Very good brisket sandwiches. BBQ sauce is a bit sweet and paired with the wetness of the bun, it was almost too sweet. . Could use a bit more vinegar in the bbq sauce recipe, but that's just my opinion. One of the best, if not THE best coleslaw I've ever had. Fries were crispy and stayed crispy throughout our real. Very delicious. I didn't really like the Mac n cheese as it was pretty dry. Good potato salad. Love that they had live music playing. Staff is friendly. While traveling to Bentonville, AR we came across the best southern BBQ restaurant. Absolutely Amazing BBQ Experience - A Must-Visit in the South! It's the perfect spot for family gatherings or celebrations with friends. We ordered the Pork Belly Bites, a 2-Meat Platter with sides of broccoli slaw and spicy sausage sampler, and the sliders. Came back here with some friends and the food did not disappoint! Got the same thing as last time and it was still very delicious and portion sizes were great. Service was also great, very quick and friendly with a good ambiance and good music. However, I was really disappointed they took my favorite drink (The Hunting Season) off the menu. My friend and I ended up ordering a Moscow mule and The Burnt Orchard. They were very good, but almost HALF the size they were a couple of months ago. Got a 2-meat plate with brisket and chicken thighs. Brisket was extremely tender and pulled apart really easily. Thigh was moist. I do wish they'd given more pickled veggies though. It was just 3 thin pickles, and a small pile of pickled onions. High south sauce was good. I thought it'd be a variation of bbq sauce, but I guess it's just bbq sauce with the name "high south". Mac was amazing, and had a good bake on it. Definitely recommend that side. Collards were also good and saucy, but I'd be interested in the other options. Banana pudding was creamy and awesome. Sunset drink had nice berry taste, but prob isn't worth 7 bucks. Food came out quickly; less than 10 mins. But I was also one guy. We visited on a Monday night when they have free Bingo games. The caller was great and everyone seemed to have a good time. After Bingo, there were pool tables available and they had Monday Night Football on TV. We very mucl liked the food - I had the pulled pork while my companions had the trio of sliders and the BBQ sandwich. All were excellent and the desserts (especially the banana pudding) were excellent as well. Great beer selection (we really liked the Lost Forty Honey Bock, and they had ciders and other drinks for those whose aren't into beer. The service was friendly and efficient. Meh Only came here coz the bbq place I LOVE is closed on Sundays. The smell outside was fabulous! I was excited to try it. What a let down! First - got 1 lb of brisket and 1/2 lb of turkey and 2 brisket sandwich plates to go and they gave me a total of almost 2 tablespoons of sauce. Seriously!?!? Usually get an over a 1/2 cup at my fave place for just that much meat and more for the sandwiches. Second - tell me you don't respect food without telling me you don't respect food.... Pickled beef! Yup! Add pickles and pickled onion to the beef container with lots of juice! And what do you get? Nasty _pickled_ beef brisket! Oh and it's even better coz you don't get enough sauce to cover the pickled taste. The juices really mess with the texture of the beef too! Only a couple of slices didn't get doused and soaked in pickle juices. Just as a reference note - my fave bbq place puts pickled items in a separate container! Third - The bbq itself was ok. But not fabulous. There is certainly better BBQ in NW Arkansas! It had a kind of funky taste to it - like the starter fluid had not burned off before they put the meat on. Service - it was to go so I can't comment but ... asked for silverware and oops - got none! Would probably not go back even if my fave bbplace is closed! The brisket is pretty tender and flavorful although it doesn't have the smokiness of Beach and moist cut is definitely leaner than Wright's. However, the creamy sauce takes it to a new level.
