no regrets. Everything here is wonderful. The vibe when you walk in is a mixture of a nod to tradition with wooden beams overhead and a modern, chill vibe with cool tunes quietly welcoming visitors. We were first in for the day and the team was patient and helpful. We tried just about everything over two 3-meat plates. Of special note are the pork and brisket burnt ends. They are worth getting here early and waiting in line. They are firm and flavorful without being dried out. The flavor carries the smoker's kiss without being overpowering. The turkey is peppery and still moist. Just the right amount of smoke to let you know what's up. Pork ribs fell off the bone and were not sloppy wet. The sauces are great and unnecessary. Every single detail is handled well. Do not drive through Bentonville without stopping here. read more

Simply fantastic......decided to stop in the other day for lunch, and liked it so much, went again 2 days later. I had the brisket and hot link, with a side of potato salad and beans.....hands down, some of the best food I have ever had. Brisket was moist and melted in your mouth, and the sausage was perfection. Potato salad was, hands down, the best I ever had, and the beans were fantastic. My wife had the pulled port sandwich, with collared greens and mac and cheese. While the mac was nothing to write home about, the collared greens were perfection. When we went back the other day, we had the queso fries....fries were made from fresh potatoes, and were cooked to perfection. Now, the best part......Beach BBQ does not use excess sugars in their cooks, which is what a diabetic like me likes to see. Finally, the sauces.....there is a sauce for everyone. My personal fave is the classis, as it needs nothing. However, if you mix some of the sauces, you will definitely find one to your liking. read more

A recent stop for a BBQ fix. Had their burnt ends and a few sides. I sat at the bar enjoying a cold beer to accompany the meal. There was a mixup with sides was given beans but order their kimchi slaw. They without hesitation added the slaw and told me to keep the beans too. It was all quite tasty! Wow, I'm soooo excited to have finally found/tried this place. For my husbands birthday, we were driving towards a different area for lunch when we stopped near Beach BBQ at a stop light. It said open and it was a weird time (10:45 am lol) so we decided to give it a go. From the moment we stepped in, l knew I loved the whole vibe and aesthetic. The man working at the counter was cheerful and helpful and kind! Loved the many samples he let us try, it was such a nice welcome for the first time here. Food is toppppp notch. Absolute quality. I panic ordered and shoulda got what I sampled (pork belly... unREAL!) and even so, it was still amazing. Prices are a bit more expensive than what you're used to paying for lunch, but honestly-- being able to refill my drink whenever I want, helping myself to the sauce bar, and relaxing in the well decorated and nicely lit dining area-- worth it. The Inside = Once inside you are greeted with the smell of oak used to smoke the delicious meats. The staff was super helpful with deciding what I should get as there was a plethora of offerings to choose from. The Food = DEE LISH OUS! On this trip, I ordered the 3 meat combo. Brisket = Nicely seasoned, moist, and tender with just the right amount of smoke. Spare Ribs = I got this as a recommendation and it didn't disappoint! Well seasoned and tender with a little toothiness to the bite. I have to admit, I like the cartilage :) Pork Belly = Again, nicely seasoned, moist, and tender. For the sides, I got the collard greens which was awesome. A little spicy a little vinegary a lot of flavor. I also got the Mac and cheese which was creamy and decadent. I was also offered some freebies which included potato bread, pickles, and pickled red onions. All went well with either sopping up or cutting the delicious smoked fattiness of the meats. Verdict? Beach BBQ has been one of our favorite places to eat, however, today we were left so disappointed that we doubt we will ever be returning. My husband and I each ordered a two meat combo. The young woman at the counter gave me ONE, pork rib and a slice of brisket, to which she felt it necessary to cut off half an inch at the end, for what I'm assuming is weight reasons. 1/2 an inch, seriously? We've gotten samples here bigger than the piece she cut off. My husbands meal was no different , a small slice of brisket and two small pieces of pork belly. For 56$, we probably received an equivalent of the three meat combo. Paltry proportions compared to the many other times we've been here. We feel ripped off. read more

We've driven by this location multiple times before we actually stopped and gave it a try. The food was amazing. I had the lean brisket with the ribs, collard greens, and baked beans. Everything was excellent. My wife had the brisket with coleslaw and potato salad she said the coleslaw was a finely shredded work of art and it wasn't too soupy. I'm giving them 1 star because I don't understand why they are rated so high. I asked for a chicken plate with mashed potatoes and cole slaw. I did not realize they serve deli chicken and not real chicken! OMG. This is the first time in my long life that I went to a BBQ place and got deli meat for chicken instead of a real drumstick or breast. I tried 4 sauces. All were the consistency of water and tasted like lightly flavored vinegar. The mashed potatoes were watery as well. Maybe they are from a box. IDK. Rare that a BBQ spot has a vegetarian option, but Beach BBQ does a great job with their portobello mushroom as an option. Their sauces are great. The staff go out of their way to help their customers. As an example, I went in late one day and they were out of the mushrooms. They promised to keep some aside for me the next day. This BBQ is amazing. And I'm from Texas. There's an incoming storm. I passed up another bbq place and went 10 minutes out of my way on bike to try this one. It's well worth it. The brisket is as moist as my bike shorts after crushing the Slaughter Pen Trails all day and way more flavorful. If you know me, you know that means super moist. James takes such pride in his food. Wow, if you're like us and drive by Beach Bbq often, please finally make the decision to stop in!!!!! We were absolutely blown away. The customer service was impeccable to begin with. We went on a Tuesday night so it wasn't very busy, and they let us try any meat or side we wanted/they recommended. We didn't feel rushed and enjoyed talking with the managers assisting. The meat was soooo juicy and tender! My favorite was either the pork belly or the brisket, but the turkey deserves a noteworthy mention as well. We tried all the sauces and they were all pretty good but the sweet bbq sauce was probably my favorite as it kind of tasted like it maybe had balsamic vinegar in it? My bestie got the salad and it had me drooling Mac and cheese was a white cheddar type, which also happens to be my fav kind! They use fun cavatappi noodles which really pick up the sauce well. Even the bread slice was really tasty! The building was really cute and really clean inside. We enjoyed the vaulted ceilings in the main dining area and appreciated the flow of the restaurant. I highly, highly recommend Beach Bbq as it may just become your favorite bbq spot in NWA. read more
